    I've written before but I wanted to write again because I've noticed something about my shaver. First off, it's not enough to make me want to stop using it. I love my Groomie Baldie Pro. The thing I've noticed is my time on the charge doesn't match the length of my shave. For example, this morning, I had 22 minutes left of the charge and my shave took 3 minutes. When I was done, I had 12 minutes left on the charge. Like I said, I'm not switching, I was just wondering if you or anyone else had experienced this. Thanks!!

      Yep, mine has been acting similar, it's a shame because I enjoyed that feature greatly but the numbers on the display have become wildly inaccurate for me to. The LCD battery indicator being a minutes number is going to be incredibly difficult to get right due to the size and quality of battery and bms inside, but latley, I've had longer shaves report to be 2 mins, and short shave touch ups also report to be 3 mins and similar remaining issues as well. I start fully charging mine now when it says anything around 30 remaining now just to be safe!

    I got one a month ago so ive used it maybe seven times. it cuts so close to the scalp meaning of course I shave even less now because my starting growth point is zero hair. but its quiet and doesnt let a single drop of hair fall anywhere. super easy to clean and the battery and the battery indicator are perfect. its an insane invention. buy it.

    Excellent review. That magnet feature is a no Brainerd. Seems so much easier/better than the freebird style of pinching and prying each blade. Middle blade removal was a pain in Arse. Just ordered the Groomie. Thanks for review.

      this is one of those products that im actually debating making another video on its just that good. I left my hair to grow out for about 6 days, it was thick, (where i have hair left lol) and my shave time was still under 3 minutes including full cleanup! the magnetic attachment is really the game changer, you wont be sorry with this one!!!

    I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how much I enjoyed your review of the Groomie Baldie Pro. My wife got it for me as a surprise. I just recently turned 60 and for the last 30 years or so, I shaved my head with shaving cream and a razor, so it was like teaching an old dog new tricks. It took a couple of weeks for me to master it. Your review helped. I told my wife that I have a good product, I just need to learn how to use it effectively. Now, I'll never use anything else. Thanks!!
    Mike

      Love to hear this mike! it is a wonderful product but a small correction from my initial review, you will need to replace the blades every so often. I didn't think this would be the case for foil blades, but due to the power and the mechanism they do need switching out after about 60-80 full head shaves, The cheapest option to do this is via a groomie blade subscription, however they can be bought individually from amazon on demand!

      @@YoukayTV I was telling my wife just last night about needing new blades. I only shave my head every three days which is just 10 times a month so I won't be ready for new blades until hopefully December, lol.

    My identical twin brother has the Free Bird with all the bells and whistles. Shortly after he got it he found out about the Groomie BaldiePro. He said he is now jealous of my head shaver lol.

      haha, the freebird is ok, the groomie baldiepro is another level. especially when you use their products too, i've been using their pre and post shave stuff and its so, so nice lol

      No idea why, the reviews are mostly very positive, including my own. Amazon do make it pretty easy to return for just about any reason though. 🤷‍♂️

    wonder how it compares to the freebird pro version, seems like the freebird pro has fixed a lot of people issues.

    • @YoukayTV
      @YoukayTV  19 дней назад +1

      I tried to reach out and see if i could snag one to compare against the groomie but didn't hear anything back. SIlly to spend money on this, or even the new manscaped head shaver (which seems to have borrowed a lot of the tech in the groomie) when the baldie pro works just so well for me lol.
      I may buy one to test once this chan gets monetized in the future, stay tuned and thanks for the comment! 👍

    • @joevsyou
      @joevsyou 19 дней назад

      @YoukayTV the manscape one is stupid price... I bought their original product the lawnmower twice & love them. But for $130+ while every single other brand is $99 or less, it is a really silly decision. I think the brand has grown too much & they rather look like a "premium" brand instead.
      The groomie & the freebird pro seems to be about the same price. But yah I can't find any videos on the freebird pro... which is weird with how much they advertise.
      From what I could tell? It came out 2 months ago. I wonder if they they want to make sure any kinks are out before pushing? Just a wild guess.
      I wish you luck on your youtube journey

      Hey marco thanks for the comment!! yea, it would have been so much better had i used it but while it does catch 95% of hair, like most shaving stuff it does make a bit of a mess and I really didnt want that around my camera and audio equipment lol, maybe i'll update the video with some broll of it working!

    Mine worked extremely well for 5mos...then started doing wierd things...display not illuminating...would not turn on...when it would work after two days "resting" on counter it wouldn't shut off! Now it comes on in the middle of the night and runs till battery dies..as i type this it is on the counter charging and won't shut off!! They just want the blade subscription and to sell their OVERPRICED shaving products!!! Buy another brand...or buy just the shaver with blade subscription only and buy a new one every 4 mos. NO RESPONSE FROM GROOMIE after several attemps to contact!
