I made this last night, preferring to let the flavours meld together overnight before eating it today - the flavours are always better that way. It is delicious; rich in flavour but also not too strong. Great recipe as always, Mandy! Thank you!
I really like how you explain with examples of some of the different ingredients since many are very different to me. That really looks delicious. You are a good teacher.
I simply adore your recipes! I live in China and I am always looking for amazing Chinese recipes to make, and your videos always help me out. You provide some really cool and informative ways of cooking. Thank you! Happy New Year! May 2022 bring you lots of good fortune and happiness!! xx
Oh Wow! Another great Claypot Recipe. Thanks Mandy for working so hard for us. Rest your wrist during this long weekend. Stay Safe and Happy New Year 2022!
This was unbelievably good! I used half daikon and half potato. The flavors of the seasonings was perfect, and the coconut milk made it all so creamy. I cooked it in your clay pot too!
Yay!! fantastic upload for my birthday! Thanks so much Mandy, looks so good. I already have a claypot but it's much smaller than yours, may have to order yours just so I can fit more food into it.
Bravo Mandy👏 I appreciate your entrepreneurship at such a young age and your talent in cooking. Also your detail descriptions in your tutorials. Keep up with your good work and best wishes on your venture.😊
Souped Up Recipes, I Love your videos. 😁👍 My wife and I love cooking, we also watch your videos and it helps alot. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🎊🎄🎁🎉
Thank you for taking the time to do the timing captions! Appreciate the time and effort you put in :) Could you use an Instant Pot to speed up the braising time?
It's good to see all these dishes made in the pot. These were some of my favourite dishes when I lived in Hong Kong. If you go to a typical Chinese restaurant in the UK, they are not on the menu. If you mention Chinese food to most British people, all they think about is stir-fried dishes.
In the Netherlands, you can order this at most authentic Chinese restaurants since the majority is owned by Cantonese. These couple of years more and more Wenzhounese and Sichuanese restaurants are popping up, however, which is a welcoming addition
Bought your clay pot! It’s wonderful, I made a Japanese version of beef stew the other day, came out great in your clay pot instead of Dutch pot. Do you plan on offering a larger size? I hope so, love the quality and design. Please make a bigger one 5-6 quart? Trying this recipe in a couple of days. Happy New Year ; )
Thank you so much for the support. I am glad you like the clay pot and already cooked with it. I will share lots of clay pot recipes in the future as well =) Will consider to make a bigger one in the future =) If you could kindly leave a positive review on Amazon, I will appreciate that. As a small business, reviews help us to build a reputation. Wish you and your family a wonderful new year =) Mandy
Hi Mandy. I wanted to say this was delicious. I have never had curry before so this was new to me. I did purchase your clay pot and it is fantastic to cook with. Waiting for more recipes for this clay pot.
Thank you so much for the support. Did the clay pot arrive yet? Did you enjoy cooking with it? If you could kindly leave a positive review on Amazon, I will appreciate that. As a small business, reviews help us to build a reputation. Wish you and your family a wonderful new year =) Mandy
I had the chance to stay for 1 month in HK in 2004 and since then I miss it so much!!! I fell in love for 2 snacks that maybe you can show in future videos... No idea of the names... One dish was rice cilinders steamed and served with a sauce, and the other was a sweet sold by street vendors in Tsim Sha Tsui.. Flat soft dumplings filled with sweet soybean paste, steamed and sold on bamboo trays....
The latter might be a red bean mochi perhaps? They are sold at Asian bakeries if you have any near you. They’re sold room temp but you can steam or microwave them if desired.
Beautiful this was the first thing I ate when arriving in Beijing. Was amazing. Please can you do a recipe for fried chicken skin dumplings!!??? I miss them so much 😢
My family is originally from Hong Kong amd I never understood why my 奶奶 (nainai) blanched the pork ribs for the Cantonese Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce (with or with out Bitter Melon). Now I know why! Thank you for teaching me something new about my family's cooking style 😊
Love your channel. Can you let us know how many people your recipes serve so that I can adjust for two people. Also, ordered your clay pot - cannot wait to get it.
Is there a reason to use this pot instead of Instant Pot? Because latter saves a lot of time. Wondering if it's because of taste difference? Or something else?
You are such a miracle for us AMERICANS! I love your culture and you make it so easy for me to transition into new heartfelt meals. Thank you kindly 🤗

Literally a dish out of HK’s Cafe dé Coral chain. Miss HK when I see dishes like this.
You continue to amaze me. I'm definitely making this next, but before I do I'm going to buy the clay pot you advertised.

Looks very similar to the curry I know from jamaica, but different spices. This needs some rice or roti!

I love your recipies. I wonder, can you fry in the clay pot? Or will that be harmful?
Yes, you can fry in the clay pot
Have you ever done bamboo steamer recipes? If not, you should consider it. In fact, you should make a bamboo steamer the next product that you sell.
Whats the best curry powder
Is that regular cinnamon stick . The color looks different! That looks yummy !
She may be using cassia bark, slightly less sweet, I find it’s a little stronger possible bitter but use cinnamon if that’s what you have.
Please explain Palm Sugar
Is it bad that I use a wok for these kinds of recipes?
what brands curry powder is the best most authentic?
_mantep ibu._
On my way to Fairwood to eat this with hot hong kong style milk tea!!!
Is there a reason to use this pot instead of Instant Pot? Because latter saves a lot of time. Wondering if it's because of taste difference? Or something else?
Hi, I was just thinking to make this in an instant pot. Should work just fine
instant pot will also work
Yum!
