The tip you provided at the 9:00 mark, using the notched stick, is awesome. It's small things like this that really help novices. Sometimes the easiest solutions are not obvious.

Excellent tips on lining up edges and screw centers. The 3/4" bottom did go on smoothly. I have to say your skill with the power saw is terrific. Even on my best day I wouldn't have been able to stay that close to the lines. Thank you, take care and have a good week ahead.

I see you're not using frames which go across the bottom. Have you seen any flex or deflection of the bottom as you stand on it while on the water?

Yes there is some flex but that’s the benefit of not having two floors or stubbing your toes on frames
