  • The mountains of Wudang are best known for their association with the internal styles of Chinese martial arts - most notably Tai Chi. In this video i'm having a wander around the mountains whilst discussing the origins of these martial arts and their legendary founder - Zhang Sanfeng!
Hope you enjoy guys - any comments, just pop them below!!

Thank you for sharing this and filming it. It helps a lot to see real life Tai chi practices and what’s going on there and around the world. It helps me understand it more and learn. It’s hard to find a lot of information on Tai chi and I would have to move to find a master or teacher. So thank you for sharing. Keep it up!

Wudang Swordsmanship is both artistic and graceful. A pleasure to watch.

I envy you for the part that you can go where your heart desired and seek what you want in life. Life is very much restricted in my part of the world. I have good impression of this legendary figure, Zhang San Fong. In many of the novel i read he came across as someone, who was not institutional or narrow minded as most martial art masters were depicted as, one who was able to embrace things outside of traditional norm.😁

I believe the martial art today is not designed for fighting, it's just a way of life, a way to develop a better yourself. Correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers.

Do you know Jack Pinnick? He is an American and also a Sanfeng martial art master in Wudang.

Beautiful scenery! Highly Recommend to you the films of Hong Kong director King Hu.Such as A touch of zen(1971) ; Lеgеnd оf thе Моuntаіn (1979) ; Drаgоn Іnn (1967).Тhеѕе all hаvе thе lаtеѕt dіgіtаlfixes in 4k versions.
As the first batch of wuxia film directors, Hu's films cover many aspects of traditional China from calligraphy、painting、 art、costume、Opera、 religion to historical allusions. I believe vou will be obsessed with these films.
