Do you happen to know how Mail Chimp handles the open rates no longer being reliable since Apple implemented privacy protection on incoming emails? Does it track Apple Mail downloads as a separate stat?

Hi, thank you for a good video! What is the different on "Opened" and "Total opens" in the report? There is a higher number of "total opens" than it is of "opened". Do you know why? :)
    Thank in advance!

“Opened” is the number of contacts who opened your email. “Total opens” is how many times your email was opened”. So if 1 person opened your email 3x. Opened = 1, Total opens = 3

@@SpringAheadMediaSolutions Thank you for the explanation. I had the same question. However, I remain puzzled. In my January results (just one monthly newsletter sent), here are the numbers I got.
      236 recipients
      228 successful deliveries
      92 opened
      total opens
This is still intriguing to me. The detailed report shows that this one user opened my email more than 100 times. Is this a bug? Have you seen this happen before? How would you interpret this data?
      Thank you.
      Patricia

@@patriciacolonhesi1923 The way opens are tracked is that there is a hidden image in your email and every time it loads it counts as a track. Most likely that subscriber left your email open in their browser and it refreshed a whole lot.

Same question, are these analytics for the Essentials or the Standard plan (or possibly both)? We are trying to understand the difference between these two plans.

Ah, I think the answer is both

The analytics that I show for most of the video are available for everyone. Toward the end, I show the Comparative reports and custom reports. Those are only available for the Standard Plan. I also have a video explaining the different plans: ruclips.net/video/x6zXp_Zn3S4/видео.htmlsi=y0obidcC_7i-_d4V
