As a 5th gen Legacy GT owner I envy that intake sound. I laughed a little during the off-ramp loops at the end and when you talked about the ADD and how it's so easy to zone out when you drive an automatic car, the manual definitely makes the driving experience leaps and bounds more enjoyable and connected. Happy boosting my friend :)
Also Blake, at 4:05, that revmatch downshift and the little pops and crackles from the exhaust always put a smile on my face. I fall for my car every time I drive it.
you all probably dont give a shit but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Kye Sullivan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Hey blake, Loving the videos, Good clear description and excellent how to videos. About the boost gauge. I agree, all turbo cars should come with one. If you are looking for that sweep of an analog check out the digital Evo series by ProSport. They have a digital number at all times and a scale around the outside. They also are dual colored (Red/Blue + others) and you can install a switch, and hook up to your factory dimmer. I did have to install a custom built circuit to do a negative input flip for the control of it, but it turned out great. The amount of light output matches the car dash, and the red color is almost bang on. I have the A Pillar Triple Gauge pod by SMYClusterMaker. I had to install an off switch for nighttime highway driving, its just too bright in your face when your looking for deer in the ditches. Im all pumped up about doing my first power mods. I have a 2010 that just came off the 5yr warranty and have been patiently waiting to go Stage 2. Keep up the god work bro.
Real detailed, clear video, thank you man. My goal is to finance a 09-14 WRX by next year, and first power mod for me will be a Cobb V3, exhaust, and intake. Super excited, and you laid out everything really clear so definitely helped my decision-making lol
Re: your thoughts on spacing out with an automatic. I definitely had that issue and that was the impetus for me to get a manual car. Started with a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 and then switched to a 2012 STI. Haven't had the same issue again.
Totally agree! I went from a manual 1991 VW gti to an econobox auto and my ADD would get the better of me all the time which eventually ended that car sucked around a telephone pole after being surprised by a deer. Now I have a 2011 WRX hatchback MT and I feel way more in the moment whenever I'm driving now.
I LOLed when you kept loopin man, that's the way to enjoy any automobile--just doing what you want and truly enjoying it. It's why you got it in the first place!! Great vid man!!
Great video man thank you. I can see why people say it being so loud can get annoying, but after driving a basic automatic Civic for 8 years I’m so down 😂
A year late but just wanted to say that my 2011 STI sedan is very similar to your car Blake. Cobb sf intake with box, SPT 3" catback and Cobb APV3. Your jet description of the cobb sf intake is on point. It sounds way better vs. the stock airbox with the giant silencer. Also, random note but on my APV3, I always try to get my max boost to 0.69 psi when driving. I've done it twice but I'm immature so it's funny when I do achieve that haha anyways good vid!
ok maybe stupid question, but do you have to leave the accessport connected to the car via cable all the time once you flash the ECU or once its flashed can you disconnect and store it somewhere
+nashpotatoes21 Nope once you flash the car you can keep it somewhere else. But I do recommend you plug it in to see how your car is running and monitor all the gauge features it has.
So I just got my 2014 WRX, it was my dream car. Currently have an AOS and Mishimoto Radiator installed. Would these few mods that you did give you better mileage?
When you installed the intake and cobb accessport are using cobb map or you have E Tune, cause i have both and im getting high numbers fine knock and feedback knock.
Hell yah those Hawkeyes are sweet. I know the sound is so addicting but your gas gage isn't, LOL. I'm glad your liking the video's, I will keep more coming for sure.
Hey man, this may be a very stupid question, but I'm new to this and trying to learn. I bought a '16 STI last year, and just got the Cobb AP, SF Intake, and box for it. I installed it all and flashed the right map, however I'm worried I might of messed something up during installation. Is the spool and sound of the turbo supposed to be SUPER loud? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it, but I'm trying to make sure there's not a leak or anything. Also what gauges would be good to monitor on the AP to ensure there's no issues? The 15/16's already have the boost gauge built in so I won't need that one.
What mount are you using? i have been looking for a similar mount but can only find the center console mount from Cobb. Anyways i had the SF intake on my bugeye and loved the sound.
deepseastetson This is just the mount that came with the Cobb V3 in the box. I changed the double stick tape out about 3 month later because it kept falling off. But I have some grey 3M double sticky tape on it and its stuck to the radio bezel. I love the location and its a pretty solid mount.
hey bud, just wondering if you had an SPT exhaust video for sound and revs? im exhaust hunting right now for my 08 wrx hatch. im just aiming for that deep low rumble without it being too loud in and outside. yours sounds awesome by the way! much appreciated thanks.
Haha! Love it when you went around and around on the freeway ! Came to your channel randomly and I like your channel so far. Helped me out a bunch to see all this your doing on your 2014 subi. I have a 2013 wrx that i love and was a bit scared to try the access port. But watching a normal guy do it, i am going to now. Now I'm confident. And there's not many videos on these years of WRX's. So keep it up! Great job!
I had my Cobb af intake with box for a week now and it sounds nice and the acceleration is good, but today I notice the car lost power and don't drive as normal like its weak and when I press more gas it takes time to speed not like usually
will the dealer check it ? cuz i don't want to mess up something else lol... i reinstall the intake it got better but not like how it was when first i install it it was better acceleration
shahin00751 They will check it but your better off fixing it your self in my opinion. If you have a tune or intake on the car when you take it in they will not warranty the issue because they will blame that using the boost made it pop off. Check out my How to fix a boost leak video and I explain how to fix the issue.
Hey Blake! Nice hatch! Question: How do you go from launch to regular revving? I have the AP but no idea how to switch from one to the other. Tks!!!!!!
I'm assuming that it will be deactivated after launching so to not have the rev limited to that rpm point? Is it in the AP? Sorry don't have it w/ me at the moment. Tks bud!!
Ad Tav yeah once you release the clutch it will rev to limiter 7k. If you want you can setup flat foot shifting just set it 1k below your desired WOT shift point for a nice smooth shift with full boost.
+Blake's Garage I've heard that a lot also..of course K&N says that's an "urban myth" but I'm just wanting what's best for the car.. If I need to lose the K&N filter I will but if you think the stage 1 won't be affected by it, I'll roll the dice. Thanks for the reply.
+Blake's Garage I want to do the cai and access port bad. I want to get some more miles on the car but I know this is going to be one of the first engine mods I do. awesome video.
How were you able to tell you had a boost leak? I know you said it was down on power or at least felt like it, but how did the ap let you know? Did a code pop up or something?
I'll be picking up my 2016 WRX (premium) this week! I'm also having them install the STI short shifter. I found your video because I'm thinking about purchasing Cobb's "COBB Stage 1 + Big SF Power Package - 2015+ WRX 6MT" from Subispeed.com. Did you notice a power increase? Thanks.
+shawnriv9 Yes I did notice a nice increase in power right away. I think I like the ability to monitor how the car is running even more. You can't go wrong with Cobbs products there great.
how come people are saying the cobb tuning has to be done if i do an intake?? they are going as far as saying the engine might blow up? im sure i would get the complete benefits of the tuning but saying the cold air alone could hurt my engine freaks me out...
+Fahad Kay Because the MAF is designed to flow a certin CFM of air past it on the stock tune. If you flow more air with out a tune you will run your car lean and can cause damage to the engine. IE- Ringland or whatever.
Thanks man. Ya I don't think I will launch the car that much. But I think you have to try it at least once, its snowing out where you are so it would less harsh on the driveline components.
Since this video is a couple years old how has the Accessport held up? I’m in a 2014 wrx and on the edge of buying one. How many miles did your WRX have when installing the AP? Did you have any mechanical failures long term after installing it? I’m at 63k miles and worried about stock parts failing sooner after installing the AP? Or is that not an issue?
Hey bro I’ve been watching the old hatch wrx vids I like really like the channel. I’ve noticed you’re in the sac area. I have a wrx hatch myself and was wondering if you work on other peoples cars? I would just love some feedback from someone with the experience. Thank you
Hey Blake. I want to install my COBB SF on my 14' WRX. I didn't get the airbox just yet but wanting to know if it's OK to install it right now for a month until I can afford the airbox. Its in the 40-50 degree range here in Wisconsin. Also will the snorkel stay put without the COBB box? Is this a good idea or should I wait? BTW love the Videos Bro...
Hey +Blake's Garage, in your opinion, would you go for a 09 WRX hatchback with 60k miles? I'm pondering if it's worth it. Also would another 09 WRX sedan with about 70k.
+renarudo1 if you can afford a rebuild then I would think about it. Those years are kinda the ugliest and can be picked up pretty cheap. You just have to think if you want a widebody or not. And I'm sure once you buy an narrow body you will want a widebody.
Mike Jimenez 14-15PSI if you think you have a leak you probably do. Check my video on that. The stock IC to TB hose pops off super easy. I definitely recommend the MishiMoto hose as it will fix the issue. Every WRX EJ engine I’ve looked at usually has a boost leak there and they never even know it.
david hansen Nice! Those new Mustangs look awesome. I drove the 5.0 recently at it was a very nice car. I'm sure that you can squeeze a bunch of power out of that eco boost. Cobb is top notch for there customer support also.
Blake , Whats your thoughts on my situation, I drive a 2013 STI Hatch with cobb intake and nameless muffler delete. I was looking at buying the following: uego wideband, boost gauge, Cobb AP V3, IAG aos, and the Invidia catless down with two bungs....My question is this, So that I can save some money, do you think a uego and boost gauge (AEM) are really worth it if I am just going to be running the Cobb intake and catless down on a stage 2 shelf map from COBB? Thank you in advance ....Also, by just purchasing the Cobb AP and Downpipe and AOS I will be saving a little over $500 in gauges and pods
+Joshua Vell Well immediately take off that cobb intake if you don't have a tune THAT IS BAD NEWS. Get the Accesport first then put the intake back on. DO NOT use the Cobb OTS map with a Catless DP you will need a boost controller and a protune if you go catless or you will have boostcreep issues. I definitely recommend all those parts but the OTS map will not suffice. You will have knock issues and boostcreep. So besides that I would defnitally recommend the Wideband gauge the boost gauge would be good but not necessary with the Accessport pluged in. Hope this helps, please put the stock air box back on I don't want you having issues down the line from running the car lean with the Cobb intake.
Thanks for such quick response, the good news is......the hatch sits in my garage because it is strictly mine not the "family" vehicle. I'm not driving it until I get my tuning done. I have been in communication with a tuner and it looks like I will be using him and NOT shelf maps because of the boost creep concerns and the items you stated above. Regardless, I really enjoy your videos
Nice getting the accessport this Friday, don't have the Cobb intake yet but have a magnaflow cbe. Should I choose high waste gate or normal not sure what to choose. Thanks man.
shawn bryson Start with the normal map check to make sure your hitting target boost. If not I would switch to the HWG map. If your still not hitting target boost check for boost leaks.
I just checked that out seems legit looks really nice, just need a map to support it.I still like my cob however it does get alot of hot air from the engine compartment. I herd from some of the guys at Subaru club meets that the AEM Cold Air Intake Subaru WRX / STI 2008-2014 is super nice also. Just watch out for puddles.
Ya the aem does look nice 2 the winters here in the northeast get crazy tho I'd be a little worried with the wetness, buying a new filter and getting the Cobb intake used on nasioc mite be the route I'll go. Thanks for the info man.
+dwaynejones504 When you install it you will increase your rev limit to 7K with the Cobb flash. It is not manually adjustable in the tuner. You could raise or lower it in the Cobb Tuning software on your computer or have a tuner change it.
good vid man.. i agree with the driving manual keeps you more focused.. i just got a stock 2011 sti sedan 3 days ago and i wanna get the Cobb AP and Cobb intake... other than that i may only do a cat back and some perrin wheel spacers and some cosmetic shit. question tho.. i noticed at high rpm shifting fast in to 2nd grinds sometimes.. Im 29 and have had several sports cars and never really ran into this, especially this new and in great shape... Any ideas on remedy? i was thinking of doing a tranny flush and putting full syn in and seeing if that does it.. the car has 55k on it.. other ppl were saying that these cars cant quite handle the high rpm speed shifting like some cars. any help is appreciated. thanks and thumbs up.
MidWestBrick Awesome man the STI's are so sick. You will love the intake and Cobb tune it sounds so good. On the tranny thing. I used to be able to shift super fast like normal in my car but after a while it seems like its more prone to grind going into gear mostly because of warn syncros. This is most likely the case in your car everyone that buys these cars beats the hell of of them for the most part so I would not be surprised if the previous owner had something to do with this issue. A transmission rebuild may be the best thing in this case. Or maybe keep your foot in the clutch longer, that what I do now from first to second. All wheel drive manual cars do feel a-lot different in the way you disengage the clutch and smoothness of the shifts. Hope this helps.
Blake's Garage damn.. well thanks for the quick reply.. im gonna try the tranny flush and if that doesnt fix the problem ill try what you say and just slow the shift down a bit going in to 2nd.. just sucks cuz it lets me shift quick in all the other gears and shifts like butter when lower rpm... I REALLY hope i dont have to try and battle the warranty thing on rebuilding the tranny : (
MidWestBrick Yeah no problem hopefully that works. But thats how my car is now I had to slow down 1st to 2nd gear shift but all other gears are great, Also downshifting is no issue. But I do have the 5 speed and that trans is not nearly as strong as yours. Someday hopefully I will upgrade to the 6th speed.
Blake's Garage hell yeah, well you got a sub from me man. I'll let you kno if the tranny flush works.. If not, I still have another 4 years of powertrain warranty left ; )
MidWestBrick Hell yeah use that up. You may be able to take it back an see if they will fix it. Did you buy it from a big dealer or Private party? Make sure to check out my seat mod video too cheap mod with great results.
im thinking of buying a wrx this weekend. im from roseville btw. any tips you can give me before getting the car. thanks in advance man. hope we can link up if ever i get it.
Thanks for the feedback and subscribing, glad you liked the video. I will keep more coming. Ya those loops are fun it was the closest turns to my house I could think of.
That’s the %of correction to the idle fueling table. Within 10% is high but fine. Basically the reason to get a protune. OTS maps are garbage. Don’t trust them get a custom tune.
oh shit, been watching you videos for awhile. didnt realized you're in Sacramento. I might have seen you around then. Hopefully see you at the next SubieFlow
Someone please help me! I have a 2002 wrx that is bone stock! ALL I WANT TO DO TO IT PERFORMANCE WISE IS A CATBACK EXHAUST. If I get a catback exhaust on the stock tune, will I blow it up???
Just came from the dealership earlier for an oil change. One of the mechanics that has a 2015 WRX actually told me that if I wanted to run an intake on my 2014 WRX Sedan, I wouldn't have to flash it. He told me his master tech said that. What do you think about that? Should I try it?
+Dre R NO NO NO DO NOT DO THAT!!! On a 15 you fine but I would still recommend a tune. 08-14 no way you will run lean. Do not listen to this guy he has no idea what he's talking about.
+Blake's Garage yeah that's what I was thinking... thanks. By the way, I'm running a K&N air filter on my car just so I won't have to keep replacing the stock air filter. What do ya think?
Dre R You don't want to run that either its bad for the Sensor it will get it all oily. Just run the stock filter or save up and get a intake and accesport. Do not do any mods besides catback on a Subaru with out a tune.
+Dre R Its not something that will hurt you motor right away but over time it will. It messes with the air velocity and the stock map it not calibrated for it. Look it up you will see it is not recommended at all.
thank you blake, those are some of the best videos iv seen. If i was not that in love with my new car i would have a new big love your car is such a beauty - wonderfull does the intake alone bring you more power? i love the psssssshhh sound.....very sexy im thinking to change my air intage filter and my exhaust system for a better and depper sound. I will for sure make a video about it - but it will take some time all my savings are in my new baby keep up with this awesome videos
+Artem V Accesport is a must. Opensource is cheeper but I would highly recommend the accesport to monitor what your car is doing and help diagnose problems.
Wrx boost Wrx Suby This review was Cobb ACN SF+ Stage 1 HWG map. I was not hitting target boost on the normal wastage map so I put on the High Wastegate Map and It then hit target boost also this was after I corrected my boost leak for the second time.
Nice way to spend to a Friday off!! HaHa! Same thoughts on the Cobb boost gauge, love having it but miss an old skool analog sweep! What would be nice is if Cobb would create an update that offers a 'dial style' boost gauge on the tuner......Hmmmmmm might have to throw them an email.
Just Drive That analog would be cool. I would send the an email their great guys. I have today off too and Im editing upside new footage right now stay tuned.
about the manual transmission this is a interesting point you bring up there with the concentration and awareness at the states for sure a much greater, then here in europe - with your gigantic road system Here are the manual shiftet cars in the lead - in the states i think in the minority i love to shift - and will never buy a auto-tran and you can move your car with better control VIVE
__VIVE__ HAHA, I guess it just makes me mad that they make cars that park for you. If you can park you shouldn't drive. I wonder these days if when take your drivers training sessions, if they let you use the computer to park. LOL. So lame.
blake866 yeah thats lame as fuck The people will get so dependent from the modern stuff, in no time they will have lost all their integrity and sovereignty. I meet so much questionable people evry day
I just got mine. Nice review. I got the 2011 sedan sti. Love your review. Keep it up bro.

Ahmad Abdullah Thanks Ahmad. These cars are so much fun. Make sure to check out all my other videos.
checking this video out since I have an 07 MS3 and looking to get the accessport finally after installing several other mods... great video!
***** Yeah man the access port is great to add to your car. So many things you can do with it. Defiantly recommended.
Great video man thank you. I can see why people say it being so loud can get annoying, but after driving a basic automatic Civic for 8 years I’m so down 😂
What are you doing to be able to switch between the 5k revs and then the launch control around 8:22?
+Max Martin Going from neutral to 1st gear with the clutch in.
+Blake's Garage awesome thanks for the info.
When you're just listening to the video and look over and see your hometown. That was a surprise to see. Hope to see you at the sactown subaru meets!
+Air_Fooj Yeah say whats up if you see me.
yoooo sactown is my 2nd home yoooo. shout out from boston blake

+RDFStudios HAHA RIGHT!!!

I have to say I like the sound of the SPT exhaust. Not obnoxious but has a bit more snarl to it than the regular stock.
EJL2004 I definitely agree it's sounds very clean but not annoying.
Wait, I can't remember now, did you keep the SPT when you put the Cobb downpipe on and went "stage 2?"
EJL2004 yeah it was Cobb catted DP with SPT sounded great.
So I just got my 2014 WRX, it was my dream car. Currently have an AOS and Mishimoto Radiator installed. Would these few mods that you did give you better mileage?
Did you get a special tune for the intake and exhaust options? Where did you get it?
When you installed the intake and cobb accessport are using cobb map or you have E Tune, cause i have both and im getting high numbers fine knock and feedback knock.
Love the way it sounds, even just sitting :)
+blake conklin Thanks guy with name thats easy to remember.
Right lol
Really enjoy your vids man, keep them going. I have a 06 wrx with the ap and intake, I'm addicted to the sound loll.
Hell yah those Hawkeyes are sweet. I know the sound is so addicting but your gas gage isn't, LOL. I'm glad your liking the video's, I will keep more coming for sure.
love the freeway driving :)
david hansen Thanks david.

document what you end up doing
+bigmac turd for sure bud. still doing my research, ill see if i even do this change.
+Jorex Grubaru Yeah check out this video ruclips.net/video/ZmOh-yqxIm8/видео.html
What is that area you’re driving in ?
hey blake awesome videos! I have a question, i have a 13' wrx if i do a cobb stage 1 does that void my 6 year warranty?
Depends on the dealer. I would just make sure if you have any engine related warranty claims to make sure you unmarry the accessport.
Haha! Love it when you went around and around on the freeway ! Came to your channel randomly and I like your channel so far. Helped me out a bunch to see all this your doing on your 2014 subi. what map are u running the accessport
Hey Blake! Nice hatch! Question: How do you go from launch to regular revving? I have the AP but no idea how to switch from one to the other. Tks!!!!!!

whats up with the short shifting?
Can I use my current K&N panel air filter with the Stage 1 93 octane map? 2015 WRX
You can with the 15's. I don't recommend K&N Filters however they tend to oil up the MAF Sensor.
+Blake's Garage I've heard that a lot also..of course K&N says that's an "urban myth" but I'm just wanting what's best for the car.. If I need to lose the K&N filter I will but if you think the stage 1 won't be affected by it, I'll roll the dice. Thanks for the reply.
That is also the stock BOV which your running? That sounds really good. wow. can't wait to do this to my STI.
+RDFStudios Yep its the stock BPV. It really does sound amazing!
+Blake's Garage I want to do the cai and access port bad. I want to get some more miles on the car but I know this is going to be one of the first engine mods I do. awesome video.
RDFStudios Thanks man. Yep get that Accessport and CAI its awesome.
How were you able to tell you had a boost leak? I know you said it was down on power or at least felt like it, but how did the ap let you know? Did a code pop up or something?
+Mike Cornejo No CEL's. it felt slow and it wasn't hitting and keeping at the proper boost levels.
Hahahaha the loop part was hilarious! I was cracking up
Four Leaf Clover offramps, just check your local google maps. LOL
I'll have to. I never thought to do that. Looks like so much fun.
Hey Blake I have a 2015 sti just bought a month ago. I was wondering if your car has an after market bypass or bov or if that's stock? Thanks!
That is just the stock BPV. You do not need a BOV at all just an intake and you will get lots of nice noises.
how come people are saying the cobb tuning has to be done if i do an intake?? they are going as far as saying the engine might blow up? im sure i would get the complete benefits of the tuning but saying the cold air alone could hurt my engine freaks me out...
+Fahad Kay Because the MAF is designed to flow a certin CFM of air past it on the stock tune. If you flow more air with out a tune you will run your car lean and can cause damage to the engine. IE- Ringland or whatever.
Sweet video! I'm terrified to launch my car lol. Don't think i ever will haha. But it looks like u know what ur doing so keep up the vids!
Thanks man. Ya I don't think I will launch the car that much. But I think you have to try it at least once, its snowing out where you are so it would less harsh on the driveline components.
Haha ya I'm a newb at it don't really know what I'm doing lol. So if u need vid ideas u should make a vid about that.
Jesse Karns Not a bad Idea, Disclaimer......
It's because launching a basic WRX is about as fun as launching a Nissan minivan full of groceries.
Blew two engines in 60k miles first at 45k rod knock. Second crashed the valves into the pistons due to a timing belt tensioner failure.
@@BlakesGarage Should I be concerned about knock if I upgrade a completely stock 13 hatch to a stage 1 cobb? (access port + intake)
Louise Fontillas yes, definitely.
@@BlakesGarage thanks for your input!
Hey bro I’ve been watching the old hatch wrx vids I like really like the channel. I’ve noticed you’re in the sac area. I have a wrx hatch myself and was wondering if you work on other peoples cars? I would just love some feedback from someone with the experience. Thank you
Yeah I can DM me on IG @blakesgarage let me know what you’re looking to get done.
+Brian Nicholas it will probably bounce around a little but I don't think it will fall off.
Hey thanks for the reply...Got the Airbox and installing it today...
is a cobb tuner for a turbo or can it be installed on a regular 2.5 liter non-turbo?
Why would you lol
what year is that car the ignition looks like its out of a 2002 wrx
2014
thats funny the ignition looks the same even as my ol 98' legacy
Hey +Blake's Garage, in your opinion, would you go for a 09 WRX hatchback with 60k miles? I'm pondering if it's worth it. Also would another 09 WRX sedan with about 70k.
+renarudo1 if you can afford a rebuild then I would think about it. Those years are kinda the ugliest and can be picked up pretty cheap. You just have to think if you want a widebody or not. And I'm sure once you buy an narrow body you will want a widebody.
Hey bro. Do you remember how much boost did you reach with stage one? I think I have a boost leak on my car
Love the way it handles. I had to go with the new mustang 2.3l turbo. I was just seeing how the Cobb works.
david hansen Nice!
Joshua Vell Sweet! Your going to love it when its all stage 2.
Broadway in Sac???
is this only the sound of sf intake without blow of valve ?
+Ahmed Alhammadi Yep this is just the SF intake and Stock BPV sounds amazing.
Sounds good, excited to see how it drives almost at 60k on my 11 hatch had it since I bought it brand new so hoping it's worth it.
Saw grimmspeed came out with a new intake, can't decide between that and Cobb both seem top notch.
Idk I never realized those exits make a continuous loop lol. Gonna have to try that whole covid still has the roads empty.
Is this with the airbox or without? Thank you for this detailed review btw.
+agilee30 With the box! No problem.
awesome. I thought that the box would muffle it. Sounds great.
Very well made video. Great driver as well. Thanks for the info
+Joseph Dervin Thanks Joseph make sure to check out my newer videos.
are you able to change your rev limit with an accessport?
Make sure to check out my seat mod video too cheap mod with great results.
so...whatever happened to this car? How is it holding? Do you still have it?
It’s long gone thank god. Blew two engines and went to BMW’s. I have a M4 now and a Porsche Macan Turbo
im thinking of buying a wrx this weekend. im from roseville btw. any tips you can give me before getting the car. thanks in advance man. hope we can link up if ever i get it.
n1v3k yeah, don't do it. Watch my more recent videos.
alright my brother. watching now. LOL
Great quality video man, sounds beast. Appreciate the info.
PS. Killer loops haha
Thanks for the feedback and subscribing, glad you liked the video. I will keep more coming. Ya those loops are fun it was the closest turns to my house I could think of.
can i use the accessport to tune my car with other intake system or does it all have to be cobb?
Yes you can but only a few are supported for the OTS maps. If you go with a different one you will need a E-tune or Pro-Tune right away.
+Blake's Garage I just bought a 2015 wrx and he put a mishimoto intake. And he doesn't have a accessport and I really doubt he tuned the car
Did you install the intake box also?
+Alex Lopez Yep it has the Cobb box on it.
my 2000 legacy gtb has the same sound and its factory air box. anyone know why??
What boost range should you expect stock?
14.6PSI Definitely check for boost leaks as the TB to Intercooler hose fails in stock form very often.
Did your AF learning 1 ever show you’re running lean on idle?
No
Should be around 14.6
Mine is stating 10% on my 2019 STI with SF intake.... no leaks or nothing but just worried with that number... is it normal?
That’s the %of correction to the idle fueling table. Within 10% is high but fine. Basically the reason to get a protune. OTS maps are garbage. Don’t trust them get a custom tune.
Blake's Garage thank you so much. Ur the greatedt
oh shit, been watching you videos for awhile. didnt realized you're in Sacramento.
Subaru Technica international no you're fine as long as you don't change the downpipe. Catback is the only mod on a Subaru that doesn't need a tune.
+Blake's Garage I ran it for about 12,000 miles now with no problem.. I have only that, and a catback.
+Dre R Its not something that will hurt you motor right away but over time it will. It messes with the air velocity and the stock map it not calibrated for it. Look it up you will see it is not recommended at all.
would the stage 2 fit on a 2019 sti?
Yes but you cant have a down pipe and sf intake with stage 2+ tune without upgrading your fuel system
thank you blake, those are some of the best videos iv seen.
If i was not that in love with my new car i would have a new big love
your car is such a beauty - wonderfull
does the intake alone bring you more power?
i love the psssssshhh sound.....very sexy
im thinking to change my air intage filter and my exhaust system for a better and depper sound. I will for sure make a video about it - but it will take some time
all my savings are in my new baby
keep up with this awesome videos
How's the BMW treating you?
is this possible for auto?
michael decena yes they make an accessport for the newer CVT WRX models.
Liked the video just for taking the continuous loops around the freeway hahaha great time!
Longhornmvp2005 Thanks I love my racetrack.
500th like! Haha, thanks for sharing, looking to get a 2014 hatch and this sounds amazing!
Is it better to get accessport or just a tune after installing intake exhaust and downpipe?
+Artem V Accesport is a must. Opensource is cheeper but I would highly recommend the accesport to monitor what your car is doing and help diagnose problems.
What map
I have today off too and Im editing upside new footage right now stay tuned.
blake866 Kool! Will do
Liking the content!
To be honest. The one thing I hate about my WRX is the tan top interior.... I want it all black or all tan.
Nice beard bro👌🏼
Scratch that Blake. Found the answer. No go on non-turbo.
film a launch from inside the cab...
+bigmac turd Check out my drag racing videos I have a bunch of in car launches in those.
I'm from Elk Grove to lol ..
about the manual transmission this is a interesting point you bring up there
with the concentration and awareness
at the states for sure a much greater, then here in europe - with your gigantic road system
Here are the manual shiftet cars in the lead - in the states i think in the minority
i love to shift - and will never buy a auto-tran
and you can move your car with better control
VIVE
Very true. In the US it is all about how dumb and lazy can I be and still operate a car. LOL
blake866 LOL - so i wouldnt say it - but i thought it
__VIVE__ HAHA, I guess it just makes me mad that they make cars that park for you. If you can park you shouldn't drive. I wonder these days if when take your drivers training sessions, if they let you use the computer to park. LOL. So lame.
blake866 yeah thats lame as fuck
The people will get so dependent from the modern stuff, in no time they will have lost all their integrity and sovereignty.
I meet so much questionable people evry day
Ya if they keep it up we are all just going to be watching youtube, letting google drive us down the road. Big Brother is watching LOL.
Installed at the factory ehhh
Sacramento there!!!
+Mark Javier YEP YEP!!
WHAT UP MAN IM ANTHONY, I HAVE 2015 STI WOULD LIKE TO PICK YOUR BRAIN ABOUT UPGRADES
antdilla100 Yeah Anthony let me know what your thinking about doing.
Hey bro I got a LGT wagon 05 stage 3+ if your curious about mods that make a difference get ahold of me, I’ll be posting videos on my page here soon

+Bakari McCoy HAHA Yeah the Subaru oil company LOL!
My Evo would murder this car.
Zane Fore Cool, You should do some pull videos of it.
