I got the gtr bulbs installed them for my low beam headlights definitely worth the purchase I think the truck should of came with these from factory a really helpful tip for anyone who is replacing these bulbs 💡 the passenger side bulb for the low beam is going to be a tight fight so wear gloves also due to the design it won’t rotate the bulb all the way so you will need to unplug the bulb from the harness then remove the bulb then when putting the bulb back on you will need to install bulb first then plug the harness hope this is helpful to someone

The install for the high beams on the Ranger is really hard. My hand is scratched all over and I had to keep tweaking a bulb to get it aligned. Also, the fit is not as tight as the originals. I fear in a few hundred miles of bouncing around they will come loose.

Damn those CSPs are the only way to go for modern Ford trucks. I installed them in my '15 F-150 for both low and high beam and they're amazing, good to know they also fit the Ranger and look just as amazing.
But problem is the housing is reflector I installed mine and eventually go back to a halogen. The beam pattern is very ugly with darkspots in between Short distance testing is alright and unable to notice. but when you go out in the dark and will see the ugliness
I know mine where plug n play but it had to be adjusted. The led needed to be pointed left and right so the beam pattern can look good. I had to do it on both side of the headlight. i have not tried the high beams yet but one day i will.

Would you happen to know the lux measurements for the factory LED lights equipped on the Lariat? I am curious if swapping out the entire headlight assemblies would be worth the nearly $2000 price tag vs swapping some good LED replacement bulbs such as the GTRs you show here.
I am sorry to say that we do not have the Lux measurements for those headlights, but I can tell you that the OEM LED headlights will perform better than just a simple bulb replacement! They are of course much more expensive, so for that little bit of an increase this may not be worth it for you.
Really enjoying the increased visibility from these on my 2020 Ranger. Do the fog light LEDs need to face 9 and 3 as well? I cannot find much guidance on that.
Ford ranger reflector housing is so trash when it comes installing a LED replacement. The beam pattern is very ugly on the floor and not clean or wide My friend did a modification by installing projectors in the housing but it is very costly =/
Do these need an interface module of any sort on a 2019-2020 Ford Ranger so they do not throw a light on the dash or flicker or send a false current signal to the bcm?

Hi I’ve installed some led bulbs in my 2017 ford ranger but the low beam is playing up, it will shine for 5 seconds then switches off. Any advice? I’ve also put some extra filters but it doesn’t help.
It really hasn’t been an issue on other vehicles that are equally as tight. Thankfully the GTR Lighting bulbs have a lifetime warranty anyways so you’re covered.
The beam pattern looks terrible. I suspect oncoming cars won’t appreciate your LED lights. I had the same issue with my Honda CR-V. I ended up reinstalling the stock headlight bulbs
Man, that is a bummer that you had issues with these, we sure don't see the same thing! With that cutoff line, you willl not have any light you need to worry about going into the oncoming traffics eyes, they will not be able to see that light below the cutoff line unless you have it aligned improperly!
Bit of a dumb question. My car is an old car (1995 Mercedes E320) whose beam pattern is set by the headlight lens, not the reflector. Is there a LED upgrade which would be applicable for my car? I've seen other cars where they've clearly "upgraded" to LED and their beam pattern went everywhere but down the road. I'd like to prevent that if I can. Thanks.
The little box is the LED driver. Every LED bulb needs a driver. Some are built into the bulb, some are external. Those drivers can just be tucked away.

I have the ford performance level 2 package. My question is, since I have the fox leveling kit on my low beams are aimed a little higher. Is there a way to adjust the angle of the headlight beam?? Well they’re not street legal according to the website. Now if you were to hypothetically order these lights for a Ford Ranger that was not intended for on road use and happened to mix up the two trucks.... just select the one for no license plate

Yet ou have that clearly labeled on Retrofit Source, but it isn't mentioned on HeadlightRevolution. Any reasoning you're selling and heavily promoting bulbs that aren't technically legal as headlights? If someone installs these bulbs in a state/city that requires inspections, it could cause a vehicle failure or if a cop really wants to be an ass, get someone a ticket...
With these headlights, if you have a DRL Low Beam, you willbe good to go, but with a DRL high beam youwill have issues. Let us know what version you have on that vehicle and we will go from there! Thank you for your time and have a great day!

You will totally be good to go with those LEDs, nothing to worry about as far as heat goes, as they are designed to be installed inside those headlight housings! The little fan will keep the housing from being filled with hot stagnant air, so you are good to go!

The bulbs we show in this test did very well at night, Many others did not.

Do you have to adjust the aim after putting headlights?
The aim is pretty close right out of the box, we always recommend tweaking them a bit to make sure they're just right though!
How come your lights come with a little box on wire. Mine doesn’t bring the little box you Tucked away?
The little box is the LED driver. Every LED bulb needs a driver. Some are built into the bulb, some are external. Those drivers can just be tucked away.
I saw that they cone with an adjustment tool. Did you have to adjust it or was it good out of the box?
For the low beams, the bulb will require a slight adjustment to get the LED chips facing directly left and right.

Does the CSP Mini support the low output DRL mode on the Ranger? Or will it just shut off or flicker because of the lower voltage?
That will not work with that voltage drop DRL, so you will need to turn that function off in the computer.

Because of the halogen reflectors, will this create glares causing issue for on coming drivers?
They will not. These bulbs do a very good job at replicating the halogen bulbs beam pattern and do not produce glare.

The Ultra Series 2 is significantly brighter. It’s fan cooled and can therefore be run harder.

Hey guys, if you pull the headlights, would you be able to reinstall the dust cap?
We actually have a spare headlight and even with it removed from the vehicle it’s still a tight fit with the dust cover. It’s a tricky headlight.

What kind of bulb goes in the fog lights ?
The fog lights on this truck take H11 bulbs, I would recommend the GTR Ultra 2.0!

@@HeadlightRevolution The GTR CSP Mini is not a DOT legal Headlight bulb. It's clearly labeled as fog light only on GTR's own site. Yet ou have that clearly labeled on Retrofit Source, but it isn't mentioned on HeadlightRevolution. Any reasoning you're selling and heavily promoting bulbs that aren't technically legal as headlights? If someone installs these bulbs in a state/city that requires inspections, it could cause a vehicle failure or if a cop really wants to be an ass, get someone a ticket...
Can I still use the drl function with these headlights?
With these headlights, if you have a DRL Low Beam, you willbe good to go, but with a DRL high beam youwill have issues. Let us know what version you have on that vehicle and we will go from there! Thank you for your time and have a great day!

If that is the case, you will just need to get a pair of the PWM modules with those low beams, that will correct for the flickering youget when installing LEDs into those voltage drop DRLs. Looks like they will melt your wiring considering there is no ventilation with the dust cover sealed. pass.
You will totally be good to go with those LEDs, nothing to worry about as far as heat goes, as they are designed to be installed inside those headlight housings! The little fan will keep the housing from being filled with hot stagnant air, so you are good to go!

WAS NOT A BULB COMPARRISON NOR DID IT LIST THE BEST BULBS FOR THE RANGER,WASTE OF TIME WATCHING!!!!
But problem the housing is reflector
I installed mine and eventually go back to a halogen. The beam pattern is very ugly with darkspots in between on the ground
Short distance testing is alright and unable to notice. but when you go out in the dark and will see the ugliness
