I have the Tikka Tac A1, and this thing is a tac driver! With hand loads, an EC Tuner break, and a steady hand, I averaged a sub-.18 mean radius over a 25-shot zero. Amazing rifle for the money. With consistency like that, if I perform poorly at a match, it's on me.
If I owned all the "must have" guns, the "must by" guns, and all the "best" guns these channels tell me I can't live without, I would need a tractor/trailer rig to haul them all. Right now I am looking for the 6.3871 mm Earschplitten Loudenboomer fully semi-automatic 30 round clip belt fed rifle that I MUST have to survive something. BTW: WTF do I find ammo for half these "must have" guns?
Only think about the task to fullfill and choose your toy based on that. 99.9% of the videos on youtube should just be used to see pictures of the desired toy, The 5 most essential parts of shooting are: 1. Shooting position 2. Shooting position 3. Shooting position 4. Trigger control 5. Repetability To learn the basics for precision shooting i recommend to participate in 3 position 50m rifle shooting. It is very affoardable.
@mothman-jz8ug, then you're not looking for a bolt action that would do that. You'd be looking for a belt fed machine gun like an m249 saw. You can load 30 round magazines into it or a 200 round box of linked ammo.
There is one case in which this is okay. If you run a clip on night vision or thermal unit the height is 1.54” to center. This NV height is extremely common in one piece mounts but the height of two piece ring sets are extremely inconsistent. So if you are running a clip on i can see why you would have a NV height cantilever mount.
First rifle I ever bought was a Howa 30-06 in 2009. The accuracy is spot on, and definitely sub MOA at 100 out to 300 (furthest my range goes to). I wouldnt trade it for anything
If you're looking for a long range rifle I suggest looking into the Bergara BMP. The rifles are hand made in Spain and have some of the best barrels in the industry. The Bergara is based off of the Remington 700 but is a much better rifle.
Dang... ya had me at "rifled barrel". Me ol' blunderbuss never had such modern refinements. Anytime Maw wants to make varmint stew I just pack the powder and pour in a handful of gravel... line her up good and touch a match. Works real good exceptin for that time Pa accidentally shot a bear in the backside. I got the gun after the bear et Pa and won't be making that mistake.
Cross owners lighting up sig’s reviews that the accuracy is lacking. Love the Israeli Dan rifle but it’s $9k. The Tikka is my pick. Don’t forget GA Precision. Amazing 3/8 MOA guaranteed. $7k w/ good glass
This is literally one big promo vid. Sounds like they paid you. Maybe give us some honest feedback instead of sounding like you're reading a brochure..
Most long range shooters are not going to take a gas gun seriously. If you go to a PRS match, there might be a couple, but the majority are going to be shooting bolt guns.
@@rvoykin First point I wish to make is that “semi auto” doesn’t equate to gas gun. The second point is that the evidence suggests that semi automatic long range guns generally preform at a similar range of accuracy. You are correct in the assumption that the firearm crowd always seems to put bias above performance.

I got it in 308. Beautiful gun. Everything about it out the box is perfect
Tikka made the final cut for me.
I love the sig sauer cross PRS and the Tikka T3X tac A1 rifles 💙💙💙🔥🔥🔥

Channel sponsorships are the answer to your question.
Ah frustrating, grasshopper.

I’m here to say….Stop putting cantilever mounts on bolt actions. Buy rings or purpose built bolt action 1 piece mounts.
Normally I’d say let people do what they want… but I’m here to say. I agree. Lol

I like that you introduced the IWI Dan sniper rifle.
Nice to see a Howa on the list.
I feel like they are often over looked. I own a Howa whitetail in .308 and love this rifle.

6:35 what the hell is that giant optic? I want one but I guarantee I can’t afford it
I already have an M14 rifle- it is plenty.
Saaaaweeeeeet😊👍
awesome video!!!, very educational, in my opinion they have been used ineffectively to secure this nation

Thats my beauty Tikka t3x tac A1!
Desert tech
You talk about "this price bracket" what is it ??? Then you only state the prices of two rifles, $8000 apart.
so I know how much the msrp. for the Howa is what about all the other rifles??
I am still waiting for a proper review on the Lithgow LA105 Woomera long-range rifle in either 6.5CM or .308
Just buy one dude, It's a Lithgow they shoot great.
OH BILLY
Can anyone find a place where the tikka t3x tac a1 its available?
What do you mean you must own this rifle. I don't even know if people allowed to own rifles like this where I live.
Can anyone tell me what is the scope at 6:00 please?
Where is barret 50bmg sniper rifle? My favorite sniper of all time..
what's with Victrix ?

Sure just give me the money and i will buy them right away
The FBI should already own a few sniper rifles :)
@@survivalgearofficial well thats true
@@survivalgearofficial Of all these bolt rifles at $2500 or less, choose the top dog?
Can be 1 not on this list. You choose?
@@survivalgearofficial is there a way I can pm you?
Semiauto DMR , don't bolt your way through a civil war or WWIII
I solved this problem. I have both. Tikka and custom made DMR in .308.
Totalmente top
Thebottom is good enough?!
Who makes a good ar10 upper ??? Less than a $1000
Nothing beats a good custom with a 737R action.
Is the bolt action rifle for shooting 600 to 800 with iron sights even a thing? Not sure I even want to deal with optics, not my cup of tea tbh
Where s the ruger
No price on the SIG then the very first thing you mention on the next rifle is the price!? Lame.
Why so many dated rifles flooding the markets?
So us one without recoil.
Come to poppa

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed my list of precision rifles!
Does anyone associate with this channel have any experience with any of these rifles. My thinking is no
lol. All to much….Remington 700 vtr .308 a bit heavy but I can manage 3/4 moa at 250 yards so far.

crap not even auto load
When you ignore semi auto long range rifles entirely hard to take a list seriously
