The issue I'm having is that both the ice and water dispensers are not functioning. If each one has it's own dispenser switch would replacing one fix both? I didn't realize until I watched your video that they both had a separate dispenser switch so perhaps my issues isn't related to the switch but the dispenser control board? I don't believe it's a water line issue because my ice maker is still making ice and my door switch is still turning on/off the freezer door. Any insight would be appreciated. This was very helpful. In my case the actuator had an LED light so there was one extra step that involved removing another small module to get the old wire out and new connection in. Everything else was identical HOWEVER the water tube did not go in quite as easy as it looked. I managed to add some curve to the tube to get it better aligned and it found its way back into position. Very helpful though for sure!!!

Just replaced both switches and still don not have water flow. Ice was working before but decided to just replace both...ice still works but no water flow. Also replaced water filter. Fridfidare Model FRSHR45KS7
what if I broke the entire plastic thing off that actually dispenses the water? I am sure it has a name, but I am not sure what it might be.... perhaps a "lever"? Can you please point me in the right direction, kind sir? Thank you!
I thought this was the fix for my broken water line and ordered the water dispenser switch that looked exactly like the one in the video and on their website since it matched my switch. I was sent the wrong part and told the picture may not be correct on the website. Very disappointed!

The water is overflowing in the ice maker. I replaced the water inlet valve and it didnt fix it. Could this switch be the problem?
Check the fill tube to see if it's partially clogged with ice.
