Dude, first time viewer...I'm subscribing ! You're the FIRST person on RUclips I've seen mention what I've been saying for 2 years now about how the Bengals have given the league a "blueprint" as to how to beat mobile QB's. until now I was the ONLY guy talking about how the Bengals have 2 DISCIPLINED DE's who will not only SET but MAINTAIN the edge not allowing the QB to get outside, couple that with the 2 monsters in the middle getting push so the QB can't step up while dropping 8 "all eyes" in coverage and what options doe that QB have ? Basically, throw it away, force a throw for an INT or incompletion or take a sack. No one talks about that. I'm 63, and this defense reminds me so much of the ( undefeated ) 1972 "No Name" Dolphins Defense. A bunch of guys who never got the individual accolades they deserved...they were just super smart and did their job as a unit ! That's a perfect description of this Bengals Defensive unit.
Howdy, I’m glad you uncovered the question of Bengals D for tomorrow. Maybe KC needs to address this today! This Cat DC is effectively customizing game plans for QB playmakers. Is this 1 reason why my NYG boys is not in?
Yeah people forget the last decade of SBs have had teams that got there because they have defenses that matched up well vs elite QBs/offenses. Sometimes it hard to recognize that in the regular season but in January, totally different story.
Really curious to see how the Chiefs O and Bengals D gameplans clash today. I'd expect to see more checkdowns that turn into 5-10 yds, and especially more Pacheco, stud that he is.
As great has Burrow has been in big moments, Big Lou and the Bengals defense are the consistent force that keeps the Bengals pushing against the best of competition. He's helped solve some of the best passing attacks and kept up against the ground and pound tactics of his division rivals. He just knows how to make those adjustments to take away plays from the offense and have the defense be persistent. Best defensive minds have always done those in practice.
I have to take -off my hat to you, you have explained this extremely well for the major fan" let's say and the occasional football watching, if you seen this how is it the Chiefs haven't made adjustments to get out of this, this will be their 4th time they matched up. The Chiefs have to figure out how they could overcome this, PS. That Lou has to be one hell of a chess player!
Didn't the Bengals almost lose to the Ravens back up QB. I'm happy for the Bengals after all the "Bungals years" but the pass Rush is about all the defense has.
@@bryanttisdale2446 More like the Ravens bungled a one possession drive to a goal line checkmate that turned to a defensive TD play and win. Some of the best can be sloppy and live to see another day. See you next year Ravens fans when you wonder how you will move the ball without Lamar.
Hate to criticize but this kind of defense never wins a Super Bowl, it’s so easily exploitable. No chance they can win a Super Bowl with him as d coordinator
I tried to tell eagles fans the bengals had a better defense than the eagles lmao. Lou Anoromo is the best dc in the nfl right now and w@s the only one to consistently slow down Mahomes, at least until the afc championship in 2022
Ben looks like a cocomelon character come to life
luv u Ben ❤
No, he looks like someone who would watch cocomelon.
JJ grew up.
Who is this baby Hitler lookin dude?
Facts 😂
I love every single one of these. Great job Ben!
This guys so underrated

This is a masterclass! Incredible work
Another banger, Ben. Hey Bill, let him do 2 videos a week.
Good stuff bro more
Most underrated coordinator in the league! I’m happy he’s getting his well deserved praise but I’d rather keep him a secret 🤫😂
You are the elite analyst, Ben.

Awesome stuff dude really well done!
How on earth does this only have 350 likes? Is Solak a hidden gem? Has the world not discovered him yet?
Great work, keep the vids coming!
Totally agree on the defense. Qbs get all the credit, but the D is the reason why we are here.

This was phenomenal, great work all around
👏 I LOVED THIS BREAKDOWN! Subscribed.
If Mahomes throws the checkdown to McKinnon all three times it's positive yardage. Same in the AFCCG. Throw it to the checkdown every time.

Protect Ben Solak at all costs.
the literally big Lou...so good
Almost forgot to like the video and tell Ben that I love him. But don't worry, I came back! I love you Ben ❤️
love me some tre hurnndinn
3:00, don’t you mean the “Lou Print”?

Ben, the various graphs you used in your article today are unreadably small, even after you click to open them.
"Aw, I gotta say howdy"🤣🤠
I wish Allen would've rushed more in the divisional round.
That drop 8 coverage is vulnerable to the run.
Didn't the Bengals almost lose to the Ravens back up QB. I'm happy for the Bengals after all the "Bungals years" but the pass Rush is about all the defense has.
Its because Lou is smart to use the 3-3-5 on specific situations based on offensive tendencies.

This was wonderful!!! Whooooo DEYYYYYYY
Well…they didn’t do this.
Hey Trey Hendrickson was good in New Orleans before the Bengals signed him
Hell of a breakdown. It'll be I threshing to see how Fat Andy gane plans differently for this game. Or if he even can.
Why did you describe Bill Belichick as the zippy single line coach when he is the definition of a "game plan" DC. Come on dude
So just drop 8? Wow Mahomes has never seen that
They tried to do it in 2022 but Mahomes has seen it enough now it doesnt slow him down anymore
Trey Flowers**
like they did the last couple years?
How come other teams don't follow the Bengals defense to Stop Mahomes??
Um same way they did the first 3 times!
Nice hair cut
love ben but also want to see him dribble a basketball for personal reasons
i think the Chiefs have the answer this game.
Can’t wait to see Eli apple get burnt
Ben looks like a Mii
Ben can we get your skin care routine pleass
Howdy
if he didnt say howdy id suspect he was a clone

Same
Way they stopped him the last 3 times they’ve played and the same
Way they stopped Allen
U d bescht
And this is why the Bengals won't beat the 49ers.
lol
The 49ers won’t beat the bengals because they won’t even beat the eagles
