I have the 23 and 35 Noktons (we as well the the Fuji 23 and 35 f/2 lenses). All I can say is that whenever I take portraits of friends with the Noktons at f/2 or below, they all love the images. The glowy, dreamy look is something you can't replicate with the Fuji lenses witbout post-processing. All are good lenses and have a place in the kit.
A nicely nuanced comparison that provides actual value(unlike the regular suspects of "X versus Y" on the first page of Google search results). There are a lot of apt comparisons, especially at this focal length and, similarly, around the 23mm end of the spectrum, but sticking to personal experience is likely going to end up being the most useful. Keep being nobody but yourself(which is all any of us can really do).
More interesting would be the comparison Fuji 35 F1.4 vs VL 35 F1.2! I have the Fuji brand new and I'm already thinking about replacing it with the VL… The Fuji has just so strong chromatic aberrations wide open on all high contrast areas on my X-T5. I've never seen anything like it before.
@@photographybypetercharles9939i expect quality, i just told how is look like,if you say so, just watch the other photo youtubers and learn how to NOT look out of focus. They use the same platform as you and pics looks good.At the end of the day it was just an advice, you do what you want to do.

It's all about using the right tool for the job. It's nice to have the options.

Very helpful analysis for me! Thank U
I absolutely love this lens but it has a bit of a learning curve. I'm using focus peaking with Focus Check zoomed in.

Cool comparisons yet quite boring to embrace a voigtlander from those mundane aspects.
Sometimes those mundane aspects make the difference. We're in it for the fun and if these lenses up your fun game, then where's the problem?
nice but is closer to 35mm f1.4 to compare with! also most of your pics looks out of focus
Yup, I agree, but I wasn't going out and buying the f1.4 just for this video. ;)
About the out of focus, they're not, but between being reduced to 1080p and then YT compression, what do you expect?
