Thanks so much for this! It sounds like a pretty low cost of living and I believe I can manage it on an average teaching salary there. This made me so confident in going.
Honestly, R9000 for all that you mentioned is like a dream in SA. The cost of living is really low in Thailand compared to SA (for working class people) and there is more value for money there. It's surprising. I saw many teaching posts offering like 40k baht and when I made the conversion to Rand, I saw that it is more or less what I make here and so I thought, "hay ngiya robheka mos." Places like Hong Kong, Korea, China and Japan are offerring 30k+ in Rand. But their cost of living is high AF.
This video just gave me good context and I watched your apartment tour, the fact that you have such an apartment from that much is surprising, when it's compared to the Rand.
This is nice. Love that I just bumbed to your video and I immediately know ukuthi ngizonamathela kule channel😍

Hi sis, thanks so much for the videos. They're very insightful 🌻🌻Would you consider doing a grocery haul or filming how much essentials cost in the shop? And maybe getting information from your friends who got jobs while in SA as to how they went about it please
I’ll do this at some point. Probably during summer Holidays (April). And you apply for jobs on Ajarn. Also Eduplus is an agency that helps you find jobs. But they will most probably advise you to get here first and then contact them once you’ve done so. But always worth a try
@@ugugundlovu so would you say moving therr and looking for job while you there is much better than searching from SA? Im a teacher, how's that market currently?
Please check out my video on Teaching English in Thailand during Covid-19, it covers everything. Also mentions peak times to come to Thailand

Requirements for teacher in Thailand as non native teacher?
Can we earn extra money by doing home tuition or tutoring?
Hey I watched your other video on how to move to thailand. You mentioned a way around a round trip ticket. Can you explain how you can do that?
Make a reservation for return with another airline, different from the one you’ll use to fly over. They can’t verify whether you paid for it or not when you give them your “return ticket” itinerary
Hi Sisi, I'm a interested to move to Thailand as teache, I have contacted OVC for assistance, is they any other way I can do this besides going Tru an agent, how did move to Thailand.
6500 baht in usd is around 190 😭 that’s so cheap to me
I’m here dividing the costs in half, so it’s not that bad.
It’s not bad at all baby!
was wondering where my crush disappeared to
😂😂 right here
Can u do a apartments tour
Did one on the channel
I wish you guys can get to the point. The first 60 should be audience grabbing not randomly rambling
Or you can just start your own channel and do what you like there. I have successfully built an audience anyway, while “rambling”. So yah, anyway thanks for passing by, BYE!!
hi mama .. did u have to verify ur degree with SAQA and apostile it ?? 😭😭😭
Hi mami. Yes so SAQA, DIRCO and then bThai embassy
How long does that process take?
Depends on the situation at the time. When I was in SA it took about 4-5 weeks. Now there seems to be delays in most departments so it could take even longer. I think Dirco alone is said to take 3-4weeks nowadays
@@ugugundlovu thank you Gugz, let me get to it the.looking forward to meeting you once im therr
All the best @Judith, see you on the flipside
Can someone teach other subjects in Thailand as a teacher?
Hope is not English alone that is available for foreigners!
Any video on how to migrate as a teacher to Thailand.
Thank you.
I did a video on coming to Thailand as a teacher during Covid 19, check it out. ruclips.net/video/Vkf9um5S9Tk/видео.html and yes you can totally teach more than English in Thailand
Basically cost of living is very low
I don’t think very low is quite the statement, but when you look at the cost of living versus salary, you have a fair amount left over, which is the goal
@@ugugundlovu but you can't even rent a house with R2500 in SA, mainly comparing such, made me say it's low. As a visit with foreign currency, it's a bargain
