    Set the video playback speed at .75 and that is about how fast it should be played.

      It makes you wonder how the master himself actually played it. This is, after all, a machine reproduction, wherein much accuracy and nuance might have been lost.

      @@bellowphone This is a copy of Joplin playing it, but like you said I doubt the machine could ever truly reproduce Joplin’s styles and nuances, I’m not sure this is being played at the rolls indicated tempo either.

    This is a great rendition but the temp is just too fast. Aeolian Hall made a video of the same roll but this one was punched in 1916 and at was played at a slower tempo. I highly recommend it.

      I don't think that's what's going on, it would've burned out already. Also, this piano is in britain not America so the power is still 50 hz AC.

    I think the tempo should be 80 or 85. 90 is a bit too fast.

    İts sounds like G major but its A flat major.

      The tempo in BPM is about 115 which is very fast indeed, the true tempo should be 97.

      @@rty1955 It's the standard tempo that I've adopted after seeing two midi files sequenced by professionals at that tempo.

      @@PiotrBarcz I feel 100-105 is the correct tempo. Anything faster then that is too much.

      @@SQUAREHEADSAM1912 Yeah, 97 is a nice middle ground for me because 90 is about as slow as you can go before it sounds dumb and anything over 105 sounds too fast. 95 isn't bad I think but 97 is my favorite.
