I love the way this young lady is into her God / faith and won’t shake it for nothing. It is true when the word said, believer should not be yoked with an unbeliever. It can become uneasy as no one really wants to let go off their spiritual beliefs. Wish them luck but I say to the young lady…Never let go off God. The stance I take is that I don’t need to search for the truth of something I can never see physically. All I need to do is believe by faith because faith is believing in that which I cannot see regardless. I choose to believe by choice as I have nothing to loose but everything to loose when I exit this world and what if I confirm that there is indeed a God who will judge me of my life on earth. But if there was no God I have nothing to loose but if there is and I did not believe or wavering I would have lost out. All the best ❤

Not that rare, but they are certainly a minority, especially when the girl is beautiful, the beauty often goes to their heads. Which is unfortunate because they have no idea of the competition they have. I value girls with this type of personality, they are my preference without a doubt. He is the ONLY guy who did the right thing and had the date immediately, and she's the only woman who wasn't solely clout chasing and canceling plans. Also, the only match that seems to have both individuals mature and level-headed. I wish they weren't incompatible in religious values.
It's hard to not be incompatible when a bible-thumper thinks you're "broken" and wants you to bible-thump with her.
This was my favorite follow up episode so far! Maturity. Respect. All of it. Both beautiful people who genuinely seem to want to understand each other.

Definitely!! God doesn’t make men shit to lead it’s your upbringing and morals, values and integrity your parents apply in you. It’s through your ancestors which apply within your parents. Military helped him also with discipline and he accepted the discipline. That’s why I think is a part of him so serious 😅
The better question is: "do you believe a man can lead without the God that YOU were brainwashed to believe in?" Don't bother going on dates with non-churchgoing men if you can't answer that question.

They have good energy between them. They are both very thoughtful and sincere with their intentions too. It is ironic they actually have qualities that make them great for each other.

Although this initial match did not work out, Marvin and Alexis are a great example of two people that are ready for a relationship. It's great that Alexis was true to herself and recognised that she needs someone of like faith, never try to force it.

Wrong he believe in God but not in a Christian terms he may become Muslim, as he mentioned before he is looking into different religious texts. That's what made them not go forward. She want him to be a Christian and he not willing to do that cuz he used to be one.

Finally, an adult follow up. I was confused why she matched with him when it was clear from the jump they wouldn’t be yoked spiritually. We are all at varying levels of maturity in our spirituality, however when dating, not believing in the same God should be a non-starter. They both seem sweet and I hope they find a match soon. More specifically, I hope Alexis is firm enough in her faith to make that requirement in her mate a nonnegotiable.
💯💯💯 it seems like maybe she's willing to settle or shift her own foundation for the sake of being partnered. But then Marvin also seems indecisive or unsure about a lot of things in his life and also could use therapy around his childhood trauma/wounding.

This was the most mature and reasonable follow up I've watched yet. They had a date talked about life and where they are at and made a decision to be platonic, this is definitely my favorite episode.
Mutual Respect & the best relationships start out with a foundation of friendship and grow from there.
I feel the need to say this to all of the contestants on the show. The mission of the show is to pair men and women together for a potential relationship that's both beneficial and rewarding for the couple. Finding a suitable mate is very nerve wrecking and daunting. My expectations as a viewer is for them find an attractive person, go out on a date, get more personable through communication, take an assessment, go out on more dates. Then, come back to the show and update the viewers of their current status. Sounds simple, right? In real life, these things takes time. Whatever your station in life with your journey, purpose, hopes, dreams, etc, finding a significant other is very complex. Not to mention, fate, the spirituality, emotional, aspirations the other person may have or don't have. Are people willing to compromise? Are people just the "open/shut" types? So far, this is as good of a favorable update status that actually went out on a date following the show. I hope they can find what it is that they're looking for in one another.

It’s just life’s nature. Most of the people we come across will not be our life partner. Its okay. It think it can help people gain inspiration or insight about dating. This is like people watching in the park to me. There will never be some magical formula to match people up. Some platforms work better than others.
