This campaign contains the hardest stages in Alliance yet, so if you have troubles with it I would highly recommend reading the description of the video, as I laid out tips and strategies on how to approach them whether or not you are F2P. Keep on rushing, and good luck!
First I thougt its hard to but in the end i just spammed archers with a few mage towers. For the Boss fight you have to ad one artillerie tower at the end, stall the boss with barracks and thats it.

Yeah...I am sorry about the voiceline spam. Was going full sweat auto cancelling Sylvara to tripple her damage output, the earrape wasn't intentional. Gotta sacrifice all senses to beat such hard stages haha.
@@muridteladan7983She has "blind spots" in around 30% of the paths where she cannot detect enemies. The best way to position her is right above them or very far away from them while keeping her always above the line the enemies come. Might make a guide about her targeting if a lot of people find the need about it.
i might argue this is one of the best mini campaigns Ironhide has ever released. Difficult and unique enemies, challenging stages, and an intense boss fight that required micro managing. I think this is the best addition to their games they’ve added since origins.
I’ve discovered that Arborean Emissary + Paladin Covenant makes for some amazing stalling power against the hydras. They may still die, but the healing from both towers keeps them alive for such a long time. If things get bad have someone like Vesper intervene and temporarily stall. For the boss, I used Arcane Wizards with Disintegrate to deal massive damage to the boss, but you gotta be careful of the weak enemies that surround him. He was close to escaping but thanks to some clutch micromanaging I zapped him to his demise! I should mention that I did these strategies on CASUAL, so I have no idea if they’ll work for Impossible. When will I 3-star these stages on impossible? I don’t know. Fantastic update though!
I went into tknit on impossible and the flying enemies are the only problem tbh, screw those guys. That little island in stage two stalled 2 hydras for like 3 waces with paladin covenant and slows from sylvara and frog hermit. I had two alliance heroes so I just used their abilities to respawn the covenant when they all died.
+ Hardest levels in KRA so far + Tough enemies + Actually good music + Largest movable boss in KR franchise (Jokull and The Overseer, though larger, are "unmovable" bosses" XD) + Remove RNG mechanics but make the level so hard that you had to pray for RNGesus to help you + Hydra. HYDRA. HYDRAAAAA!!!
Sylvara basically gave Abominor a fate worse then death by turning him into a leather bag, which actually lead me to have a reoccurring fantasy where she changes him back out of pity which eventually leads them to become a couple.
The bog hermit is pretty "broken", I quite literally beat the entire new campaign on impossible with the bog hermit + wraith combo because a glitch I discovered, due to the niche refresh & transform mechanic, for some unknown reasons, upon using the grim wraith position swap with the bog hermit refreshes the bog's insta kill ability. So if your do a lot of microing you can pretty much just "spam" the instakill and kill every none-miniboss enemy, while leaving some money for stuff like the arcane wizard or the eldritch channeler to deal with the bosses and minibosses.
Amazing boss fight! I completed it in Impossible using Bonehart and Lumenir. Main towers Demon Pit and Eldrich Channeler. Ballista for the Hydras. Sylvara not targeting flying enemies is a big L
I don't know if anyone have mention this but I find Tricannon to be extremely effective in this campaign, like seriously I used Tricannon + Barracks + Ballista to deal with many waves of Gator, Flying Crocs, other Crocs, and Hydra PS: I beat the campaign on Normal, that boss fight took 15 years off my life
My friend and I found a bug with bog hermit, not sure if its used in the video as I haven't finished it but using grim wraiths to swap eith bog hermit resets the insta kill cd
Is the reason you keep moving dragon hero to use again the skill again? Seems like moving her can cancel the specific attack. (Similarly green breath) +) Thank you for playing it, i like kingdom rush & this video!
This tech is called "auto-cancelling". It allows you to cancel the attacking animations, essentially reseting it. This makes it so that your dragon hero can attack up to 3-4x times faster than usual. Sylvara is the best use-case for this tech, but it also works on all other dragons.
@@alexplayzKRI’d never know that tech is existing in this game.. thank you for explaining! Because I’m Korean, so I’m not very good at English. But although gap of language, i like your kingdom rush series. I always cheer up what you doing :)
Yo Alex, what do you think of the Bog Hermit in terms of power? I freaking love how the tower looks but can't seem to make it very useful. Feels like it's definitely another case of Alliance's paid towers being fairly weak.
No no. Its a very decent tower actually. At tier 1 it provides a slowing artillery attack which grants very good supportive attributes to your defense. At tier 4 you must rush the insta kill ability, as its by far the best one in the game. You can switch between purple mode in which the tower can hit fliers and deal significant magic damage or choose to go for the blue mode where it turns into an artillery dealing explosive damage. This essentially makes the tower able to counter every single thing sent your way. Just never go for the ability which makes the frog jump from its pond (its straight up terrible).
I switch her location in a very precise time in which I cancel her attack animation the frame she uses her attack letting her attack again a frame later, essentially boosting her attack speed by 3-4x times
I haven’t reached the final boss yet but HOLY FUCK that shit looks hard😨😰, Got any tips to beat him alex? It looks really hard, harder than the overseer and umbra.
As I stated, this is by far the hardest campaign in the game. The closest I could compare it to is campaigns like Shadowmoon/Rising Tides and Demon Torment. On a scale out of 10 I give it a very respectable 8/10.

This level is the hardest I've ever played on Kingdom Rush series ever that it actually stressed me out. That final boss is insane.
Yeah, this final boss is something...
Dang, look how his guy cheating the boss cheat😂

@@andi5610I just did that thanks for the tip

It was one of the hardest Kingdom Rush series levels to date, and in my opinion, even more challenging than the game's final boss.
Alliance's DLCs makes me have newfound hatred on flying enemies like cryptic dust and flying alligator

Thank you for always giving us a quick gameplay man. 😎😎😎😎😎😎
It's been a while since we had to macro the heroes and towers to beat some maps, this is how an elite campaign should look like.
3:17 Sylvara fires thorns faster than Avatar of Wrath buffed by 5 Poplust Druids in btd6
At 4:00 its even crazier. Literally faster than Wild Magus from Origins.
wow this is the first time I seen fly crocodile
Sylvara basically gave Abominor a fate worse then death by turning him into a leather bag, which actually lead me to have a reoccurring fantasy where she changes him back out of pity which eventually leads them to become a couple.
Stages are beautiful
The music in this campaign is just ✨✨✨

I didnt even notice while playing that the final boss grows as he takes damage I was too locked in, dudes ginormous at the end though mad cool
This campaign gives me rising tides campaign vibes
You were quick
This time I was an hour late haha.
The second level is really good. Took me a few tries
This Bog Hermit is a magic and artillery type tower if you swap the abillity, nice.
Amazing boss fight! I completed it in Impossible using Bonehart and Lumenir. Main towers Demon Pit and Eldrich Channeler. Ballista for the Hydras.
Sylvara not targeting flying enemies is a big L
in my opinion this was harder than pirate kings or any other campaigns in vengeance or alliance

So the greatest threat to the realm so far is… crocodilians. Huh. Shame I like crocs so much.
I see Faustus taught Sylvara well.
I beat this level on impossible with basic heroes (these 2 you got from the beginning)
You are biggest fans kingdom rush series
My friend and I found a bug with bog hermit, not sure if its used in the video as I haven't finished it but using grim wraiths to swap eith bog hermit resets the insta kill cd

Don't expect to see it anytime soon on this channel haha. I might make a BCS related one soon.

I think all these levels are easy to 3 stars if there is a combo
