Wrath was so fun because of the sheer amount of talent points and talents available. So much freedom in the game. No “this stat has no function for your class” BS and relatively few spec specific abilities. It was fun casting a heavy lava burst as enhancement and then running in and blasting people with storm strike. So much fun removal.
Brother. Finally somebody who gets it. Maybe everybody else is too casual and those real Warcraft fans have to suffer because of it. Normal wow will never be the same now it's just tic tac toe. No Lore feeling no studying no deep knowledge and complexion. The deepness of the warcraft world is gone without fluid player identity.
Not rly since everyone is/was minmaxxing using the same talent setups i love wotlk but u gotta take of ur nostalgia glasses man
@@robbruh1661 not rly. i had my own talenttree as an unholy dk and people i owned in pvp were surprised because they just copypasted and i had something different from "optimal". i can only speak for dk, but he got very unique talents that all had their nieche
Clear noh nah. You and your friends might’ve been elitist min/maxers, but most people in Wotlk didn’t, unless you were a top tier player.
@@FecalMatador what do u meeean i remember everyone walking around with the same talents the only exception was dk's
I remember from very early WOTLK for Shamans it was actually stronger to spec into Enhancement to as Elemental in a raid setting. The idea was to grab Mental Quickness (AP to SP scaling) in the Enhance tree along other beneficial talents while also getting the majority of the necessary Elemental talents. Librarian's Paper Cutter was a rare BoE dagger that had Spell Power and you could use in your offhand, which pretty much no other spell damage weapon let you do. So you'd use this in your offhand along another strong Spell Power main-hand and put Flametongue Weapon on both weps which granted flat spelldamage at the time, giving you insane amounts of total Spell Damage. I couldn't find the passive tree from early WOTLK. They fixed all of this at some point early during Naxx alongside some major buffs to Elemental.
On a sidenote I also made a DPS/Tank hybrid spec around block value as a Prot Paladin. Shield of the Righteous rank 1 and 2 didn't share cooldown early on and was super busted. I did 2.8k DPS tanking Patchwerk the first reset we did, with pretty much exclusively heroic instance gear. Good times.
The build you talking about haas been finetuned ( im using it on warmane frostmourne atm) and it requires teh spell fist main hand from maexxnaa 25 to make it work (2.6 speed fist with insane spellpower on it)
@@alpacaherder5680 Yea I'm pretty sure that's what I had too back in the day now that you mention it. Not easy to remember all the exact details after so long. Cool to hear it's actually still around!
@@alpacaherder5680 will the build work when wrath classic comes out? also what is the spec u run? and what u build? I am interested in the spec, seems fun!
@@MRkriegs if its 3.3.5 patch then yes
Spellenhance shamans in naxx if geared properly and knew what he was doing, it could do up to 10k dps in naxx (not full naxx geared xD)
There was one more funny WOTLK pally spec, holy spell damage ret would spec into divine storm which in early WOTLK scaled on spell power and you could practically one shot 6 targets if you glyphed into it. You would wear pally heal gear and run seal of rightousness instead of the standard strength ret builds
That was in the pre patch from wotlk and was fixed before wotlk was launched :) but yes it was nice 😁
It was called shokadin.
@@TheGreatUniterIsHere shockadin was holy/prot tho. As far as I played it
@@TheGreatUniterIsHere na was not shokadin, was ret but scaled with SP in pre patch.
I remember for a short time, when Naxxramas was the main raid, there was a weird build for enhancement shamans. There was some sort of bug with Flametongue weapon and Lava Lash. If you were enhancement spec but wore a full set of elemental gear and dual wielded spell power daggers you would actually do insane damage. It got fixed pretty quickly but it was fun being the top dps on every fight on my shaman.
Another nice spec for paladin was prot healer in arena, with stacking stamina as for a while prot pala had talent which increased spell power as % of stamina
I only watching the video hoping to see this spec, only came to the comment section to make this comment xD
Ah yes, the Unholy Spec Rogue.
Mele hunter used to work until naxx. They had for some reason good burst damage but they it was useless...
I didn't say that in the video did I ? 🙈
@@MetaGoblin yeah, dude. The rogue spec theres a prompt in the bottom right corner saying it went deep into the unholy spec 😂😂
@@Flowercloudsstudio ah damn that was meant for shadowfrost dk
As someone who played on a classless server an unholy rogue sounds terrifying
That rogue riposte build looks so cool! Gj MetaGoblin, nice vid!
Ahh, probably my favorite spec in WotLK - Retribution healer pally - heals more per case than holly and has endless mana.
i soloed mc as a shadowpriest in wotlk, accidentally deleted the footage of my rag kill which coincidentally was the easiest boss so i waited a week to reshoot, then a mage soloed it and put out a movie on wcm, which tottaly killed it for me, i still have the footage of the begining of the movie on my channel
Weeb lies
I’ve been watching your content a lot recently and I can say it’s definitely worth a sub! Thank you!
8:08 Correction: it increased the BONUS damage of cleave by 120%. So it was overall more like a 10% damage increase for the Ability at best. 120% for Cleave itself would have indeed been ridiculous.
In 3.0 my hunter was half MM half Surv to get the 15% agility. Loved that explosive shot weaving. Was the funnest pve spec we've had for the hunter.
The videos that you’ve showed in exemple of fury tank was in fact a “pure” prot spec for pvp that worked around 100% arpen and massive bust damage and a LOT of cc this spec was really strong but a bit squishy witch is pretty funny since it was mostly in a tank tree spec ^^ good videos tho ! Keep it up !
Yes I remember that spec ICC era was pretty OP
Yea Prot pally in pvp, my favourite, I remmber how on the start on wotlk everybody thinks you are weak when you challenge them to a duel, and after that you rekt them. I was dk slayer, but still bad against casters
Prot pvp pally was broken. No melee can beat that unless they had full bis lol
You can still kill casters if you loss from their range and heal yourself, mages and locks cant heal on demand and need to chase you, flash of light heals alot, just use blessing of might instead of king or wisodm that would benefit the mage when he steals, pretty easy, unless you are on an open arena, and even then you still got a chance due to extreme tankiness and instant healing with art of war + cleansing
I'm glad I found this video and this channel, I recently tried out a free private server for Wotlk and currently have a level 80 druid and paladin so it's good to see this video cause it makes me want to try these out in pvp and pve content
There was spec in 3.0.9 for paladin. In protection he get talent, that convert3d part of stamina into spellpower. Glorious times, where you go to arena vs tank palladin with 30k hp and 2k spellpower, parted with dk.
You just leaved arena atthat point. They changed that innext patch from stamato str.
One of dumbest build i had occasion to play vs
Should have talked about prot healing instead of a ret paladin with tank talents
Still sad that got nerfed. I played it as a CC bot with decent heals before it caught on as the hyper-tanky healer and got it canned.
I dueled the most geared Blood Tank on our server at the time and after 15m he screwed up a rotation and had to use Army of the Dead on me to not lose and everyone ragged him for it.
You forgot the most broken spec of WotLK: Prot healer pally.
In PVP healer gear, you would achieve almost 40k health (about as much as tanks), had unlimited mana, could silence 3 people with avengers shield, and were basically unkillable whilst healing single targets for more than any other class or spec. And the damage output was no joke; hammer of righteousness would scale with spellpower and cleave, which made the spec absolutely dominate turtle/cleave 3s compositions.
My server group had several teams, one of which managed to earn Gladiator in the S5 season by going 150-0 - undefeated in the entire season. We knew to exit the arena when facing one of them, because we would just fight them for 20 minutes until we lost since we couldn't ever kill one of them (BM hunter, Prot healer, prot warrior)
You couldn’t play prot holy in s5, also there was NO team in the world with 100% win loss with a prot holy on the team soooo...
I got a Retribution/Holy (20/0/51) with healing gear set in BGs. That was so fun because Art of War and Sheath of Light made me almost invincible!
I played this spec! They changed the spell power from stamina to strenght because it was so fucking broken in the end of wotlk.
I absolutely remember playing prot healer paladin. Full prot tree with holy gear.
I remember this too. I jumped on the bandwagon too late and they nerfed it shortly after, but it was fun while it lasted! For those that don't know, it mainly revolved around staking AS MUCH stamina as you could, as each point converted it into spell power (or intellect, can't remember). In 3v3 my teammates would die and the team just couldn't kill me 1v3.
I dont remember the prot ret spec, but i do remember a prot holy spec being very popular for an almost unkillable healer with insane mana regen from the divine plea glyph. Also i used to tank as ret for dungeons in the icc patch, my mainspec was prot and at that point packs were dying so fast i could barely even mass pull, so i would just spec ret and use the + armour legs and a few parry and dodge items which made my single target and 3 target cleave much stronger.
The primary reason Shadowfrost was nuts is that there was another Glyph which made Icy Touch purge the enemy as well.. This was where the primary pressure came from. Dispelling hots while also doing strong damage
Wow that was soo op then
The purge glyph hasn't been added to the game until mists of pandaria, WOTLK DKs didn't have a purge.
@@nincsittsemmi1 my b
In the WotLK, I got a Retribution spec with healing gear set in BGs. It was so fun. Many of the opposition faction got an addon to spot healers. Well, once they are targeting me and attacking me, I switch my one-hand and shield for a 2-hands and fight them back. They weren't able to kill me because Art of War and Sheath made me almost invincible.
There was a build for holy Paladin that you played prot to get avengers shield and get the talent that turns strength into spell power, before it was changed it was Stamina into spell power and that’s why the build was viable. It was very very strong in arena at the early stages of wotlk
I did 2v2 with a prothealer in WoTLK as a elemental shaman and we climbed all the way up to 2300 because of the sheer healing/damage he could do as that spec. It was insane, i'm glad someone remembered it.
Man, I remember warlock tanking Sarth 3 drakes...good times
GREAT fun vid man. Ty!
I like how you ask people to sub. It's not annoying or long just quick and too the point.
For Cata look @ the Glory Prot pala. Build i used in Firelands, it focused on strengthening Word Of Glory with Holy/Prot talents (most important one with all over healing turning in to a shield) Some firelands bosses 90+% of the healing i took was my own and usually the number 2 or 3 on healing done in the raid.
I started prepatch for Wrath, and it was by far my favorite expansion. I mained Blood DK until ICC came out, then went Shadow Priest, and that was a lot of fun since it was more support oriented than being a huge dps
Idk bro, Shadow priests in ICC gear did some INSANE damage and would regularly top the meters during trash and boss fights.
@@macmickyd1964 nah cuh they wouldnt
this earned you a subscriber i love the content
Ret alone was just weird when you got instant cast flash of light when you crit and cooldown reset when you crit from tier bonus. i remember queing up for heroics as healer and healing basically myself cuz i just ended up tanking everything anyway just spaming divine storm and flash of lights. Tanking, topping dps, and healing.
You could also make a revenge spec warrior, taking the revenge talents in prot and speccing into unrelenting assaults making revenge only have 1 second cooldown
Prot warr PvP in 3.3.5 is the most fun I had in wow by far and I played almost all expansions except BFA and legion.
Amen to that. Survi hunter wotlk is right there with it.
In the very beginning (got nerfed real quick) allowed you to be a readiness BM Hunter think it was marksman had readiness which reset the cd of ALL ability s then you had just enough points to get beast wrath and while i cant find it think it was named something of the monkey their was a point in time where their was a glyph which would give hunters a 30% movement speed increase if you parred an attack so what you had was a hunter who thanks to deflection would 100% parry any melee attacks be running around at 30% speed with beast wrath for over 30 seconds and had disengage for those moments when you had charge or death grip you just went na and jumped 20 or so meters back.
Meta bro we luv your vids.. Make more weird specs from all exps.. Also make some dung lore, i strongly believe it would be a hit if you do it
You can solo nearly every single TBC and Vanilla raid as a blood DK in wrath of the lich king. Some might get REALLY tricky, like raid Kael'thas, but it is doable.
There was an application called Rawr that had trees from at least WOTLK in it. It might have trees from different versions in its various versions.
man your videos are ALWAYS getting loads of dislikes and i just cant see why. you have a laid back chill voice, and even if you misunderstand a few facts about wow, its still a fun video with a quality that shows. idk mate maybe i just dont have a critic view on the world but i really dont get why people talk shit
10% is standard on a video that gets recommended, regardless of how good the content is
I was hoping to see the ranged dk :D it was so fun to play back in the day
Look Into Prot Pally in ret gear for pvp. During the ulduar patch to end of ToC this was a very underrated pvp setup that when combined with a healer and heavy dps was pretty much unstoppable.
Best times were playing my lock with my buddy who did this setup. Got glad ranking. Good times
This reminds me of really late wotlk i had really good gear for prot pala all icc hc and me and some guildies farmed heroic dungeons and sold achiev runs for the red proto drake etc. I eventually ended up with some prot ret combo and used a 2h wep to speedrun it more than in regular tank spec. Dungeons where a extremely undertuned joke during wotlk though.
I used to run mount/binding runs through ZG/MC on my blood DK. It takes a bit to get things down but it's pretty easy to solo.
I still miss the Frostfire mage who species into Ignite and Shatter to maximize the Frostfire Bolt spell.
I played Elemental Mage back then. It was super strong against melee classes in PvP, but it wasn't especially good vs casters, since you had to sacrifice Improved Counterspell.
@@bastinian8211 I played it to level from 75-80 and for a while at level 80 (until Arcane was buffed).
Awesome vid. Miss these talent trees
Is it normal to think this is ASMR the first time I watch these videos?
There was a prot healpally spec that didnt skill holy shock that was pretty strong in pvp and nearly unkillable
Also(although that maybe doesnt count as a spec) during Naxx the best dps weapon for enhancement shamans was a caster Mainhand, their flametongue buff used to scale with spellpower. Usually the Idea was to run windfury in mainhand and flametongue on offhand, but when you equipped a caster mainhand you would run double flametongue because of the ridiculous amounts of spellpower it gave.
That resulted in higher dps than running a normal melee weapon with windfury on it.
Casters were pretty mad though when you rolled on their ilvl 226 mainhandweapon as enh shammy on KJ.
I knew I wasn't crazy. I remember using the prot/ret spec back then but in recent years never found any information on it. I remember it being called a "pret paladin."
pret paladin was what we called it back in the day too
holy/prot was also popular in wrath. Wrath actually had a crazy amount of build diversity.
Its actually used even today and its called hybrid pala
Its called Preg pala
I remember playing Prot/Holy in Pvp. I was an unkillable healer!
I used to main a warrior and a death knight in lvl 80 in WotLK, and I'll tell you there were some fun stuff going down!
I was running my warrior as an avoidance-tank, which was super fun, but required sooo much gearing!
I death knight I basically stopped playing after the first tier of raiding, I was Unholy back then, and it was just too OP.
For the most part for the rest of the exp I was switching between my Warrior and whatever I felt like playing - I had a shaman, a paladin, a druid, a hunter, a death knight, a warrior and a mage in max level back then. Lots of fun
i did 3 man MC runs (really good gold per run) . you need a tank , a dps , and a healer or someone that can do some side heals this was before ICC gear . you can solo ZG ( well i only did the bosses with the mounts ) with naxx gear maybe you need 2nd for some bosses .
Protret and protholy were both some incredible stuff. Before nerfs they were able to get HoJ on a 20 second cooldown. You could literally DR your own stun if you were to use it as soon as it was ready. On protholy on the other hand you would stack stamina gems because of the talents that gave you increased stamina% and a % of your stamina as spell power. On top of that they had increased crit heals, beyond the normal 200%. You could get something like 23k holy light crits during the s6 era when hp pools were sub 30k. Also not to mention the 7k crits from your avenger's shield and 20 second HoJs as a healer.
On arena tournament they invented ret/holy hybrid pala spec. Main dmg spell judgement. U go also with shield and onehand.
Warlock, Felguard-Emberstorm. For a while there It was amazing, and I'd like it back.
Out of curiosity is there any way that you could possibly show a link where we could possibly find information on these specs that you're listing?
aw was hoping for the ttank ench shammy spec i remember i used it back in the day dont remember much about the spec or who i saw it from on yt but was alote of fun with earth weapon for treat i belive
I saw revenge warrior on the thumbnail.
Definitely a favorite PvP spec of mine.
I’m about to share a story and rogue spec which was only available for a very short time early in LK and got nerfed very soon because how amazing it was. The rogue was came up with this spec was from a Russian server. His name I do not remember. So he was running this build for raids. He was going into the sub tree to grant him a talent where any1 in the raid that Crit you would get get a combo point as a rogue. Not party mind you but whole raid. So he was almost only spamming eviscerate every gcd. He was doing almost 3 times the dps than the 2nd or 3rd person on the meters. It was an absolute brilliant abuse of the talent. Blizzard soon changed it so that you get it only from the party and can occur once every 5 seconds.
yeah, hemo HAT build. Got nerfed like instantly.
Doesn't sound like you had to be a genius to came up with this. 🤣
@@Fresco272 yeah, also was used widely when was available as far as I remember. I knew about this build and I didn't even play rogue. I didn't even play damage dealer at the time.
PROT HEALADIAN, was amazing, super survivable with tank talents and extra utility being able to have a ranged silence. Hard to be focused down and when you use you special prot buff you get mana back on dodges parrys and blocks do have a bunch of mana. You also got 300 percent healing from crit heals, was fun
Yeah. I remember running 3s as unholy with an arms warr and prot healadin. The pally was unkillable xD
I had made a weird half fury/half prot build to solo farm my Thunderfury and Hand of Ragnaros back (which was pretty hard to do on a class with 0 self-healing), even using old TBC Fire Res gear for Geddon and Rag. Also for Fury tanking you didn't need or want to use a shield at all, not at the end of the expansion anyway, whole point was to have and generate as much rage as possible to spam Cleave. I had a spell bar with all my abilities with Cleave macroed into them by the end lol.
What about the holy pally spec that would wreck in damage aswell as healing
Heya meta, loving the videos, have you done or thought of doing some more WotLK content?
Tbh, I really dont remember anyone seriously using any of these gimmick specs except the warlock tank one. Whats not on your list is enhancement tank which from toc onwards could get critcapped with resi gear and a shield. That was a fun one :P
Came here expecting enhancement or balance tank to make the cut.
PvP was so great on the enhancement tank, people could hardly touch you.
Pug raids were always a blast watching peoples heads turn when they find out you're the main tank lol
Don’t forget about holy/prot. At the beginning of wrath or at least in the pre-patch, instead of protection paladin scaling off of strength, they scaled off of stamina. So players had the bright idea to spec protection with a few points and holy, equip holy PVP gear with a ton of stamina, which turned into extra spell power from protection talents, and having all the survivability of protection. It was a PVP healing specialization that took at least seven people to take down. At least it took literally seven players combining their crowd control to take me down, and I was a very poor holy player with mediocre gear at Best.
Who remembers prot/holy for arena? Where you'd take the talent to increase your healing and crits from healing in prot.
lol I do!!! Do you also remember "shockadin"???
I got to like 2300 with running prot pally, disc priest, dk
Its the "Divinity" talent and it's best to have a DIsco priest or Resto Shaman for 2's
I remember playing my DK before patch 3.2 came and revamped talent trees, I would actually make an unholy build to go and solo old raid bosses from Vanilla and BC like Onyxia (before she was brought up to lvl 80) and Doomwalker along with ZG and MC bosses as well just for fun. Unholy blight in it's first version was SO damn overpowered it was easily 30% of your damage as long as you kept it up at all times. Then they changed it to only have a dot on your current target for 20% of your Death Coil damage and it didn't stack either... (later 10%) which was stupid because casting Death Coil was a bit of a filler for dumping runic power and if one crit and the next one didn't the Unholy Blight damage would go off of the most recent Death Coil hitting the target. I'll admit, yeah it was a smart choice to revamp the talent because in later raids it would have completely destroyed every aoe mob pull and there would be pretty much no reason to play blood DK's at all even though they had really good single target dps, but that single target damage didn't start to actually take off and scale well until Ulduar gear was obtained.
OG Unholy DK's for the win!
Fan of Knives rogue, was also really OP in the Arena , where u had 100% silence of target's if u spam hit em with FoK
I remember 3 rogue teams just dominating for a short while. FOK also applied poisons back then I think
I remember those paladins. It was pain in the ass to deal with. I played sub rogue back then...
Prot/ret was good for out DPSing 98% of DPS on heroics and raid trash.
I was able to solo molten core in my enhancement shaman during wotlk before the ToC raid was released. I ran around ulduar wacking things with the sulfuras hand of ragnaros I managed to get in there for shits and giggles.
Miss the time you could invent your personal viable version of the class. THAT was player agency.
Lol you are stupid. That was never a thing. There has always been one or two viable builds and that was it. Do you even play wow? Have you ever played the game?
Dodge attack is just the same as a parry/reset attack? For rogues?
Preg pally is more interesting and weird imo. Spec ret just far enough to get Art of War (instant flash of light or exorcism procs on auto attacks) and then can go into prot for reckoning. Then you use a 1 hander for tons of art of war procs, great in pvp.
You didn't include mage frost/fire spec. Very fun and had the best of frost and fire specs with presence of mind for increased haste
I realize that this video is a little over a year old, but I just stumbled across it today. Anyone remember Prot Pally Healers in PvP right after launch?!? When "Touched by the Light" increased spell power by 30% of your stamina and increased crit heals by 10%? Wear full Holy PvP gear, so obviously lots of spell power anyway, and PvP gear is heavy on stamina, so you get that much more from it. Plus pretty much every defensive CD in the Prot tree. And of course plate armor and a shield. It was nearly impossible to kill one. I played the hell out of that spec in 2's and 3's. But sadly, after everyone complained about them being broken, Blizz changed the talent so it was based on strength instead of stamina and it killed the whole build. 😢
Huge thing that I am missing is the fan of knives spec in wotlk arena. AoE silence and huge DPS
I remember most physical damage classes stacking Armor penetration at the end of WotLK, which led to some ridiculous builds such as a 100% armor penetration HUNTER or warriros putting armor pen gems in every single socket. It was just that good...
That was just meta u could soft cap arp as hunter with naxx gear so nothin strange there
Was the go to for prot warr pvp when they nerfed it by placing a soft cap on shield block value, after that, only way to push it higher was with shield block doubling it. Sad day that was.
you could solo lots of level 60 raids at level 80. You could even do tbc heroics and early raids like Kara and maybe Gruul. Really only BWL (razorgore) and AQ40 posed an issue for vanilla content. I did ZG on a Warlock for the mount with no special spec really.
Got neither mount ofc.
Man, last night i was ot at toc 25 and when we were done someone saw that mt was a frost dk, two one-handed weapons and all, that is the weirdest build I’ve seen so far
been searching for the fury tank talents but can't seem to find it anywhere D:
I remember being a Blood DK dps. Doing 20k+ dps while other top people were around 16-18k was fun. Wrecked in pvp too.
Had so much fun with demo lock spec, unholy DK tank, resto/Ele Shaman.
With my DK i use Dual unholy with a lot of attack power so i can take more than half of the HP of the enemy only with dmg overtime and if i need i summon the bat yo finish the job
Spriests can solo alot of stuff. Zull gurub bosses included. Like i soloed Kill Jaedan , Nefarian and The Lurker Bellow. And others too.
Enhancement Fireknives. Enh would use caster weapons and the elemental set. it actually did a lot of dps
I could Solo Kara as Enhance shaman in WotLK there was a glyph that made healing wave heal for 20% more per stack of Maelstrom Weapons which made it pretty easy to do. Though I may be thinking of Cataclysm but I'm not sure as I barely played in Cata. I know in WotLK I could solo lvl 60 raids pretty easily except for like the t3 stuff I would usually take a dps w/ me like a Hunter and I'd tank and heal myself
I had a nice holy/prot pally spec for arena that made me really tough to take down.
I remember that spec, luckily I played Ret/Sham during that time which wrecked every comp of that spec.
I remember the Shiv Build being so broken one patch that it was hotfixed... i always wanted to play it, because i never got the chance to try it out... was supposed to be around the ulduar patch i think...
Protection paladin healing was epic until they got rid of the 60% stamina to spell power convertion.
no mention of the hunter full CC spec for pvp?
I mean having the ability to CC 3 healers for up to 8 seconds was OP as fk in BGs and arenas.
Wasn't there also very briefly a DK spec where you just went halfway down all 3 trees taking mostly % stat increases, it was very early after the DK was released
IIRC that was a tanking spec that had almost all the defensive cds as well and got nerfed fast by moving the cds a bit further down.
Yeh I remember this vividly. DKs that had that build were god tier. Never really played as one but having 3 spec trees that could DPS & tank was pretty cool.
Blizz worry too much about balance & equality now.
You didn't mention bm hunter tank? Bm pets got a 50% bonus to heals cast on them, many aoe talents, and abilities to stack health and armor to scary levels
The Improved Cleave talent have been the same from classic to Wotlk.
It doesn't simply increase all the damage you deal with cleave by 120%. It increases the BASE damage. It scales better with the lower damage you dealt.
At level 80 your cleave did your weapon damage + 222 damage. Only the 222 damage part is increased by the improved Cleave talent.
So for example say your weapon damage was 778, then your cleave would deal 1000 damage.
With improved Cleve talent you'd deal 222+120%(222*2.2) to a total of 1266 damage(26.6% increase).
Say instead your weapon damage was 3500. Then you'd deal 3722 damage untalanted and with improved cleave you'd deal 3988 damage(13.9% increase).
number 4 isnt really fury tank, its just prot talents w/o the raid utility talents wearing the 2 piece prot set with the rest fury and ofc bloodvenom blade with glacial wall full 100% ArP
Its good to see a youtuber who makes videos about old content. Appreciate man
Just subbed, good luck bud, world love you to explore more lore and maybe even different games you enjoy.
Pretty sure I was able to solo MC by the end of wrath. Oddly it was the boss before domo (the dude with healers) that was the most trouble. Had to sword and board while self healing till the adds ran out of mana. Good times haha
You likely could, i was doing the binding and zg mounts runs on a pvprot warr solo.
Hybrid DK aka half blood half unholy being the best 1v1 and bg spec for DK, the real prot/ret prot talents only into reckoning and everything else into ret tree, or spell power enha shamy, what about these specs?
I remember one point where hunter gear was best on ret paladin due to the agi scaling. I think they kept that the whole expansion too. Nothing like stupid amounts of dodge on a ret coming at you.
yeah, and with 4 t10 paladin would have a chance of removing cd of the divine storm when criting, the good old days)
What about restokin??? Top Damage and Healing in BGS at the same time?
first time i reach 2400 rating was as an Hunter (main) w a Shadowfrost DK. that combo was broken af in 3.3.5
others were the Explosiveshot/silencing shot (SV/MM hunter) and the Shockadin paladin in pvp
no revange spam tank ? arms/prot ? u do same dmg as the dps clearing dungeons faster
Rn i got both 6150 retadin thats 5/5 wf and uses hc 2 hander, and a protret thats 5900 gs and has like 2 wf pieces, the protret dmg is almost the same when you build the 5 stacks of vengeance + he heals like holy and tanks like prot, its really the best pvp spec in my op
