If you just going to use 70-200mm F4 macro ii, there is no benefit but a downside to use A7C series because the lens is big and smaller body will provide nothing other than weight saving but less grip and EVF isn't it?
It’s up to the user really , and if they want a bigger grip, buying one or just getting the a74 makes sense
Hows the overheating? Will be shooting hours long concerts
Never tried shooting a concert so that’s hard to tell
Use an NP-F battery adapter plate with a NP-F970 battery, and use a dummy NP-FZ100 battery with the barrel instead of the D-Tap (SmallRig makes the NP-F adapter plate as well as the dummy battery) but Neewer also makes a solid Adapter plate, that I'd say is actually more durable and well made. But the SmallRig one has a USB C - PD out and in, if that's useful for you. Both SmallRig and Neewers adapter plates have a 12v and 7.4v output ports so you can use it for a Monitor and a Camera, if you need to. If you don't want to do the NP-F adapter plate option, I than reccomend buying the Ulanzi Cooling fan which works great with the newer Sony cameras like ZV-E1, E10, A7C II, ect. Now you only really need ANY of this stuff if you're recording in the highest codecs, and frame rates, ect. If you're just doing 4K 24fps, you're fine
