Many people will think you've substituted tapioca perls with sabudana.
But it's the fact that tapioca perl (boba) is actually sabudana mixed with cocoa powder but bigger in size 😂😂😂😂
So this Boba Tea is actually Sabudana Tea

  • @henlopeeple

Well I tried this recipe two days before nd it tastes same as chocolate shake because the caramelized brown sugar gives the taste of chocolate in tea/coffee... Nd trust me cold coffee tastes heavenly with this recipe ... Also made black tea as well for my mom cuz she's vegan but she didn't like its taste....
Also the sabudana pearls definitely get very chewy nd hard but when you chew them alot then the taste of sabudana becomes very prominent which I didn't liked at all... So I think in this case we must try once with original tapioca flour or just buy it from boba cafes....

    1 teaspoon of coffee powder
    1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
    1 teaspoon of brown sugar
    Add ice
    Then add cold milk
Decorate the final glass with caramel or chocolate syrup
    Add pearls
    Done 👍 😊
    Hope you like it! 😺

Tapioca pearls are often marketed as "sago", since they are much cheaper to produce. Sago is costlier than tapioca but in taste they're similar and often used in dishes interchangeably.
So basically the sabudana we're eating in India is not Sago, it's tapioca pearls only.
Compared to tapioca pearls, real sago pearls are off-white, uneven in size, brittle and cook very quickly.

Yes, this is honessttttt review about it. Looking at the comments , I made this with full trust but this turned out terrible. The texture of sago was reallyyy bad that I felt like throwing up. Coming to the taste, it wasn't really good and I didn't like it. I would recommend buying it online , it would be better.

    • @nehadeepakshah
      @nehadeepakshah  Год назад

So food , textures can be subjective. Also changes are you either OVER COOKED OR UNDER COOKED THE SAGO ! Lots of people tried and it turns out just fine for all. So it either doesn’t suit your palate or you goofed it up
