David Hill Most reviewers depend on revenue from affiliate links to supplement their RUclips income. So a channel specifically dedicated to junk they DON’T recommend isn’t a good use of their time. And once you start openly bashing people’s products they will quickly stop sending free samples.
That’s why those channels are rare and pretty cringy.

As you're doing your testing, I used a very similar phone mount that held the phone great, but when running Waze on my Samsung Note 5 it would not add charge, only maintain whatever the charge was, at best. Sometimes it would still allow a slight drain. This was with Waze running and the display on constantly. Hopefully, that induction charging is better on the newer model. That looks like a really nice setup, especially the sunglass bucket!
The need for that phone holder just for the driver to see their notifications can be resolved if Elon's Technical Team would implement a proof of concept similar to both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Both will display your text message notifications on the center console dash.
Sunil Sidhwani The concept is already proven to be feasible and desirable by drivers. Tesla, however, is using an abundance of caution to not implement any non-navigational features that could be construed as distracting. Checking notifications would logically lead drivers to respond and take their eyes off the road. Unfortunately every Tesla accident is a news story so they decided not to risk bad PR - just wait till the ride is over to check those notifications.

Hey Brian, I’m 6’4”... was wondering how much legroom is left behind the drivers seat when set in your driving position? Is there enough room for the kids in the back? It’ll be a deciding factor on whether or not I purchase.

I don't have a model 3 or Y at the moment, although I'm looking forward to owning one sooner or later.
Since one of the things I will be missing the most will be a display in front of me such a gauge cluster behind the steering wheel, it would be interesting to have an accessory to install the phone right behind the wheel, so that you can choose if to display the speed or other information ... I would definitely buy one!
After driving for a while you won't miss the gauge cluster.

I bought and returned the topfit phone mount through Amazon for my Y. Looks like they made some design changes if it came with USB-C. Mine came with a mini-usb port. The wireless charger doesn't work with my iPhone 11 Pro Max and then when i took the screen mount off it scratched the paint off one corner of the monitor. Plus I think it just clutters up the aesthetics of the car view especially with a big phone.

Sunglass holder is overkill. Aside from you not able to wear your sunglasses after they get cooked by the sun. The holder is cool but I just don't want to slide anything on my screen.. I wish there was a better way to attach. Getting the cup holder for sure. Thanks for the video Brian.

Phone mount work with galaxy note20 ultra in big otterbox case?
I don't see the point of a phone mount in a tesla. The point of phone mounts is to replace the cars default navigation system and in cars with awful system it makes sense, but tesla does not have a awful GPS system

Hi Brian, hope ask is well! I really enjoyed the videos that you put out. I'd like to get your opinion on the seal between the windshield glass and the two top falcon door glasses - the seal is worn out and peeled off in some areas, but it hasn't leaked water yet. Tesla said that the two falcon door glasses need to be replaced also because the seal is part of it, and it will cost over 23k. It seems to be a design flaw to me! It's like saying that I need to replace my house window if the weather strip goes bad. Do you have any suggestion?

Question: does the mount interfere with the gear selector? How awkward is it? I tried a similar setup using RAM mounts and found it got in the way. Is that the case here?

Question: The Safe Jack stands - what's the floor jack that you use? I found that some floor jacks are not low enough with the height of the Safe Jack stand on it. Or the front of the floor jack (wheels) are too wide to put on the Safe Jack stand legs.

Robert M If by MCU in dash you are referring to video while driving it’s a legal compliance issue. Many states forbid this activity so Tesla can’t offer it. Same reason front door windows on Model Y aren’t tinted from factory - their sales in some states would be prohibited.

Joel 0078 The same shape headrest with memory foam is only $20 on Amazon. I have a long commute and it has completely relieved my neck pain due to lack of support and adjustment on my M3. Highly recommended
