Google 4k viewing distance chart, depending on the size and distance of your tv your probably not even seeing actual 4k. You might have scammed yourself by buying the pro, you should either move closer or get a bigger tv to actually benefit from the pro, it will be a night and day difference. Most people on a tv in a average living room are sitting too far to see 4k, at those massive distances you need something like 85 inch and up to see 4k. That's why 8k failed and they stopped selling them, people realized how resolution works and that 8k was actually a scam unless you buy over 120 inch tv and sit closer. To see 4k on a 55 inch tv you want to be no further then 5 feet away ideally and for 65 inch no further then 6 feet away for example.

It's a downgrade I knew it, good video I happily stayed with my base ps5. Lol. I mean what does an upscaler do(Pssr) and in general ? It takes a lower resolution so image quality gets worse and afterwards they upscale it. But the image information that's been taken out leads to a much worser image quality that's logic. What you get is a worser image with a higher framerate. Upscaling is trash. It's only good for developers because they can get even lazier. It's the same in photography when you make a photo in native 1080p and scale it down to 864p and scale the 864p up to 4k your image will look worse because you have downscaled it to 864p. The upscaling to 4k from 864p results in a worse picture. So native 1080p looks more detailed. Native is always king.
It's a premium console that most people shouldn't care about, so I don't know why you're making so many videos about it? It's not made for the average consumer, but your a channel is often targeted at such. People that over analyse tiny differences in graphical performance are insane, yet they wonder why games aren't as good anymore. Give me genuinely good games at HD resolution any day.

U need to turn off 120hz mode to get Rays it dose not work on 120hz at least car reflection
@Kireth! Can you buy a PSVR2 and check if the visual quality has increased over the regular PS5?
I bought ps5 pro for gt7 psvr2 and the differnce ist there. Intestes it today on gt7 but it is a very very small upgrade. Reprojection ist still there, no matter what vr mode (i dont see a difference between vr mode turned on or off) and the Resolution doesnt seem to be really higher too. Im a little bit dissapointed :( its defintly not worth the money
VR definitely ugraded?
I may need to have a word with Santa for PS5 pro 🎅
Nice upgrade for vr yes
They should test Ray Tracing at night on the internal camera to see if ray tracing works on the internal camera.
Yep pssr looks messy in this. Im running rt mode without pssr.
I don't see the shimmering issues at all. Sounds to me like he had a placebo effect going on and is reinforcing his prior assumptions regarding pssr.
3D scenes… might actually be intentional, and refering to when viewing the cars in the showroom…
(…perhaps?…)
Long live Gran Turismo.

Did Mark Cerny not say with the pro you no longer have to choose between frame rate and and resolution you get the best of both?
I guess it wasn’t well explained by him, he probably meant that even performance modes have good resolution.
PSSR looks better. Dudes smoking the ganja.
Uhm why in offline mode? Also, you’re pretty much wrong about the RT. Just in the first few second you sad it looks bad, because it’s not. Looks way better in Res/RT + PSSR @120hz
Because this was recorded as soon as the update went live 🙃
@ i tested it myself on Daytona, and switched between the modes and 120hz. It looks like a bit of RT noice. Doesn’t look like shimmering or that it had anything to do with PSSR.
Thank goodness I didn't downgrade to the pro
Lets do the VR2 video. All the world is waiting for the answer if there is an improvement or not.
@@Merkste_was Thanks! Very disappointing. I was considering the PS5 Pro only for GT7 and VR2. I have a PS5 and VR2 headset, worth to mention.
I bought my PS5 and VR2 for GT7. So far I don't think it's worth the upgrade at the current price.
You have HDR off
Yes bro so RUclips can process the video 🙌🙌
Just call it PISSER please.
WTF some are saying it is better some are saying it is worse.
Sometimes may be good sometimes may be
@@Kireth This is bad news for PS6, hope they can improve PSSR. It seems to be having same problem as FSR depending on gfx engine
Hehe I love how you call it the “pisser”
Ray tracing on PS5 Pro makes GT7 image looks much worse. And the RT reflections aren't even as noticeable as in Forza Motorsport. Turn 10 managed RT/image better honestly.
@@FedericoFroebel-dw4je hahahahahaahahha have u played this way better
@@FedericoFroebel-dw4je this is not true I'm playing right now it looks better than before this duude facked his settings!
DF said that the Raytracing in Forza was lower than the lowest setting availble on PC so youre full of crap
DF said that Forza implementation of RT is poor and not up to standard. It will be interesting to see what DF says.
Digital Foundry said the exact opposite. But hey, what do they know? Gotta rely on Federico Froebel for the truth.
I’ve done a few laps on vr. I’m not sure if it’s placebo/optimism but I think it’s significantly smother.
Feel free to roast me for my purchase in the comments :)
It's better 🙃
No roast. However, everyone who's buys one is just letting Sony we will pay more for nothing. Ps6 @ $1200 will be next. I actually canceled my psn and moving to p.c. because I see where this is going.
@@Therubbersluggchannel honestly man that’s fair enough. I’m genuinely on the fence with pc and I think I’ll just invest into one instead of the ps6 for the fact i don’t think ps6 will have a disc drive. Sony is definitely trying to make a monopoly anyone with 2 hungover brain cells can see it clear as day.
Also ps plus has become absolute dog water the last few years
@0nsights1 I like "2 hungover braincells "
huge difference. Once you play and realize how smooth it is on the Pro. Most of you focusing on the graphics, it’s the gameplay that’s a huge difference. PS5 Pro in Performance mode is incredible. It’s not a huge jump in graphics but the gameplay in VR smooth as butter. No way I can play the old choppy version on ps5 that I never realized how bad it was until I played on a Pro. If I was you and you love racing in VR or with a wheel. It’s more than worth it. Like $100 bucks for extra 1T plus another $150 for 120h better game play ? How is it now worth it 😅? It’s literally so much better. I can’t play the og ps5 now it’s super choppy
You've got HDR off.....why? I know the PS5's DVR doesn't cope well with it on everything looks over exposed. The game in your video looks more natural, previously it looked over saturated at times.
I always have HDR off because it doesn't play nice with RUclips
$700 for more mood. Lol
You can't put a price on mood
So is it the ray tracing mode thats using pssr ? Then Ai makes the adjustments. If thats the case as far as i know you need a monitor with VRR for pssr to run properly.
Like deployed 👍
VR test?
Recorded, video being edited 👍
@@Kireth Sorry! Should have known you would do it! 😉
This guy is straight up professional if he saying PSSR is not right I can guarantee you. It’s not right I can guarantee you. Nobody else is seeing what he’s saying. He’s a professional Turismo player.
And he came all agro on me saying that I needed glasses. Those small fish RUclipsrs really are desperate for clicks, Jesus...

Thank you for the correct pronunciation

I just translated your comment to Engiish and apparently it means Hey lol
