Fun fact Dan Povenmire, the guy who created Phineas & Ferb, worked on the earlier seasons of Family guy. I surmise that when he left is when Family guy's quality went down the toilet!

I use to like this game but it gets more frustrating the further in you get so it's not one I go back to. The humour was good though. Back to the Multiverse is a much better Family Guy game but the reviews wouldn't have you believe it. Can't understand why, I had a lot of fun with that one.
Yeah the reviews were rough, but I hear that it has something of a cult following, so I kinda want to play it at some point.

dude if you watch the show too the ones they use for this game were like all ripped from the show, Mad corny for a game to be reusing written jokes that aired.
unprecedented success? Not that I like the show anymore, but Simpsons definitely did everything family guy did first...Simpsons had unprecedented success in western markets. Since Simpsons came out first, you can't use the word unprecedented and be correct. And south park came out in 1997 while Family guy came out in 1999. But south park was never canceled, family guy was, twice. So thats the only unprecedented thing
so there are two cartoons that came before, so again, unprecedented? Something tells me you just use words to sound hip and cool but when you don't use the word correctly, you come off as a....fake hipster. Some people think, theres nothing worse than a hipster. But a fake hipster is worse, they aren't smart enough to see the difference

31 Minutes in. The grenade launcher could have destroyed the generator. Plus usually spread shot at the direct corner of the reflector tends to just get it first try.

I'll say this, great video, but a couple notes:
• I'm not sure why you had the glitches you did, as i never experienced those when playing, though i played the PS2 version.
• The part with the generators and reflective walls, you seemed to just aim diagonally instead of specifically aiming for the mirrors which would reflect your blasts in a right angle, making them hit the generators much faster.. Seemed like you were just making it harder for yourself there.
• Swimming/Belly sliding mechanics are just awful, that i can fully agree on lol
Everything else seems pretty spot on. I can't remember if the checkpoint at the cutaway happened for me, but it's very likely. Though i didn't really die much in that section from what i recall
I remember I had a choice of either getting Bully, GTA Liberty City Stories and the family guy game for the ps2 for Christmas. You can tell which one I chose 😂

Playing this game, it bothers me how compared to other long running television shows (Spongebob, Simpsons and South Park), Family Guy has never had a good video game adaptation. This game screams low-budget and rushed. The game is funny, but most of the jokes and concepts are ripped from better episodes of the show.
Also this review was very good! You earned a sub.

I have played The Simpsons: The video game, The simpsons road rage and The Simpsons: Hit and Run back in PS2 days
I'm a guilty fan of crass humor so this was pretty much what I'd expect from a Family Guy game. I probably would've liked it but no way my folks were buying it back in the day

She did voice acting in Family Guy before the game. She voiced a lot of one-off characters and provided Meg's singing voice in the episode where her and the Griffins were a traveling family band.
i use to play this all the time on my old ps2 but never got past the Brian mission after the first peter one thank you for giving me a way to see how this game ends lol
It is funny how the first level basically has Stewie brutally murdering a bunch of children.

I expected the chicken for the Anne fight, missed oppertunity

From how it looks and what others have said the debris that hits Peter on the dock looks to be remnants from the rocket Stewie blew up

as many of these games it gets repetitive real fast. just like hit and run. it sells itself as a gta clone but it's just another crazy taxi game except you can get out of the car

I had the PSP than eventually the PS2 version. I never completed the story.
I also had the PSP version when I was a kid. I loved Family Guy so much I forced myself to beat it, and while it wasn’t too bad back then, I found the game much easier to play this time around.
Return to the multiverse or whatever it was called was really good from what I remember
I bought it years ago but I never got around to playing it.
