Also would have had like 130 touchdowns with 15,000 yards or something along those lines. His body just wasn't built for longevity unfortunately, he took a beating. I personally think his body type was like a gift/curse. He was like an inflatable tube man, his body wasn't super sturdy and solid, he was always flailing his limbs around, which made it difficult for players to tackle him, but also made him prone to getting hurt.

The only thing that wasn’t what the coaches loved was that he was a diva for periods of his career. But it didn’t matter because he was so damn good. The thing about Gronkowski is that he revolutionized the tight end position. Up until this point, you either had TE’s who could 1.) block or 2.) catch really well. Sometimes you’d get ones who could do both ‘good’.
Gronkowski did both great. He was a beast of a lineman and a beast of a receiver. His hands were amazing and he was so hard to bring down. He also played a lot less snaps than Tony Gonzalez or Antonio Gates, so of course his stats won’t be as large as theirs.

I hate to say it being a huge Tony Gonzalez fan, but Gronk is the best TE of all time.

You have a tight end who has mastered the over the shoulder catch, matched with a QB who has mastered the over the shoulder throw. It truly is unstoppable, wild to see.

The fact that we beat him in 2017 (and with Brady throwing for like 500 yards) is still insane to me. Shout out to BDN

Yeah, as an Eagles fan I remember just not being able to stop Brady/Gronk...We did everything we could, but both still destroyed us. Thank god for Brandon Graham.

Gronk is by far the best he did everything!
    Kelce can catch that's all
Tony can catch and block decently.
Kettle can catch, block well, but can be shout down.

The balance and agility at his size is like a Mack truck cornering like a sport car. Quite astonishing actually.

    3. One handed catch against Broncos
    2. Game against Colts where he flipped into the end zone
    1. Super Bowl 53. That catch was one for posterity. And an all time Gronk classic.

Every once in a while a player comes along who is truly special, Gronk is an excellent example of one of those special players that simply breaks the game because of how incredible they are.

Gronk is the best TE to ever do it. He was so amazing to watch and some of his catches had me saying how did he catch that. Not only could he run and catch the ball he could block with the best of em. The man was a freak of nature. Thanks Gronk for all the year's you dominated. It was fun to watch you play. Can't wait to see you get that gold jacket and be in the Hall of Fame.

He was Brady’s best receiver as a TE and he was also a 6th offensive lineman every play, to me there is no other TE in history that did what he could and that’s why he is the GOAT TE
