In considering this purchase what adjustments are being made to accommodate climbing vs flat road pedaling? In the past, it's been rumored that climbing or out-of-saddle pedaling breaks the magnetic seal. If true, what accommodations are made or are being made, to enhance the magnetic lock when under stress? I'm very interested in this product.

You have 3 strength options for the ENDRUO2 pedal: 1) ENDRUO2 150 with normal plates --> 180N pulling force (which is about 18kg pulling force) 2) ENDURO2 200 with normal plates --> 270N 3) ENDURO2 200 with STRONG plates --> 350N With the strongest version you can cycle about 350 Watt's with pulling only and will not release from the magnet! Congrats Magped on the second iteration of this product. Magped road was my first set of pedals when learning to navigate the world of clip in pedals. Also good enhancement with the inclusion of the plastic blocks and the placement of the new screws, much better those plastic spacer on the first interation.
Hello, I just sent you an email. I like this design, but I need to know the maximum rotational float (in degrees from center) seen at 1:56 in this video. I have a need to rotate my outward facing "duck feet" more than other pedals allow
Hi David! you can rotate from 2 degrees (when you use the biggest blocks on both sides) to about 60 degrees when you remove all distance blocks. You can also mount the different block sizes for left and right rotation so that the rotation is asymmetric. The RAOD2 comes with 3 different rotation block sizes. kind regards :: Paul
