Me: How is a Shark a pet? Richard: You know the villain has a shark tank in their office or chamber? Me: Okay, that makes sense. So how many playmats do I need to buy to fund your next fishtank?
Some MTG Lore for you all, Krosa is a forest region on the continent of Otaria on Dominaria. It is a location from Odyssey and Onslaught blocks. What is interesting about the forest is there arent any elves in it, and the dominant species are Centaurs, Nantukos and human druids. The forest is known for its raw primal magic and fierce animals. After Kamahl becomes a druid and starts his hermitage and watches over the Mirari artifact between the two blocks, the Mirari slowly mutates the forest and the animals, leading to things like Krosan Beast
Today in Richard wins the game via draft chaff. Phil misses on an amazing turn 2 storm by not holding jeweled lotus, Crim died with counterspells in hand and Seth drew cards and came second.

Richard at 40:54 calling the World Wildlife Fund “WWE” after the World Wrestling Federation had to become “WWE” so the World Wildlife Fund could be recognized as the only “WWF” was a perfect moment for me
1:20:40 The thing is that modo confuses a lot of players. When you're stacking triggers, you select first the last one you want to resolve. When it comes to replacement effects, if you have multiple, it asks you which one you want to apply first. Since those effects don't use the stack, they all "resolve" in the order you select them, checking after each instance if the replacement effect is valid. In this case, if Phil selects Chatterfang first, the game would make the 4 additional tokens and then Parallel Lives would check if it's still relevant (tokens are still being made) and then would apply its doubling power, making a total of 16. However, if you select Parallel Lives first, then Hermit produces 8 tokens, which Chatterfang would then match in squirrels, making it ALSO 16 tokens. TL;DR: It doesn't matter in this particular case.
Was really hoping Richard would Capsize his own Forest when Chatterfang was attacking to kill it. Would have been a sweet line, but bouncing him worked too
Phil, amazing extra theme win every week. I love it And Richard, don't worry we forgive you and your changeling shark. Its not like tomer playing moonfolk, saying there arent enough moonfolk and then discarding moonfolk in his tribal deck instead of playing them lmao

A lot of people do walk their cats, I see them sometimes. I've tried it with one of mine, it just requires training them to follow at your pace rather than laying down whenever they want. They don't take to it as easily as dogs do but they can like it. And certain bigger breeds of cats kinda need the exercise.
Yeah I've had a cat that was okay with being leashed, but I didn't like it when my roommate took her out because there are people walking their dogs everywhere without leashes in the neighbourhood, which is how kids get attacked by dogs and I fucking hate it.
Richard played ducking excellently today....and his deck was built to perfection...this is the man who tried to kill someone with black lotus combat damage and once again he brings a pile of finest quality of jank to a stunning victory....
I was wondering about and so looking forward to when we'd get Phil on CC, glad we didn't have to wait too long and very glad to see that Brewer's Kitchen style shenanigans followed him over. Great episode! A little sad no one did insect tribal but I'm def not complaining about this one.
@Seth "How does a squirrel kill something?" 1. Natural weapons - fang and claws (note: Tooth and Nail MTG card) 2. Acorn avalanche - a large number of acorns rolling down a mountain. I hope you don't live on or below the mountain. 3. Acorn barrage - a large number of squirrels throwing acorns. 4. Disease spreader - squirrels belong to rodents and they're disease carriers 5. EVOLUTION - see Krosan Beast. Now imagine a squirrel using pokemon's iron tail move-evolution is scary. 6. Magic - details not necessary.
Fun Fact: There is at least one squirrel that Phil was missing from his deck, and that is Helica Glider, a 2{W} 2/2 nightmare squirrel. Why there is a squirrel in white, which is also a nightmare, which also has either flying or first strike… I’m not quite sure. But it does exist.
At this point, I feel like the editor is the 5th member of commander clash (now that Tomer's fired again). I really enjoy the side commentary and occasional jabs they take at the cast. As a child of VH1's "pop-up-videos" I personally would enjoy more liberties and freedoms taken by the editor to have fun.
Richard, YES!!! deer can be such pests. My wife and I were visiting my parents, and a deer walked into their back yard next to one of the rose bushes my wife had planted there, it looked directly at her, and intentionally bit off all the rose buds. all while staring at her. deer are pests.

What a wasted chance by Phil! Why did he play the lotus and chatterfang on his first turn? He had such a nut draw! First turn play a land and pass. Second turn play land, Lotus, sack Lotus and play Chatterfang, play Wild Groth on your untapped land and cast Chatterstorm for 4 tokens and 4 more tokens through Chatterfang!
I would LOVE to see a Commander Clash where the crew are forced out of decks they typically play. Crim wouldn't be able to play blue or black (because he plays one of those every week), Phil would have to have someone brew his deck for him, Richard would have to play a legit tribe, and Seth would have to play control
Phil wasted his jeweled lotus play in the first turn to get chatterfang out turn one. Optimally he should have played a land and passed, then next turn he could have played his second land, played wild growth targeting his other land, then jeweled lotus, and chatterfang, and then after that the chatterstorm in his hand with a storm count of 4 for a grand total of eight squirrels and chatterfang himself on turn 2. Yet i get the appeal of a turn 1 commander, and so long as the game was fun for everyone that's really all that matters, good content regardless you guys.
the reason you dont see more cats going on walks is dog owners dont like cat owners and will let the dog near the cats and the cats feel trapped and very tense
Instead of sharks, should have been elephants! I remember playing my mtgo elephant budget deck that I got probably from Seth years ago. My opponents just laugh because they are playing higher tiered decks while I’m just casting 3/3 elephants. 😂
All dogs like walks but only some cats like walks and only some of those cats will put up with leashes. If you find that combination in a cat they will gladly walk with you just like a dog.
Richard: Seth, cast your boardwipe and in exchange I will give you nothing (Richard casts a capsize WITH buyback that only favours Richard). Seth: Yes boss!! Then Richard plays the sharknado, leaving no mana up (and Capsize still on hand), and Seth doesnt immediately gets rid of it, He waits until Richard puts some FLYING shark tokens, and oh well oh well... Richard wins with the flying shark tokens and the capsize. Crim ACTUALLY gives Seth a creature... Seth kills Crim with such creature. This is getting more annoying every week.
I realize it wouldn't make a great commander, however I am very upset that you forgot about Isamaru, Hound of Konda. A perfectly good LEGENDARY dog boy. Tch. No legendary dogs indeed

Yeah, having a shark as a pet is great in both direction and magnitude
I thinkt it's more than four playmats.
