In most cases the brushwood is taken out as well for biomass , then the land is replanted , but what will be harvesting them in 30 years time ? These machines have only been in the go for just over 40 years , I worked for the owners of Treetop Forestry 50 years ago cutting with chainsaws and pulling the trees out with a horse , they now have about 60 machines working all over Scotland and are agents for Tigercat 😊
Very impressive machine!
That Tigercat is seriously impressive.
What happens to all the brushwood? And after "harvesting", how are the disfigured hillsides remedied?

nasty trees. promote sustainable forests
Impressive machine but the timber is small.
Not the best part of sylviculture...
inte skulle jag må dåligt jobba där
14 dislike from anti tree harvesting but playing guitar.
Those trees aren't even suitable for guitars
