Good luck to both of you ladies with stage 4 cervical cancer. As you know, your chances of surviving your cancer past five years from diagnosis at stage 4, are only 19%. However, that's still thousands of women in that 19% of stage 4 diagnoses who will survive past five years, so why shouldn't you be among them? Also, it's not as bad as it sounds, because those statistics are looking back five years, when treatments were less advanced than they are today. And new treatments are coming down the pike all the time! So stay in the present, you're alive today, that's what matters. Live your life, and take your recommended treatments, and assume the best!

Staging of cancer is just a clinical classification. At no stage you need to worry about death. God has plans for you and at every stage, we have many many survivors around the world. Believe in God and yourself. You are better today than yesterday. Change your diet, take 80-90% fruits and veg, vitamin supplements and exercise. Stop all sugar and reduce carb big time. You are gonna make it and recover well. Be strong my friend, you are in my prayers and I will see you soon healthier and happier and live long. God bless, stay strong and positive.

I don't know how many test have been done as alternate for chemotherapy. Because the medicine term is 5 years survival after diagnosis. How come after diagnosis people are not surviving. Is it the medicine and treatment killing them soon.

In Canada, our publicly funded cancer care is not what you would expect for a western nation. I was shocked at how little the cancer professionals offer, in terms of therapy and in terms of how little support they provide. It’s a sad reality for Canadian cancer patients.
All of my oncology team have no care in me as a person. They meet with you for less than 5 minutes, they don’t ask you how things are going, they don’t care how your home life is affecting you, they don’t ask how you’re eating, sleeping, managing life, etc. They simply do not care. I refuse to believe that they are “trained” not to have a glimpse of human touch in their interactions with their patients. A person will heal a lot better and faster if they feel cared for by their healthcare providers.
Don’t come to Canada for any healthcare.
If I had the funds, I would have gone to Europe for treatment.

We have plenty of stage 4 cancer survivors. One of them is guy tenenbaum. Read his book 'my battle against cancer' in which he explains his journey and what he did to beat his stage 4 cancer. He described precisely his daily diets and supplements. Good luck and God bless.
