Loft Bed - Murphy Bed Combined

- This project was primarily crafted using second-hand particleboard found on the street, along with purchased structural timbers for overall structure. When my friend saw my loft bed, he asked me to build one for him as well. Initially hesitant, the first design sketch sparked two unique ideas that I couldn't resist. The first was to make it foldable, and the second was to utilize discarded wood found on the streets for the project-an idea that I found both fantastic and very innovative.
I had never seen anything like this before, and incorporating discarded wood not only adds a unique and eco-friendly touch but also contributes to waste reduction. Additionally, the concept of making it foldable enhances the design's practicality and versatility.
The discarded wood used for this loft bed was in excellent condition, originating from office materials such as desks, closets, and drawers. These materials were no longer needed by an office that sought to renew its furniture and dispose of the old items. I seized the opportunity, borrowed a van, and transported as much as I could to my friend's apartment.
Not only did I build this unique foldable loft bed, but I also crafted a closet with drawers, a TV setup shaped like a diamond, and a complete kitchen, all using entirely discarded wood. After editing, I will upload videos of these projects as well.
