    Actually, I am planning something similar. However, for aesthetic reasons, I will be using chipboard on the outside, attaching hinges a a door knob on each. I hadn't thought about using plywood between the crates, so thanks for that. I don't have room for a dresser in my bedroom, but I do have room for two of these side by side. I plan on at least three tall, attaching them to the wall. The chipboard will go on inside and outside, unless I decide to use several layers of cardboard put together.
    Great video, thanks for the plywood idea.

    Perfect timing, was just looking at building some organization for the crates in the 1 ton van I've been building out, loved the idea of all the smaller lights in their own single milk crate.

    Wait. Why didn’t you just screw the plywood on a lower point through the plastic? Wouldn’t that be much more stirdy?

    • @GripTips
      @GripTips  Год назад +1

      You totally could I suppose. I think it’s done this way out here because the milk crates are usually rented through the grip dock on the backlot or a rental house. So that would probably get marked as L&D

    I always watch your videos at 2X speed, anyway, because you look funny enough to be in Alvin and the Chipmunks, when you're hyped out. What keeps the milk cold? That placement of the screws and fender washers really sucks! Why didn't you go through the solid plastic area, instead of the lattice? Cool video. Thanks for the info! How's California treating you? You doing okay financially? I hear it's crazy expensive out there. I was stationed at the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps base in 1985. So we'd occasionally go to LA or San Diego for some fun (pussycat). At that time, California was SO COOL! Everybody I met was laid back and happy. I wanted to return after I got out of the USMC. But I never did. Man, am I glad now!? You got Paul Pelosi getting in a lovers' quarrel with his long-time butt-buddy Dave Depape. Your governor is _________. I have to leave that one blank, but it's not good. I hope it goes well for you.

    Dare to be different: skip the inserts in the milk crates by using any other type plastic bin without all the holes. Milk crates are Industry Standard, but why?

    • @GripTips
      @GripTips  Год назад +1

      What do you recommend? Got a link? I’m guessing industry standard cause it’s probably the cheapest/ bigger bang for buck kind of thing
