I like how ed gives DD multiple chances and warnings. Even in his rage state, its not completely unfiltered.
Ed Edd n Eddy is a classic. I’m beyond grateful for how long it lasted.
Its kinda weird though, there wasnt much merchendise for it at all
The pebble in the shoe is a pretty good ending for Ed. There are so many people out there that become so enraged over the smallest things. May not matter so much to other people, but these pebble moments are personal and destructive.
I remember when the show was first being advertised. I originally thought Ed was the cool guy, Double D was a girl and Eddy was the comic relief
I've always considered that Ed just really isn't an absolute moron, at least not in certain areas where he's actually incredibly knowledgeable and clever that even leaves incredibly smart people astounded by that. It kinda makes sense that there are many different categories that involves intelligence with all of us each having different levels of social skills, self awareness, problem solving, memory, imagination, language, talents, creativity, etc.
He DOES get an _A_ in History on his report card.

My theory" Ed is not intellectually handicapped. He's just deeply autistic. That's why he acts goofy and emotional. He puts on a stupid person act to make his friends laught. Maybe he will act smarter and more mature when he grows up....maybe.

My worldview has been irrevocably shattered, I had no Idea that was his full name.
Sometimes the less typically intelligent see things others who are do not.
Being an intellectual at times makes you over-complicate things in your own head.
Some of this assumes a lot, but this video makes a VERY good point on how well Ed can handle things.
Also, Ed likely has a REALLY good memory, since he got an "A" in history when we see his report card.
Ed, Edd n Eddy was easily my favorite CN show growing up. My only nitpick is a couple of episodes felt like they were made to fill an episode quota.
After re-watching this show ,far as eddy's brother being a pos was largely foreshadowed whenever eddy mentioned his brother every kid became terrified after thinking he was coming back home

I feel i can relate to Ed the most because not only i have a red-headed brat of a sister that has acted the same way as sara. But also the emotions ed has especially the level of anger Ed has shown.
I've also had friends try to shape me into something that could never truly stick with me.
Eddy would take second place simply because, like Eddy, I also have an older brother who was very similar to Eddy's brother.

Referring to when Ed had the pebble in his shoe, I viewed Ed in the sense of acting out like an injured animal would. Something is hurting them, they don't like it, and because they can't resolve the issue they take their pain and frustration out on others. These are very basic responses expected from a young child who hasn't fully matured to the point of proper communication and working through one's feelings.
Ed the type of dude that coulda ended Unertaker's Streak. My man was so powerful that the Kankers couldn't even take him down three on one.

8:34 Okay that hit hard, when I was watching this show it was during a time in my life when I was trying to find who I was. I tried being the clown of the group 24/7 because, not only did I try to suppress my real feelings with humor, but it felt like the surest way to keep people around me. I eventually found myself, but I remember when it felt sinful for me to be sad. Like it was my sole job to keep the vibes going.

I guess that Ed had enough and get back at his sister I give him credit from standing up to her because she's awful person that bullies him too far when my ex-friend got me mad or upset because, she doesn't understand what I went through I let out all of my anger at her to get her to stop being such control freak.
I always believed even after the show ended. It Ed is probably the strongest character in the show. It's just, you know, with his good nature and the fact he isnt as smart as someone like double D, so sometimes He doesn't win the fights or just gets beat up. But i feel
