Nice old collection its a restorers dream haven. You can tell how long a car has been there by the full grown tree comming out of the hood at 5:38 what art work of time has past thanks
Awesome place...I would've bought all the galaxies and fairlanes...sad there's not places like that in finland...very easy projects = ) save them! = DD
I love that video i just love those old cars , and its to bad to see them go to the crusher .I live in a small town in New Hampshire and all the old cars we had around in this area are all gone to the crusher .At one time they were crushing old logging equipment from the old logging days. i have a bunch of old pictures i will see if i can make a video im not sure how again great video
Okay, I see that you have a fondness for american brands of cars like the ones shown in the video but I want to know what do you think about the brands of cars from your own country as well ? volkswagen, mercedes-benz, bmw, porsche, audi.... and do you know of any auto salvage yards in Germany that may have some old treasures of your country's brands as well ? just as the united states has an abundance of grave yards for old cars like the one shown in the video, does Germany have the same ?
This place would be the ultimate place for a show on speed channel,, place 4 teams of mechanics/builders to pick a car/model and build it with limited supplies but all the tools and equipment to each build a car back to stock and drive it with a full tank of gas to a set destination,,That would be Killer,,I,ve watched the Desert Kings
5:25....Mopar teaser! Where were all these cars when I was looking for parts for my 69 Skylark? Oh, I know, sitting there rotting, silently screaming, "I'm over here", only to fall on deaf ears. Though not all can be saved to see the road again, it would be nice to see some of these restored enough to be in automotive museums or placed in some sort of historical display. Damn, I wish I was rich! Well, my friend, keep the vids coming! 58 Belvedere Rules!! Cheers!
@bjbridge907 I would use chemicals to turn the rust into a primer, then take a paint stripper and remove that layer. The amount of body lost is less than the thickness of a piece of paper. Little trick I learned from someone who tries to keep the original body intact rather than buy aftermarket panels.
If i had this place I would turn it into a museum and charge a few bucks for a look-see. Check their pockets on the way out! Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.
I looked on your channel page and it said that your hometown is in Germany, just out of my curiosity is that the country you were born in and is that where you're originally from ?
I looked it up on Google Earth, its all gone now! Just an empty field. You can see where the cars used to be. If you look at the older timeline picture, they were there a couple years ago
I'VE RESTORED THESE FOR YEARS,THERE IS NO LIMIT TO THE DAMAGE THAT CAN'T BE FIXED,WE HAVE MODERN METALLURGY WELDING- dent repair --NOW ,FIBERGLASS,MAKING MOLDS,IT'S ALL DOABLE,I'VE BROUGHT JUNK TO THE AUCTION AND LAUGHED MY ASS OFF,somebody needs to take the chrome off and install it in the trunk or something, chrome is everything to a resto
No that's right video shows the cars and gives an address and a phone number this is the only one of all of RUclips videos that gives a phone number and an address that's how you do it....may you sell all the cars that you can sell.....
There are not many left. However, there's a cool junkyard in my area. If you'd like, you could watch my vid 'German Junkyard' to see what it looks like in there. You know, I've always loved Opels. I'm restoring a '58 Opel Rekord P1 at the moment. My father owns an old Audi Coupe we've restored.
My gosh,,,,most of those vehicles are 90% or better(except the interiour that is)(and of course the engines are siezed)Being in Oklahoma amongs the billies ill bet its the most well known place in that part of the country.
The music should be appropriate to the years of the car but better yet how about some descriptive commenting like 60 bel air 4gear bucket seats console glass is good this car could be saved or too rusty just parts you know a ;little something. Al
@danjcan I I'll tell you why. Because it's MY video, I didn't ask you to come here, watch it and post some stupid comment. Get a job and stop wasting my time.
wow..why do people have to put stupid music that has nothing to do with the video...just cause they like the song and think everyone should too ....dam !!.......really surprised it wasnt some daumbass RAP shit !
Old cars aren't worth sgit unless they're restored... Rich People buy them at junk price then put the money I to them... A guy I know built over 100 cars from scratch... Put them together screw by screw.. everything part and bolt brand new...
No.1 Car lover. I want to own as many as possible, believe it!!!!!💜💜💜💖
Love your collection of photos. Saw lots of cars I remember as new. Brings a tear.
@SaveOldCars Definitely one of the better yards I've seen on the tube. Thanks for posting.
Great assortment of cars and a wonderful trip down memory lane. Cars should have been restored 30 years ago. Too much rust, rot and neglect.
Nice old collection its a restorers dream haven. You can tell how long a car has been there by the full grown tree comming out of the hood at 5:38 what art work of time has past thanks

I wish you would slow it down a bit. Just get focused on a picture and it changes.
I looked on your channel page and it said that your hometown is in Germany, just out of my curiosity is that the country you were born in and is that where you're originally from ?
What's the blue 90's car?
some of these look pretty solid. All it takes is a lot of time, parts, and money. Mostly money.

I saw about 4 or 5 Kansas license plates I'm assuming that's where this is..
I looked it up on Google Earth, its all gone now! Just an empty field. You can see where the cars used to be. If you look at the older timeline picture, they were there a couple years ago
so this place is staying in business? Not crushing all the gems? Might be worth the road trip.
@ggoodan You can also search for billions and trillions on google. You'll find their website.

Those poor buicks. I want to go there and take them home with me.
Se a mão de obra para restaurar um carro antigo desse aí tinha que contratar um profissional de outros países para fazer a reforma.
Yeah, I live in Germany, been born and raised there.
