@@mikemiles9 They've stated that they make no distinction between which band they're writing songs for, and which songs ended up as All or Descendents just came down to timing of when the album was recorded. I wouldn't agree that All is the best Descendents album, either.

I absolutely love this All/Descendents blender you have going on with Mlio, Chad, and Scott doing songs they didn't originally do. It's a dream come true for a kid that lived and breathed this stuff since the 80s. Somebody get Smalley on board!

I have thought for years, and still think that ALL should release one more album and title it DESCENDENTS. The album will be comprised mostly of unreleased ALL songs with vocals from Chad and Scott, along with a couple of ALL covers sung by Milo at the end.
There are not many singers in the world who make me feel like Milo does. Combined with the insane talent of the other members in Descendents/All it gets me every time. What a band. Would give anything for a new ALL record too. All!

First time I ever heard this song was the first time I ever heard ALL or the Descendents: on the Trailblazer live album, which I bought on cassette at the Music Shack in Troy, NY during my first year of college back in 89/90. I got into everything ALL/Descendents related "backwards" from that tape. So, when I hear any of those songs, I still hear Scott's live vocal in my head, as you might imagine. However, it is ALWAYS a freaking TREAT to hear Milo's vocal take on literally any song, and of course, awesome to see Stephen pop in! Thanks to ALL of you!
Wow, Milo repping the Cheifs - one of the most brilliant and underrated contemporaries of the Descendents in their earliest days as a group. That Hollywest Crisis record is just as brilliant as Milo Goes To College.

I always felt like Milo first peaced out of Descendents right when they were apparently gearing up for a major Def Leppard/Billy Idol-style stadium rock phase. This kinda answers the question of what they might've sounded like if he hadn't, and honestly I think his relatively unshowy delivery might have (and apparently, does) balance that kind of material a bit better. But there were plenty of All songs where the original singers were, well, just perfect.
