Women can do the job just as good as men, and I am no feminist...lol Great to see more women excelling in the Forestry business, Arborists, Logging, Etc.. It's like she said, don't worry about the negative people, and bust your butt like everyone else.
Why is it great to see? I really don't get this bizarre thing about celebrating women doing typically male-dominated jobs. Are women getting excited when they see a male nail tech or nurse, and trying to encourage more men into those jobs?
All that matters is that you're competent. Your gender is irrelevant and in my experience in very male-dominated industries, the only people who make an issue about their gender is the women themselves. There are no 'barriers', it's just that the vast majority of women have zero interest in this kind of work just as the vast majority of men have zero interest in doing traditionally female jobs. Pretending that this must be due to some kind of stigma or discrimination rather than simply admitting that men and women are generally very different in what they enjoy doing is ridiculous.
WELL DONE Cara GOOD to see. 😊👍
