As much as Higashi acts like they aren't, the CD cover to this game's soundtrack just cements that him and Yagami are bros to the very end.
I'm so glad to see Tsukumo in the picture, so many fans just ignore him. Sure, he didn't fight but he was just as important to the boys and should not be ignored!

Judgment as a series will still be ongoing, and we know that RGG is developing multiple games atm so it’s most likely that Y8 and J3 are two of them

I love how all 5 basically personify an average man's circle of friends. There's the one who's a total geek (Tsukumo), the one who's super manly and buff (Kaito), the one who's very smart and well-read (Yagami), the one who's very athletic (Sugiura) and the one who always looks cool and dresses nicely (Higashi).
Like, literally everyone of us is one of those types, and we all know other dudes who fit these descriptions.

The best part about the boys in Judgment is that, Yagami isn't the sole alpha of the group.
There are times when other point out things Yagami didn't aware of, they put up good fight most of times, have their own motivation instead of just following protagonist out of respect.

This is about Judgement, not LJ, but I fucking love how Kaito was the one who solved the mystery of Waku's death and AD-9's human experimentation because he was mocking everyone else for their conspiracy theories, lmao.

@@hue_lord_4208 Yes, exactly why i love Judgment series dynamic, Yagami don't get all the spotlight, the boys also great on their own.
Ichi and party are an enjoyable bunch no doubt, but when you experience Yagami and his band of brothers, it's nothing short of amazing and special, and the songs Destination and then Final Destination do nothing but cement the absolute unit these guys are, this song captures having guys at your back better than any other song in the franchise to date, when this kicked in for the finale of the 100 man throwdown at the warehouse, this song was beyond perfect and captured the journey from 2018 to 2021 with Yagami, Kaito, Sugiura and Higashi. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Before we learned more about Lost Judgment, I'd hoped there would have been a party mechanic similar to FF7R, with Yagami, Kaito and Sugiura being swappable characters with separate leveling systems.
@@GoldStorm07 To be honest, if they went the FF7R approach to gameplay for Ichi going forward, it would be amazing, since I have FF7R as one of my favourite games period, if we could get that hybrid party system for Yakuza 8, the game would be beyond addictive without a doubt
@@Skirish I think Ichiban's gonna keep to turn-based combat which is fine, considering that what we got was a 9-month effort after an April Fool's joke went over particularly well, his next game would have heavily refined mechanics.

I timed 0:00-3:53 on New Years, it was awesome to reach our final destination of the year.

Zhao, Adachi and Kaito would hit it off sooooo well. Same for Higashi and Han.
they'd be too op the only group I can think of that can beat them would be the OG four Gods Akiyama, Saejima Tanimura, and Kiryu. since they have Kiryu in his Prime at Y4

I have no idea how they’re gonna top the final fight in LJ with a possible sequel. All I can hope is that RGG delivers.
I don't know, I feel like there's more to it than just the final fight. I feel like something's missing in the puzzle of the history. It's just a feeling.
Gaiden and LAD8 are out. They haven't exceeded it yet.
I was getting worried that there was too few long battles. Then the amazing 100 man battle in the parking lot occurred with this fire of a remix from the first game. It was well worth it.

Yeah. It’ll be beautiful that on the third Judgment game, Yagami proposed to Mafuyu and then married her after the case closed. And then they live a happy life of their marriage.

I love how fluidly the song transitions between Press on Our Way and Final Destination in the actual gameplay. You have the chill (but still hyping up) track playing while it's quiet, and every time you go into a fight, that intro just comes blaring. No matter how many times it happens, it never gets old, and just gets you so pumped to beat the shit out of the group of thugs that just saw you.
While I personally still prefer the traditional long battle format, with the character being in "combat mode" the entire time, this kind of setup would be PERFECT for dungeons in future Ichiban games, with the split between exploration and combat being strictly defined by design.
I agree, I feel like if they did dungeons that way with a calming tone of the battle music whenever you're just exploring around the area, then it'd transition to the battle theme for the dungeon, that would be perfect.
I kinda wish the Millennium Tower in Y:LAD was that way, but what we had was also pretty good. Hopefully Lost Judgment paved the way for dynamic exploration and battle themes depending on the situation from here on with Gaiden and Infinite Wealth on the way.
The infiltration of the Omi Alliance HQ in Yakuza 7 does this with 'tranquilo' into 'apassionato' if you get seen, but it's so easy to never get seen that nobody ever hears it.
Yagami, Kaito, Higashi and Sugiura could be four protagonists on the next Judgment game. Because the four of them are the finest legends of the game.

Best choice I've ever made, LJ is now my favorite game of all time.
I don't know why, but this soundtrack reminds me of the old memories I made in my younger days, and as it goes on, it tells me "this is you now, and that's where you came from"

Interesting Thing I Noticed: Much like Yakuza 4, I think Yagami's allies are meant to represent the Four Guardians. Kaito (Byakko The White Tiger) Higashi (Seiryu The Blue Dragon) Sugiura (Suzaku The Red Phoenix) and Tsukumo (Genbu The Black Tortoise) 🧐
It’s what they also did in yakuza 4, with saejima, Kiryu, Akiyama and tanimura respectively
That's a perfect way to link the two OSTs, keep it up man!

I'm in a dire need to see that. Especially with the Saori sections and the Kaito Files being there, I think it'd work *really* well.
Yeah. Also they should make a health bar and EX gauge bar for 4 playable characters in the next game. The health would be green just like the other two Judgment games and the EX gauge bar would be a different colors for 4 characters like blue for Yagami, orange for Kaito, purple for Higashi, and white for Sugiura.

Visited Yokohama a few months ago arrived at the Yamashita Rinkosen Promenade around 7pm. This was playing in my head the whole time I was talking with my friends along toward the Cosmo Clock 21 ferris wheel.
I kinda want a spin-off with Higashi as the protagonist. Mostly because I think it would be funny if the game was just called “Ex-Yakuza”
Kiryu is also an ex-yakuza :)

@@iorisushi They were. I didn't rly know em until I did more research into Kimura and tho I never particularly cared for boybands, they were something far beyond just that. Their tunes have got a wide array of genre and some are rly worth listening to and I love all the variety shows they did as a group, despite never caring much for variety either. Haha. Thanks for showing me a whole new world, Kimura, although that world has already ended and is now just preserved in memory.
