Funny enough. Eagle dosen’t look that big compared to Edward. That honestly made him that much more of a fraud back in the day and his high opinion of himself completely unwarranted, he was just an a****le
@@aplane9625 You're actually kinda incorrect about synthesizers. The first commercial synthesizer (loosely speaking), the Ondioline, was invented in France by Georges Jenny in 1939, less than a decade after this episode takes place (although it didn't fully enter production until 1947). It was a vacuum tube based analog keyboard with aftertouch-capable velocity-sensitive keys, with the keybed mounted to a sliding mechanism allowing for vibrato control by wiggling the keybed. The instrument also featured gain-based distortion, and 18 multi-position switches to adjust the sound of the waveform. Output was simply to a built-in speaker inside the instrument's stand. If you ever watch an old black-and-white or very early Technicolor film and notice a very primitive sounding electronic instrument tone, that's most likely an Ondioline.
I never thought I'd see two things: Edward being slow to forgive and Gordon asking for help before getting to hill. Keep up the surprises, dude. 👍 That Gordon and Henry interaction gave me a bit of a chuckle.

People are expecting Edward to immediately forgive Eagle, yet we need understand this; Eagle had verbally put down someone making him depressed, it doesn’t help that it was own to Edward’s siblings/classmates, like honestly what would you do if somebody give your family members depression to a point where things can end to horrific results. It’s justified why Edward wouldn’t what to speak to Eagle or bother with him at all, it doesn’t help when Edward spoke to Tyler 4 days before the court case between the LMS and NWR and before Eagle arrived, he mentioned, “my old classmates are already being withdrawn.” Which led to him believed he was also scrapped and since Eagle was here, really sets him off on why Jason had to go while Eagle stayed alive. Sure Eagle proved time and time he has improved, especially with assisting Edward banking Gordon up the hill. While it soften his delivery to Eagle, this doesn’t mean he was immediately forgiven but it showed that he isn’t that same rude engine he once was. This is where I get to Jason whom Eagle originally made depressed; Thankfully Jason wasn’t scrapped, got over his depression and managed to convince Edward that Eagle has moved away from his horrid attitude, welcoming him into the NWR of Sodor.
I think they were based on the Class 25s and the flaws they had were similar to Thomas’s basis: They were bouncy, over consumed water, and bounced like Chuggington. The tender was also weaker than the trucks and coaches combined.
