Absolutely brilliant video! I'm from Ireland. Sitka grows faster here than on anywhere else on the planet! We get so much rain 😎 I love trees, but sitka has a bad rep here. The policy has been to plant tons of it... and its been very poorly maintained. People seen their landscapes being changed be huge blocks of it. So no1 wants to see more of it and planting forests has run a ground i thus country. The policy of planting mixed forests has progressed, but many decades to late, unfortunately. But anyway, I loved this video 😄👍

I'm from British Columbia where this magnificent tree grows natively. Here it is one of my favorite trees, and is the tallest in the country. So it surprises me to see it planted in the British isles, where I know it has caused damage to the local ecosystems. So I think that forestry should only use native species, which will have a better long-tern economic result. So as much as I love the Sitka spruce, I think it should not be used in Britain. Plus, the unhealthy condition of the trees is largely due to the fact that it is a non-native species. Anyways, Great Video!

I've been searching for a lightweight and strong material to make a gas powered mountain board deck out of and debating if this is the top choice I should go with? Would this be a great choice to search for or would it fail under the stress I'll be putting through off roading while pulling a custom made trailer with camping gear? The deck itself will be two parts. One the deck I'll be standing on is 38in and the engine deck will be 18in. Any opinions in the matter would be appropriated.

Of little use to native wildlife. Scotland has been destroyed by Sitka.
