  • Tai Chi, a Chinese martial art famed for its unique martial concepts and skills, stems from the ancient, simple practice of Taoism and has thrived through the centuries. It is not only useful for self-defense in real life but also as an effective form of exercise for keeping fit through proper physical and mental training. In this episode, the inheritors and practitioners of Wudang Kung Fu are promoting the spread of this age-old martial art and the natural Taoist philosophy of living in harmony with nature in their own way, while helping others escape the materialistic world and find inner peace.

Why Wudang Taiji is so great ?
Because it is so soft and peaceful.

This makes me "homesick!" I attended Grand Master Zhong Yun Long's school several times beginning in 2010. It was a great privilege for which I am very thankful. Seeing numerous faces amongst the students that remain familiar to me, I was one of the "Lao Wai group" that were amazed and inspired by them and the intense regime they followed with little complaint (for the most part)! I last was at Wudangshan in 2016. It is my understanding that the school campus featured near the beginning of the film is no longer being used but it will always remain in my memory!

1 thing that is difficult to reconcile here, the Title is "Wudang Taichi" - and Taichi is referenced sometimes, but Kung Fu is as well and the expressed energy looks to be more reflective of Kung Fu than Taichi.
