All of those improvements are spot on. I opted for the Diamondback bed cover. It's diamond plate aluminum, and it has two hinged hatches, one fore and the other aft. The rear hatch opens up and the tail gate goes down like a big mouth. What sold me on this cover is the fact that all my stuff will be locked in a bank vault like container. It's slash proof and weather proof. But it cost me $2500. Four bolts completely removes it for large cargo.
All good suggestions 👍. I also got a bug deflector for the hood, paint chips easily. The O.E. bed liner right from ford is $270, drops right in. I used my points towards that. I also recommend paint protection film on the bottom of the door sil's if you're a dog owner. My GSD scratched mine down to the primer the first time he jumped in 😬

Bought new "take-off" wheel/tire package @ RPM Takeoffs in Wisconsin, these were new components for the price of tires !!! I got the highest optioned wheels and they look great, especially compared to the cheap/plain ones that came on it !

I suggest 2.5 level kit and black out fender lights. Makes hell of improvement. As well as window tint. Adds to the secondary black theme

Hello I have a 2019 Ranger - I love the grill and was wondering are they hard to install and is there a video that walks you through the process ?
The stock grill was a little bit of a pain to get out because of certain tabs. And the new grill was super easy to put in. And yes there is a video

Aside from the grill and runners we have the same type of modifications. My cover is flush to my bed though so it looks really clean. I just really dislike the look of the covers that are like an inch over the bed.

Nice video, I really like the grill and the tailgate letters. How’s the seating position in this truck? More like a traditional large truck or van where your feet are more under you when you drive or is it more like a car where your feet are stretch out in front of you?
Thanks! And I’d have to say right in the middle. Seats aren’t low like a car. And not to high like a truck. Which is perfect for a midsize truck I think.

Truck and upgrades look great. Try to by things from places other than Amazon unless you want everyone else to go out of business. Amazon is nice and convenient but it’s also nice when Amazon has competition. We have enough monopolies... 😀
I'd say for sure a 2" or more level/lift kit and AT tires. I put 32" tires on mine with a 2.5" leveling kit and some smaller spacers and it's a great look imo. I like the running boards, I don't really step on them but I I use em to kick dirt of whatever footwear I happen to wear at the time before stepping inside.
I was wondering how your ford tonneau cover was holding up. I was thinking about getting the same one with my FordPass rewards.

Yes it’s the soft roll up. But it’s holding up great! I was planning on doing a year review on my Ranger. But I would recommend getting the cover for sure!

Which model of the Ford Tonneau cover? Are you happy with it? When the tailgate is locked, does that prevent anyone from opening the tonneau?
Truxedo soft roll up. I love it because it stick up about an inch or so giving more room in the bed compared to a cover that’s flush with the side of the bed/tailgate. And yes you can’t open the cover when the tailgate is locked. You open from inside the bed

Did you find the fit a little tight around the headlights when you installed the grill ?
Not really. The install was easier than taking off the stock grill. But that could vary person to person though. As long as it fits lol

It’s my perfect dream truck. And I imagine it will last a very very long time. Especially with that 10 speed 4 cylinder

Use Royal Purple or Castrol Edge oil
I have a 2020 Ranger and would not recommend. Slow around corners (almost stalling) and I need to replace the blend door actuator at $2400 (it’s literally a $30 part). Stock tires wore slick by 32,000 miles. All around a poor product.
The most beautiful midsize pick up truck of all time, minus the bad sides, no brand comes close when it comes to looks, especially here in asia, toyota is durable but looks hideous 😂😂😂

The raptor grill with lights is great changes the look of the front end. I ordered the DeeZee tailgate assist It was nice while it worked but in about a month the darn thing started making squeaking noises when you lowered the tailgate ended up taking it off. I like the gatorFx tonneau cover. Ordered my runningboards off eBay for about $150 and put them on myself in about 30 mins.
I run a 5 star tune on my 2019 ranger and I run a 93 octane tune and it makes it a rocket ship 0 to 60 in just over 5 seconds instead of 7 seconds stock!!
The tailgate shock is no longer available on Amazon... Sad.. The words are "running boards"..

It doesn't bother me that the tailgate has no assist. It's aluminum. I can lower it with two fingers. It would be nice, but not a big deal to me. I do wish they had included push button start on the XLT though Also, I think that on the FX4 Ford should have put actual frame mounted slider steps on instead of body mounted steps that will do no good off road. But there are always things that could be better about a vehicle.

@@Lit-UP. Not a cheap mod, but adding the Fox 2.0 level lift, 17" Dyno Gray Raptor wheels and 265/70 BFG KO2s drastically improved the look of my Ranger.
and a shut-off (permanent) for the stop & go option !
@@daghostxxx1797 If you don't know already, there is a way to disable that feature. Simply unplug the plug at the battery. I did that shortly after I got my truck, and it's been great ever since! Apparently does not cause any issues.

It was more of a pain to take off the stock grill then it was installing the new one

@@Aceinfinity-le8zc Just changed out mine the hardest part is just getting the 7 taps undone from the stock grill. Took 30 min total.

@@chaboi7 yes cold for like a solid 6 months. But all worth it for fall time. Probably the most beautiful time to be up in the U.P. especially peak fall. Also good summers of bon fires, fishing, and of course drinking lol 😂

To be honest it’s actually one of the best looking midsize truck available. You can pick one up for less than 35k even less if you don’t want bells and whistles which isn’t that bad.
