I love everything that Iivvy has done, well almost and while I loved her new direction here ,her pre Grease albums are my paticular faves I think because she was still on uk telly a lot and I got to see her live a few times I was lucky enough to be in the audience for Only Olivia she sang two songs that she has never sung live again Making a GTB and Slow Dancing and She sang Angel of the Morning one of my faves at a gig in Sheffield after 1977 she took her career to the US and we in the UK missed out on a lot of years until 2013.

In my humble opinion, the Physical album was a major game changer for her career, everyone was paying attention to Olivia's new sound and new look. I had the immense honor of seeing her Physical concert tour at the Forest Hill Stadium, back in 1981. I have loved her entire career and continue to feel the same way today as I did all those decades ago...
she is so beautiful and talented i love her so much!,her smile is radiant and lovely...I wish her personally.when I was young she always impressed me greatly,after the movie with the boyfriend who taught her how to roller skate = Xanadu ,I had a problem with my perception of her being YUPPY! yupy is a term used for overly neat people and ''in those days=Wall street rich types with brick cellphones'',who new that today everyone would get a smaller and easier to handle+store phone that actually went on the internet.I was terribly jealous of her boyfriend/husband at that time,he was very spectacular looking next to her.She was so amazing and perfect having come from being in GREASE with John Revolting as one US girl called him =I saw that on TV.And time marches on,she left the husband who gave her a little girl.Can anyone confirm that she had a little boy called Robby???????who was born with Downs syndrome????????Questions marks because I do remember seeing that with a photos of her in greenish coulers on a magazine=I think it was an Australian publication?Also when she got breast cancer and created the GUYER album,some would have thought she were just trying to be clever at that time,but now we can all see what a great visionary Olivia is...yes so back to the falling out over her first choice of husband from Xanadu production,I forgot his name.I felt sorry for that man later on.As Olivia has left him having got her sperm doner,as it where.Sorry for that clinical appraisal of her choice.When she was ''ENGLISH''she was going with an importer businessman,and maybe threw him for some other.Anyway,lil old me! What right do I have to criticism her?I hope it doesn't come over that way!And she is her own person with morals....I would however after the guy who looked like Kublai Khan crossed with Charles Bronson= the guy who ''fell off the boat'' and is periodically seen in Mexico now and then...=I think he was a cameraman?and was attractive to other women as well as Olivia???????????WTF? IS'NT IT FUNNY HOW OTHERS LOOK ON AND SEE UNWORTHINESS AND THE WOMEN ALL SEE,AAAAAAAAH WOW HE'S SO WONDERFUL! what's taht about?and yet if I were to have meat Olivia in the days of her fame in USA when she did teh Physical song,and I were to even say hi! and told her nice things,she'd just be polite and say I'm late to see my friends,or I've got a boyfriend stuff,or she'd beat a hasty retreat!,but in a nice way of course. She might not no or register with her how special I saw in her.And reverence with which I feel all my young adult life,up till that point when she was in USA and after GREASE and that her physical persona for those of that day,who were influenced by social equality justice and lefter of center of that time= punk and Bono= U2.THEY CRITICS OF HER.i AM JUST BEING VERY HONEST FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT HER PERCEPTIONS,I HAVE OF HER....I WANT IT KNOWN..Olivia is still so amazing,and I wish her present husband much luck with her,as they are a good fit together...from someone who could never be good enough to even spend the time of a cup of coffee and a slice of chocolate cake with her,seated at a favorite cafe style bistro or hang out with her....I always had problems with blondes....
