Sydney and London takes the cake. Sydney is vibrant and lively and London is somewhat emotional looking back to what happened in 2022 and more on moving forward plans for the country. Love it.
I sincerely regret that I did not think to go to London this year to witness the tribute to HRH. That was a truly majestic tribute. The Odell track was a perfect choice of song, and Dench's words "Farewell ma'am, and thank you for everything" was just as sad as it was beautiful.

When those drones morphed from the 50p image of the Queen into Charles, I got a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. 5 mins later I am up dancing, cheering and smiling like a crazy person. Only the London new year show can make you go through so many emotions. They really depict the year so well to music, lighting and fireworks. The Ukrainian section was so moving, too.

My husband and I always watch London's New Year celebration from home here in New Jersey, USA. This year's was beyond amazing. When the drones formed the Imperial crown, our jaws dropped. By the time Her Majesty's voice came on, we were in tears. What a wonderful, tasteful salute to her and King Charles. To the folks who created the display, pat yourselves on the back. Those were spectacular fireworks. For someone who lives in Wisconsin, in the USA, there was so much love and thoughtfulness put into the music selections. I couldn't even watch NYC 's Dick Clark's New Year's Eve show. I was so embarrassed and upset about it all. Queen Elizabeth, even though I don't live there, will always be Her Majesty to me. Be careful what you wish for. I would swap with you tomorrow. This country has gone to the dogs, run by a corrupt government who don't give a toss about the people of the UK. We have homeless veterans on the streets while the government lets illegal immigrants stay in 5-star hotels paid for with our taxes. The nurses' ambulance paramedics and firemen and just about every private sector worker you can think of is striking. Ambulances are queuing for over 12 hours with seriously ill people in the back trying to get into A&E to recieve treament. The government of this country stinks to high heaven, so forgive me if I don't get excited watching millions of pounds go up in smoke whilst old people are scared to put heating on in their homes and children are going hungry. It was once a great country, unfortunately for us people that were born here, it is no longer.
Well if you did come to England you'd be on the next plane back to sunny America because you'd soon find out how horrible this country really is with its cold wet grey weather. Absolutely no Dubai take the first place they took two Guinness world records for the largest fireworks display and the largest laser lights Dubai make a unique artistic celebration from the world's tallest building then I could say London and Sydney should take the second place but Dubai is way far better than London it's the most visited city at the New year's eve
I lived in Dubai and was there during NY Eve fireworks - in front of the Burj - fireworks look good - but as many things in Dubai, it feels very superficial - just trying to be biggest - but you can't beat London's vibe - Big Ben kicking things off, sync'd to music from the UK, the Queen's voice etc etc. Overall London's celebrations are superior. @@mark_egzafier

I been once and it okay but biggest issue there isn't a lot of entertainment leading up to the fireworks, so hours of standing around in the cold with nothing to do. They could do with a few live bands but they probably don't have the space, unless they use boats in the Thames or something. An getting home takes forever, next time I make sure I got tickets to a club or a bar someone post fireworks.
When it comes to new year fireworks.....no one can beat London.....its the best.....gives london city vibes....the Big Ben sound is just nostalgic....Big up for the organisers...

They definitely keep getting better! London always does a phenomenal job, and this is no exception. Because it's more than just a firework spectacular, it's a *STORY!* Stefania from Eurovision being played during the Ukraine section was perfect, and the tribute to Elizabeth II (and transition to Charles III) was touching. This was a stellar display. When it comes to New Year's fireworks, there's no denying that London is KING.

I watched the London eye since 2014 and singing auld land syne in the middle of the road and I’ve done that for nearly 10 years
Sydney and London takes the cake. Sydney is vibrant and lively and London is somewhat emotional looking back to what happened in 2022 and more on moving forward plans for the country. Love it.

I sincerely regret that I did not think to go to London this year to witness the tribute to HRH. That was a truly majestic tribute. The Odell track was a perfect choice of song, and Dench's words "Farewell ma'am, and thank you for everything" was just as sad as it was beautiful.
Whereas I thought it was a terrible choice if soundtrack... but I likewise regret not thinking ahead to what would be in the show. A nice tribute.

When those drones morphed from the 50p image of the Queen into Charles, I got a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. 5 mins later I am up dancing, cheering and smiling like a crazy person. Only the London new year show can make you go through so many emotions. They really depict the year so well to music, lighting and fireworks. The Ukrainian section was so moving, too.

My husband and I always watch London's New Year celebration from home here in New Jersey, USA. This year's was beyond amazing. When the drones formed the Imperial crown, our jaws dropped. By the time Her Majesty's voice came on, we were in tears. What a wonderful, tasteful salute to her and King Charles. To the folks who created the display, pat yourselves on the back. Those were spectacular fireworks. For someone who lives in Wisconsin, in the USA, there was so much love and thoughtfulness put into the music selections. I couldn't even watch NYC 's Dick Clark's New Year's Eve show. I was so embarrassed and upset about it all. Queen Elizabeth, even though I don't live there, will always be Her Majesty to me. Have a safe, healthy, and most of all blessed New Year's. This will be a year that will need all the compassion, strength, and caring we have. Be safe, and God bless.

Be careful what you wish for. I would swap with you tomorrow. This country has gone to the dogs, run by a corrupt government who don't give a toss about the people of the UK. We have homeless veterans on the streets while the government lets illegal immigrants stay in 5-star hotels paid for with our taxes. The nurses' ambulance paramedics and firemen and just about every private sector worker you can think of is striking. Ambulances are queuing for over 12 hours with seriously ill people in the back trying to get into A&E to recieve treament. The government of this country stinks to high heaven, so forgive me if I don't get excited watching millions of pounds go up in smoke whilst old people are scared to put heating on in their homes and children are going hungry.
It was once a great country, unfortunately for us people that were born here, it is no longer.
Well if you did come to England you'd be on the next plane back to sunny America because you'd soon find out how horrible this country really is with its cold wet grey weather. Absolutely no Dubai take the first place they took two Guinness world records for the largest fireworks display and the largest laser lights Dubai make a unique artistic celebration from the world's tallest building then I could say London and Sydney should take the second place but Dubai is way far better than London it's the most visited city at the New year's eve

I lived in Dubai and was there during NY Eve fireworks - in front of the Burj - fireworks look good - but as many things in Dubai, it feels very superficial - just trying to be biggest - but you can't beat London's vibe - Big Ben kicking things off, sync'd to music from the UK, the Queen's voice etc etc. Overall London's celebrations are superior. @@mark_egzafier

I been once and it okay but biggest issue there isn't a lot of entertainment leading up to the fireworks, so hours of standing around in the cold with nothing to do. They could do with a few live bands but they probably don't have the space, unless they use boats in the Thames or something.
An getting home takes forever, next time I make sure I got tickets to a club or a bar someone post fireworks.

What an incredible show! I can't imagine how much all of those fireworks cost, but everyone deserved a show like this after the past couple of years. Bravo London!!
As a Londoner and proud Brit living in Thailamd, this was brilliant. The best city in the world in the best country in the world bar none. Hope to back there in 2023. Happy New Year everyone.

@@lucas_george_ I did that in Paris fireworks .. Btw..the most amazing of them all. At the Eiffel tower with a light show and fireworks with a kickass orquestra and conductor. Amazing! Fantastique! Mon Dieu! Then at the Champ Elysees. Bonne Année.. Happy New Year!🇫🇷🎉🎊🎇🎆

I was there in the centre on the river bank, absolutely exhilarating when they done the shower of golden shimmers it was like nothing I had ever seen, and the brightness of the pride colours was just great
