So it sounds like it's still in the development stages and were in for a bit of a wait [although multiple games are planned].
What the hell have they been the past three and a half years? They’ve barely supported Hitman over the last year so they surely have the majority of the team working on it. But it’d be nice to get SOMETHING.

I’m kinda glad and upset I’m not the only one who felt like that was the end when the credits showed up. I thought there might have been a driving level eventually, or maybe more of Bond’s allies would start showing up in the mind palace (or wherever he is) to help him escape.
Speaking of James Bond video games, I just got the soundtrack for Goldeneye 007 from Enjoy The Ride Records (an American boutique music and media company based in New York). Since they are big into retro music releases, they released the soundtrack album on audio cassette tape instead of a CD. Going to purchase one of those Walkman's that allows you to convert the music into MP3 form, so I can put it on my Ipod to listen to in the near future.
I remember Stephen King in 2000 releasing 'The Plant' as an E-Book in installments but when the readership fell bellow a pre-set level he cancelled the project and the story remains unfinished. I can see that happening here if take up for the game isn't as strong as Apple etc want it to be [and the delay in chapter 3 might hint at that] although I hope I'm wrong.
You'd think King would have had the decency to finish the story before releasing it. Or if he had, releasing the end in one go to reward those who had stayed on.
@@davidjames579 Fellow author Fredrick Forsyth was quite critical of the novel being abandoned at the time [hence his e-book were short stories-later published as 'The Veteran']. King said he earned 1/2 million from it so you'd think he had enough motivation to finish it off!
For a mobile game, I think this looks pretty good. I do have to laugh at how the chapter is described. There is a "The Spy Who Loved Me" Goldeneye mod in development. While it is still in the works, it does offer a Lotus Esprit level, and the Liparus Tanker with plenty of weapons. I do hope they continue the story though, it does feel pretty definitive, even though there seems like so much more.

Agent Under Fire was my first and likely my favorite. That's where I subscribed. I had recently watched a different review of Nightfire, then RUclips eventually brought me here lol!

Absolutely love this game and was thrilled to see the Spy Who Loved Me adapted. I also got the sense that there wasn’t anything more planned outside of a concluding chapter to wrap up the present day story. What I hope happens is that we get a present day chapter where Bond gets captured and we get a few more chapters of film adaptations. Would love to see one of the Dalton films get a chapter.
I also felt 'The spy Who Loved Me' would be a good choice for a Roger Moore game if they'd made a follow up to 'From Russia With Love' [even though 'Moonraker' got the nod for '007 legends'] Nice to see another video game review [be cool to get a livestream of the game one day as I really enjoyed the recent 'Agent Under Fire' and 'Night Fire' ones].

I had the A View To A Kill game for the ZX Spectrum back in the day. I don't remember much about it now but I suspect the graphics have aged about as well as the cgi in DAD.

The last 5 levels felt so unfinished to be honest because i suffered from bugs galore where you sneak around the liparus with the vents in places the guards were switching from red to yellow constantly and just jittering about all over the fucking place constantly they could have at least worked on the glitches before releasing it entirely and i do hope more levels come because they didn’t specify at the end of the spy who loved me levels that they’re making more it just said James bond will return
Have you heard of ' Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris' by Feral Interactive?? They are very similar to how this game is played and you can get them on switch ESHOP or Guardian of Light on IOS and android. Really hope you review the first Tomb Raider movie one day. Not just because of Daniel Craig is in the first but because of how much Britishness and Bond is in the Lara Croft world itself. Especially since the Brand new Aston Martin in 2001 featured in the movie.... mmmm I wonder if EON got the idea from that film to put it in DAD ?? ;) all the best Cavin
I've played several Tomb Raider games but never those ones. From what I've seen, it's indeed a very similar set up to Cypher! Funnily enough I recently bought the Jolie Tomb Raider boxset in preparation for getting around to a review of it someday!
The Tomb Raider films were wild; definitely a case where the first entry is the only one worth watching, but even still I can't believe that in the third film a reboot adapting Tomb Raider 2013, they were planning to use it as the basis of a Square Enix/Eidos Cinematic Universe culminating in a Deus Ex film with Majestic 12 replaced by Trinity. Oh, you think I'm joking?

Sure enough, Yasmin can be found at the Hotel Al Bad Azizi as before, completely unharmed. He sneaks in through the back door, takes a tray of food to hide his face from the kitchen, and follows Yasmin to a side room. He is angry. "How did you escape?" "My Uncle is thee man with thee scar." "Where is Abdulah? And why is he contolling you?". "Abdulah is my father, and my uncle owns thees hotel." "Do you want to get out of here with me?" Finally watch argylle on Apple TV yesterday that you talked about a few months ago odd movie 😂 I still don’t know if I liked it. But one thing I did like Bryce Dallas Howard blond and that gold dress 😍 more than made up for movie she’s very curvy in the movie damn I hope we get a slightly more curvy Bond girl one day.
I think the odd-ness comes from Vaughan having free reign. But that said I was entertained by it, and whisper it it actually reminded me of watching a Hitchcock on-the-run mystery just as a pleasant distraction with some silliness.
They don't want any of that in a game about a fictional agent with a licence to...erm...what was it again? Well, anyway, they also don't want James Bond depicted as a fun escapist hero anymore either. Bond is now a completely derangedpsycho because he's a toxicmasculine whitemanmale! They are systematically distorting and dismantling all of these beloved characters and wokewashing everything.
Sorry, it just seems utterly convoluted and weird. Why does literally everything now have to be some derangedpsychodrama? What happened to just having an established character do their thing, fun, escapist adventure?
I mean, I think the plot is pretty simple. It’s literally just Bond getting brainwashed and having to remember past events to get back control of his body. The whole mind control plot is really just an excuse to adapt old Bond stories rather than some attempt at a gritty psychological drama.
Star Wars has the same problem. 20 years ago they didn't seem to care if your were a Jedi killing Darth Vader in a video game but nowadays it has to lore friendly and you can't even have minor characters suddenly turning evil and killing all the main cast. It really sucks.
Game publisher's are desperate to tap into the game theory market. By making a plot needlessly convoluted and vague they're hoping to encourage online theory videos, thus generating buzz. It's a desperate grab as viral marketing, and it's stupid.
I'm not some anti-woke frothing at the mouth troll, but the whole sleep thing bugs me quite frankly. Where's the jeopardy? Might as well arm Bond and his foe with pillows and custurd pies. Maybe get Q to conceal a fart cushion inside the pillow. Can't we be treated like adults instead, who can choose not to play violent games if My Little Pony is more our cup of tea? Similarly, it really annoys me that in Train Sim World it won't let you have a full on crash, it just pulls you out of the game before your BR Class 43 HST smashes into the buffers at Paddington at 130mph. What? What are you all staring at?

"Where is he now?" "He iz heading with the others to Dakar, using a land route over the desert. And then from there, to Monrovia, to catch a boat to Sout Amereeca". Bond thinks about his options. "How would you like to spend a romantic few days in Casablanca with me?"
The West shoulder of Africa is a lush green area with olive trees, figs and dates, and all kinds of roaming and buzzing wild life. Bond and Yasmin sit at an outdoor bar, chinking glasses together, as the sun dips. The red glow highlights the silhouette of her breasts and her heaving body. They reach out for each other's hands, embrace, and softly kiss, then walk slowly back to their room together, holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes. A piano plays 'As Time Goes By' in the lounge downstairs. Bond: "Here's looking at you, kid." She blushes. Bed scene. The next morning, the duo hire an old truck, and head South toward Dakar. Suddenly they are mistaken for elephant hunters and chased down in the dusty desert, with rifles blazing. One of their tyres is blown, and the pair swap places while driving. Bond tells her to pull over beside an elephant, and he jumps on top of it. Now it is the elephant who is chasing the hunters. One of the trucks crashes through the back of the other vehicle, and stops. Bond jumps from the animals' head, runs down the animals' truck, and then drags the driver out. The other chaser drives away. Bond pulls up next to Yasmin with a new truck. "Come on darling, we're gonna be late for the Fiesta." [Video Game: drive like crazy though Africa being chased by hunters, and riding elephants.]

Finally watch argylle on Apple TV yesterday that you talked about a few months ago odd movie 😂 I still don’t know if I liked it. But one thing I did like Bryce Dallas Howard blond and that gold dress 😍 more than made up for movie she’s very curvy in the movie damn I hope we get a slightly more curvy Bond girl one day.
I think the odd-ness comes from Vaughan having free reign. But that said I was entertained by it, and whisper it it actually reminded me of watching a Hitchcock on-the-run mystery just as a pleasant distraction with some silliness.

Well, anyway, they also don't want James Bond depicted as a fun escapist hero anymore either. Bond is now a completely derangedpsycho because he's a toxicmasculine whitemanmale! They are systematically distorting and dismantling all of these beloved characters and wokewashing everything.
I'm not sure how this works with war games. Are children really supposed to believe that soldiers in combat just tranquelize the enemy?
Apple in particular has been cracking down on that stuff. Although I do remember the Game Boy ports of Splinter Cell also doing that.

Sorry, it just seems utterly convoluted and weird. Why does literally everything now have to be some derangedpsychodrama? What happened to just having an established character do their thing, fun, escapist adventure?
I mean, I think the plot is pretty simple. It’s literally just Bond getting brainwashed and having to remember past events to get back control of his body. The whole mind control plot is really just an excuse to adapt old Bond stories rather than some attempt at a gritty psychological drama.
It's a loose adaptation of Fleming's Man With The Golden Gun novel. Mixed with Bond's Greatest Hits missions.
Star Wars has the same problem. 20 years ago they didn't seem to care if your were a Jedi killing Darth Vader in a video game but nowadays it has to lore friendly and you can't even have minor characters suddenly turning evil and killing all the main cast. It really sucks.

Game publisher's are desperate to tap into the game theory market. By making a plot needlessly convoluted and vague they're hoping to encourage online theory videos, thus generating buzz. It's a desperate grab as viral marketing, and it's stupid.

I'm not some anti-woke frothing at the mouth troll, but the whole sleep thing bugs me quite frankly. Where's the jeopardy? Might as well arm Bond and his foe with pillows and custurd pies. Maybe get Q to conceal a fart cushion inside the pillow. Can't we be treated like adults instead, who can choose not to play violent games if My Little Pony is more our cup of tea?
Similarly, it really annoys me that in Train Sim World it won't let you have a full on crash, it just pulls you out of the game before your BR Class 43 HST smashes into the buffers at Paddington at 130mph. What? What are you all staring at?
