  • Against the beautiful backdrop of Yuxu Palace at Wudang Mountain, Grandmaster and Taoist Priest Zhong Yun Long is teaching a class to his students, the Sanfeng Academy which he founded. Known as the Chief Priest of Wudang Mountain, Zhong Yun Long has transformed this remote mountain into a Martial Arts Mecca that rivals Shaolin Temple. This transformation included changing the old Tai Chi forms into modern practice that has been adopted by Tai Chi Chuan schools across Wudang Mountain.

Never conflate terms. If you talk about 'fighting' Xu Xiadong is going to arrive and teach you the error of your ways. So don't bother. If you're going to talk about 'covering all bases' - this is a trick, where in reality the best way (and why other schools are different) is because they know to specialize in one area heavily. This is called legitimate. Your way leaves people with a mastery of nothing. A sentiment echoed at Shaolin and even here in Taiwan. Wudang was revived after the revolution from a few untrained teachers. It's entirely fraudulent.
