- Today we are going to be Flash modding an iPod classic, if you don't know what that means, you basically replace the Hard Drive with an SD Card adapter board, in turn increasing the reliability and speed of the iPod.

@@jmtntbang Keep in mind that the limit is files.
Your iPod will accept and recognize 256GB but when it exceeds approximately 22,000 songs it "locks up", losing all hours of uploading.
However, with RockBox alternative software, the limit does not exist.

hey! what was the price to do all this? im going to be doing the same mod on the same ipod.
The flash mod was around $55, i recommend ordering from eoe.works (where i got mine) since the offical iFlash website charges $10 shipping
The iPod i got for $60 from the same website, and you can get an SD card from Walmart for less than $40 (i don't recommend going over 256GB for this gen iPod)
