There's a detail that 80% of RUclipsrs forget, when you put the GT7 on the ''time trial'' bike, the race track becomes empty of the public, which is why you should always put it in race mode, so it stays full. The game has these details, I think it's unnecessary, but it does.

The GT7 and all previous GT games have the same chase third person camera which sucks af, it would be better if they do something more immersive and not that sht which makes you think the circuit is moving and not the car.
The difference is in the details. GT7 has a far more detailed car paint model that is more realistic than Forza’s, not to mention the vehicles have more resolution and micro details that Forza models don’t and do impact the look even if not immediately visible. Couple the fact that on PS5 Pro Raytracing is on during races, and that said RT model is not only more detailed and reflects far into the distance than Forza’s, and you start getting that realism. Also, the Forze devs are obsessed with making the camera look ‘cinematic’, so they add a ton of post processing effects to it which make the end result look lore cartoony and fale. GT7, on the other hand, aims to make the vehicles look as realistic as possible, which makes a huge difference.
It's the lighting and car models mostly the car models are all taken in 8k I believe and no they aren't showing in 8k on the PS5 but you can still see the extra detail especially when zooming in, PD also knows how to make multiple different materials such as plastic, paint, steel, aluminum, rubber (not just on tires), titanium, leather, alcantara, carbon fiber, fiber glass and more vs Forza were almost everything looks like plastic expecially when looking at them back to back, speaking of paint PD truly understand the differences in paint and how they should look in almost every lighting condition, some of Forza's paint doesn't even look like the paint in real life in spite of it having the same name even on some of the newer cars and Digital foundry as well as some other RUclipsrs will be dishonest particularly to GT7 in an attempt to give Forza a chance because it really isn't even close tbh. They'll use unofficial colors and paint (because you can make your own paint colors in GT7 it's not that in depth) to make GTs cars look more unrealistic so it doesn't completely blow Forza out of the water basically GT7 just as attention to detail Forza just doesn't at least not anymore, even when you get a completely overpowered PC Forza still falls apart in car models car paint car materials and lighting.
When you turn in gt7, why don't you ever see the side profile of your car. It looks like the track is moving around the car and not the other way around.
That is just due to very stiff camera settings. You can actually make it way looser so that it's not locked on your car and it looks so much better. Though it seems like this person didn't touch the camera settings which aren't great out the gate.
If you are on a pad and play in 3rd person, that locked camera setting is far better for accuracy when cornering. Y'all ignore that more robust sims have very stiff cameras also. But again, it can be changed to give you that arcade racer feeling Forza has.

I can't say Gt7 is better than Forza nor can I say that Forza is better than Gt7, both look amazing, Forza stands out more on a visual level and detail of the circuit that gives it a more "natural" touch, Gt7 has vivid colors but at the same time unrealistic in some occasions. The 2 stand out quite a lot in many things, the only bad thing about Gt7 is the amount of Concept cars that are in each category, while Forza offers a catalog of cars much more varied and modern circuit. For me there is no winner, both look amazing and it would be a matter of taste. Personally I prefer Forza for having better physics which makes the cars more fun to drive.

To be honest it's much closer than I thought it will be, looks like Forza got some major updates since last time, GT7 might edge it still but very slightly, I went to tracks and some of footage in Forza is more realistic, also way car behaves is more realistic as well, so overall GT7 have slight edge but that Forza might beat it after couple more updates at this point
@TRX25EX How come all the people with actual racing experience say it's GT then, btw Forza handles less realistic on purpose they've even said as much. So it's definitely not more realistic
Quanto è finta in GT7? Dai, perfavore
I honestly feel that Forza Motorsport is much better than GT7 in most scenarios. While I do got to admit GT7 has some amazing attention to detail and better car models than most of FM, I feel that most of the scenarios that were in this video kinda seems to look better in FM. (Gotta admit the GT7 replays look way better than Forza’s).

I don't feel this way For me Forza looks like a Need For Speed game, full of exaggerated reflections and water, that external camera swinging side to site typical from arcade games, the cars understeer on every turn. It's a fun game, I've played a lot recently, but needs so much to reach GT7 quality. GT7 bothers me on sound quality, because every car sounds similar, and also 95% of the new content is useless
Forza does nothing better than GT7. Except maybe having fully rendered 3d tress. But they ruin it by throwing them randomly around real world tracks. Also, a 3rd person camera has no bearing on physics. Iracing has stiff 3rd person cameras, you gonna say iracing isn't as real as FM?
graphically forza sucks , the rain is very unrealistic a lot of reflection rn the asphalt a race track does not reflect as much as a road track, the night is very bright, it feels better than gt but the comparison is in graphics
How? Is it the fact almost every cars paint has the orange-peel texture? Is the some of the text is floating? Is it most of the materials including the paint look plastic? Is it the missing screws logos and incorrect details on stuff like the headlights taillights and interiors? Is it the unrealistic puddling on racetracks is it the laughable "real paint" you can put on your cars I mean I could go on and on and there are a lot of RUclipsrs out there like AutomotiveVP who actually show case these details if you don't have a PS5 and Xbox SX to look yourself. Visually, GT7 is better...but for a driving experience, Forza is miles better. The Gran Turismo series is still to this day, stuck in pretty bad driving physics. Cars is Forza have actual weight to them, and u can sense the limit of the cars
I can tell you haven't actually played GT7. The two are comparable in wheel feel, I play both. Forza on my PC, and GT7 on PS4. I think Forza has slightly better feel through the wheel, and a better range of settings to adjust, but I haven't been able to compare the two titles between different wheels. GT7 physics are better IMO. Although I will say there have been some bugs here and there between updates over the years.
@familialgameaholics7618 I've played GT7 on PS4 and PS5. And mind you, I'm a HARDCORE GT fan. I'm 41yrs old, played the hell out of all GT games...but this Forza is a much better driving game than GT7 is.
I've played every GT title since 1997, and then every FM (and FH) since 2005. On GT7, in my Fanatec DD+ (15NM) I feel the weight shift in the cars. I feel (for example at Brands Hatch) the weight of the car get lighter as you go down the dip after the first turn, and then the wheel gets heavier as it goes back up. I can feel evwry curb rumble, or little bumps on the track. I feel the tires as they screech on hard, fast cornering. I can feel the tires start to slip depending on the car/setup/wheels as i go around turns too fast. There is a LOT going on with a proper wheel setup. My wheel works for Xbox, Playstation 4 and 5, and PC, so i use it on FM as well. And yes, I feel all that on FM as well. So I'm just saying...GT7 does have a lot of road feel and physics going on that can be felt through the wheel. I had a Logitech g920 before that and I can tell you, I felt probably not even half of that on it in GT7. But with that same G920 I felt more on FM. I think some wheels just work better or worse on certain games. Now I have one that seems to be able to even the playing field
GT7 does very realistic lighting, reflections, as well as weather effects, while Forza, which remains a very beautiful game, seems to be more arcade for everyone.
Forza has better overall graphics, in rain, night time, etc. GT7 has better car models. But the main reason Forza is miles ahead GT7 is in gameplay. GT7 is like a brick in track, Forza is far superior.
Forza 8 looks like shit compared to gtr7. Also turn 10 decided to plaster some of the cars in Forza 8 with the stupid LGBTQ rainbows and the we drive together message sold my Xbox the second I saw that crap so sick of Microsoft and making everything woke.

It’s 100% a green block. Minecraft has more graphical fidelity. The blue/orange striped curbs… 1% graphical fidelity. The whole Dunlop bridge? About 3% graphical fidelity. Either your _PS5 PRO_ is trash, or the graphics in GT7 are absolute garbage. Why doesn’t the asphalt have any texture? Why don’t the clouds have any texture? Why don’t the yellow & blue barriers to the right have any texture?! I will reiterate, aside from the cars themselves, the rest of GT7 could be run by a PS2, and it looks like it was (at least in this video).

FM: Driving plastic car
GT7: Driving real car
I promise you the steadier the camera is the faster and more consistent your laptimes will be
Both games are good being updated constantly but motorsport was a big letdown
Noon time looks good in both games, But night and rain is definitely on forza's side
The only situation where forza looks better is on night driving with rain. The fog gives it a better atmosphere.
Do i have justification to be angry forza got the new gt3 models and gt7 is still on decade old ones
Forza is best in the rain
😂
Iracing: 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
9:40 wow those shots look super realistic
9:56 is better
@@Zevs-e3wyep but i meant to include about 30 secs
Trees bushes and nature stuff looks better in Forza
Please give me permission to use your gameplay videos
In my opinion this comparison is a bit useless. We don't know the specifications of the PC, which graphics card, which processor.
How much system and video RAM.
Among other things, Forza Motorsport 8 isn't even all this beauty graphically speaking, despite being released last...
Forza also has seksi motion blur
Assetto corsa:Hold my beer🍺🗿
Forza it has always been a very beautiful and real game, but in the latest version it can't compete with GT7....It's a shame, let's hope the new one comes out with a great revolution or another title that will make me stop wanting to move on to PS5!!!!
4:23 the Toyota sounded like a formula 1 when it flew by
Why does you Forza graphics looks so washed.. Looks better on my Series S
It looks like this video is using old gameplays, Forza's color contrast has improved in the new versions, in the video, it looks like it's using the old one

Froza look so Cartoonic? Bro NFS unbound did better 💀
NFS Unbound Is hyperrealistim style just like NFS 2015, it only has cartoon effects
@rijorirapa it can be turned off if prefer....
I played every need for speed ever released every single one of them trash to Worst. Huge NFS fan, but recently, after Unbound, i left playing NFs car games.... Hot wheels Unleash doing the job for me for now
Car better in gt7, effect better in forza rain etc... On pc ray tracing is better on forza ligting, reflection etc... On xbox i dont know...but gt7 on ps5 have vr❤
Forza's reply looks like real racing 3 replays.
Forza looks far behind in terms of visual realism, it doesn't look bad but i definetly not real, gran turismo materials react to lighting in a more realistic way
Gt7 night + rain < forza night + rain
@eniszmdr7664 GT7 + RAIN= realistic
Forza+Rain= over exagerated movie like, puddles turn into mirrors, not realidtic but looks nice
Gt7 crash phisics ia ridiculous , the car looks like a brick
To be honest it's much closer than I thought it will be, looks like Forza got some major updates since last time, GT7 might edge it still but very slightly, I went to tracks and some of footage in Forza is more realistic, also way car behaves is more realistic as well, so overall GT7 have slight edge but that Forza might beat it after couple more updates at this point
Forza handling isn't more realistic, it's Polyphony's poor chase cam
@ethanwayne6973 It's everyone who does real racing said Forza now have better physics and handling, I do some racing myself and Forza more realistic
@@TRX25EX😂😂😂😂😂
@TRX25EX How come all the people with actual racing experience say it's GT then, btw Forza handles less realistic on purpose they've even said as much. So it's definitely not more realistic
Gosh they never gave better camera effects in every GT it just makes me puke like the camera sticks to the car's ass
Quanto è finta in GT7? Dai, perfavore
Forza looks far more realistic Gt looks like a polished arcade game
Forza looks way more dried out and arcadey
@ Are you a Playstation fanboy?
@@donnieb602 Dont own one, still looks better.
There's a detail that 80% of RUclipsrs forget, when you put the GT7 on the ''time trial'' bike, the race track becomes empty of the public, which is why you should always put it in race mode, so it stays full.
The game has these details, I think it's unnecessary, but it does.
I think I have to disagree with you there, but hey to each their own
I don't feel this way
For me Forza looks like a Need For Speed game, full of exaggerated reflections and water, that external camera swinging side to site typical from arcade games, the cars understeer on every turn. It's a fun game, I've played a lot recently, but needs so much to reach GT7 quality.
GT7 bothers me on sound quality, because every car sounds similar, and also 95% of the new content is useless
Votos por Xbox?. Push Like
These Forza cars look like toys! The car's movement on the track is very strange!
That's because That actually move unlike GTs Rail cars with that Chase cam from GT1...
Forza has better weather effects
I have both consoles and the games. FORZA is better
bros lying for what
@henlo8468 Is not Lying Bro, just my opinion and preference based on my Gameplay hours
@@KakaCampolongo preference ≠ better
@henlo8468 Better for me. In my opinion IS BETTER.
@@KakaCampolongo Yeah, and my pref is GT7.
Forza looks better, graphics and physics. GT7 cars move like matchbox...
Graphically it sucks, I agree it feels better but it's full of glitches
Forza does nothing better than GT7. Except maybe having fully rendered 3d tress. But they ruin it by throwing them randomly around real world tracks. Also, a 3rd person camera has no bearing on physics. Iracing has stiff 3rd person cameras, you gonna say iracing isn't as real as FM?
Exactly@@aaronsmith7143I hate the 3rd person camera of Forza. Looks like floating cars steered by a child's hand.
graphically forza sucks , the rain is very unrealistic a lot of reflection rn the asphalt a race track does not reflect as much as a road track, the night is very bright, it feels better than gt but the comparison is in graphics
Yeah, Forza Motorsport 8 just looks so much better. GT7 looks too cartoony.
But yeah you just made a generic untrue blanket statement and didn't actually point anything specific out to support your initial statement.
@ When someone types a book, we understand they're typically triggered. It'll be okay, guy. Go play some videogames....🥴
@@marcusray2872 my bad for assuming you were capable of reading such a small article. Would you like me to link you to some online classes that teach you how to read? Reading is a very valuable skill that can help you a lot in life.
@@joescivic You are convincing me to get a Fanatec DD+
@@familialgameaholics7618 It's a pretty penny. $1000 just for the wheel base. Lol.
GT7 does very realistic lighting, reflections, as well as weather effects, while Forza, which remains a very beautiful game, seems to be more arcade for everyone.
Lol, wanna real race feeling? Drive & race your own car
forza king 💯
😂😂😂😂😂 i think u need glasses
If we talk about graphs, Hell nah 😂
Forza only win one thing, rainy weather
Forza has better overall graphics, in rain, night time, etc. GT7 has better car models. But the main reason Forza is miles ahead GT7 is in gameplay. GT7 is like a brick in track, Forza is far superior.
As a lifelong Playstation player, and currently on pc, there is nothig quite like gt that can Scratch that itch. I really wish they ported gt7 to pc
motor sport so better
Forza 8 looks like shit compared to gtr7. Also turn 10 decided to plaster some of the cars in Forza 8 with the stupid LGBTQ rainbows and the we drive together message sold my Xbox the second I saw that crap so sick of Microsoft and making everything woke.
Youre judging these games off the wrong information m8. Didnt you know playstation supports the lgbt too??
what you talking anout bro? Sony also supports LGBTQ XD
Jogo sem chuva 😂😂😂
GT7 smokes Forza
Everything so smooth in Gt7 can't even tell the car is moving trully
this footage in Motorsport is definitely less defined and unsaturated than real in-game!
GT7 is a pleasure for the eyes..not only in gaming but also the menus are fantastic!!!!
I don't get how fm looks so boring after fh5 isn't the same engine after all?
04:53 Wow. I am glad I watched this video. I was under the impression GT7 had “superior graphics”.
Look at “the grass” there is literally *ZERO* effort at anything resembling texture.
Forza is a good game, if you don,t compare to any other game 😂😂.
GT7 is so much better in all points.
if you wanted to take a photo realistic picture, i would choose gt7.
