I don't know how to describe it, but for 11 long years I tried to find a game from my childhood and never managed to, but with your video I finally found it. The game is Battle Cross. Thank you very much.
Are you people really gonna bring up the legality of collecting roms for a dead system? Really? The snes is a 29 year old system. The only people making money off these old games are collectors/sellers of the original cartridges. Though I’m sure everyone is just trolling in here. But ya never know.
Looking at Go Go Ackman like is that Trunks from DBZ. Looks up Go Go Ackman, is the main character in another of Akira Toriyama's works of the same name. Guess i'm gonna go read the manga for that
Fun fact about Brandish! The protagonist of this game "Varik" was used as the protagonist of the infamous Earthbound Halloween Hack made by the one and only Toby Fox! Varik's design seems to have also inspired Kris' dark world design
Great list!!! Some of my all time favourites such as Sky Blazer, Soldiers of Fortune and more....but many games I never heard of....a TRUE hidden gem compilation I might say... And...being a fan of the game 'Zombies' I was pleasantly shocked to see that there's a hidden sequel ....Ghoul Patrol....never heard of that one before...
Just finished seeing this on your channel. Thanks for recommending it!! Awesome video and definitely searching for some of these games now to buy. Cheers!
Great list. I have only played like 70~80% of this xD I woud like to add some of my list: actraiser 1,2, Ogre battle, Alcahest, Lodoss-tou senki, Romancing SaGa 1,2,3, Pocky Rocky 1,2, Shiren the wanderer, Jutei senki, First Queen, SD Gundam Power Formation Puzzle, The Great Battle IV, Ganbare Goemon 3, Yaiba
Thanks! If you're someone who has played 70-80% of these games, then you are someone who knows your stuff and I am flattered you like it! I love your suggested titles - many of them will make it into my next SFC/SNES video!
I like this list a lot. I know most of them but I've been playing and games looking for "hidden gems" since I was a teen in the early 2000s. Very good picks and actually less known games.
Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Henry Cannon I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Wow someone else who knows about "On the ball"! That's such an addictive puzzle game for a guy who barely likes puzzle games here. I first played it back in the early 90s on a friend's super Famicom that had a pirated floppy disk system with hundreds of games attached to it. No mention of super valis IV? That's one of my favorite SNES hidden gems. It's not perfect but it has good graphics, nice cutscenes and an amazing soundtrack. I highly recommend it.
I already played sky blazer, b.o.b., brain lord, utopia, front mission, gemfire, sparkster, nosferatu, mechwarrior, cybernator, rendering ranger r2, maju ouu, king arthur's world, and others I do not even remember. I know basically 80% of the games
I love Battle Cars, Bike Mice From Mars, Cybernator, The Firemen, Goof Troop, Space Megaforce and Super Earth Defence Force for my childhood and how to remember these great games in SNES emulator for my old windows.
Great list! I didn't know some of them and they look awesome. I'm missing two though; Front Mission: Gun Hazzard (sort of a sequel/spin off of the "Front Mission" game featured here with different mechanics) and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
Super Family Tennis was released in Europe with the name Smash Tennis. ps: I'm admin of a group in Facebook, called SNESREVWC. We make tournaments of SNES online (emulator + Hamachi). We already made tournaments of Dossun Ganseki Battle, SD F1, Megaman Soccer, Power Rangers Fighting Edition, and many others ;)
I could'nt find game which I played on Nintendo in mid 90's. The main charachter looks like Ganbare and he has various weapons like arrows, fireball, ice arrows. and this game has many stages like Ice stage , Fire Stage. If someone could help me , I'll apreciatte that
Played a bunch of these recently and it's very interesting how games that look or sound good (Space Megaforce; Wings 2, Indiana Jones) aren't really all that fun and are high on frustration factor, and some real obscure knock-off looking games are a ton of fun.
I'm searching for a game I used to play, its a 2d platformer the first mission you play as a man wearing a suit and a hat and you have a gun, and the second mission you play as a samurai with a sword, if any one knows its name please tell me
i really hope someone can maybe help me find the name of this game. it was a game where the first level you start of in like this mansion type place. you are a kid and you escape the mansion/big house, i totally forgot the name of the game but i used to play it when i was small.
Absolute brilliant collection. It's so hard to find really original concepted games for those consoles. So many generic garbage. Who needs the 200th fighting game or another mediocre platformer? ❤
44. i played a game similar to that and I think the characters are mostly from a TV show Kero Kero Keroppi if I'm not mistaken. It was one of the best game I've played as a kid
What is the name of that game in the thumbnail with two transformer looking guys fighting? I think that's a game that I never would have thought of again if I didn't see this video. I watched the whole video, but maybe I missed that one.
u missed SD gundam power formation puzzle, its also a good game. and so many fun games, especially: battle cross Battle Cars magical pop'n they are my fav.
Do you want the kid that owned a Sega Genesis, but also played with both the NES and SNES with her friends and cousin, to answer your question? The SNES bruh. Hands down.
Sad to see "Lufia II" among "lesser known / hidden gems" In my opinion it's one of the top 3 RPG's of the system, along with Chrono Trigger and Terranigma
I really recommend Skyblazer (an amazing 2d sidescroller with tight controls and fun powers to mess with and a very agile protagonist its a short but very fun game), Terranigma (an action rpg with top down view with preety cool story and a great moveset to slay the many bosses and creatures you may find in your quest to revive the world), Sonic blastman 2 (a regular beat em up but a preety good one at that if you like beat em ups like final fight you should like this one), pirates of dark water (the same as sonic blast man but with pirates that's always good right?), B.O.B (i haven't played this one in a while but i remember it to be a slow sidescroller shooter with a puzzle element and a nice comedy element b.o.b is a cute game with a cute robot to get a smile out of you always), Biker Mice From Mars (a preety good racing game that strays from the mario kart formula of camera in the back preety fun game), Goof Troop (great puzzle game to play with a friend ok one to play alone still a recomended one), Lufia (i played this one for a little bit so i don't remember much but its a good rpg if you want to try something that's not final fantasy), power rangers fighting edition (FIGHTING GIANT MEGAZORDS WHAT ELSE CAN YOU WANT!?!?!), Gundam wing endless duel (FIGHTING GIANT GUNDAMS WHAT ELSE CAN YOU WANT?!?!?! preety similar to the power rangers one being that its the same developer team but gundam wing is more polished being faster and with better moves in general still recomend power rangers if you like slower fighters if you like faster ones go with gundam win) and any other that looked good to you and i DON'T recommend Kid klown (its... its just not great) and Equinox (stay away from this game unless you are in for a very surreal hard as crap and boring yet somehow interesting experience all i can say is it scared me as a kid xD i kinda recommend this one just for the weirdness of it, its not a good game though in my personal opinion)
Help. I'm lockedown and I've got a plethora of games to play. Then there's you, MJR and SNES Drunk to choose from. What a beautiful time to be alive. Stay safe everyone. Jah bless
What??? No Star Ocean and Tales of Phantasia?? Two of the best games on the SNES. Both games pushes the limits of the console, and have an amazing story.
I think they're not really underrated since they came from well known franchise, i could go with Der Langrisser, Ys, Arcana, Majin tensei, any super robo war, Doraemon 4 xD
Cybernator is a version of Assault Suits Valken with several story elements removed (including character portraits that show who is saying what.) Metal Warriors... well, came from the same developers that did Zombies Ate My Neighbors, so it holds its own.
I have Super Aleste (Space Megaforce)... you really should mention alternate titles for the games that have them. Super Aleste is much cheaper than Space Megaforce.

i love how Go Go Ackman is just chibi Trunks xD
Well observed, it is one of the game illustrated by Akira Toriyama.
A video with some games Ive not seen at last! Nice one cheers!
Love coming back and watching these. Pure nostalgia. :)
Thanks for posting this compilation, this helped me find Ganbare Goemon 2!
Great video. Thanks for adding the names of the games to the description too!
Bro, I found all lot of games that I always wanted know the name...
Thank you, my childhood is here.

OMG! Terranigma! I love this game in my childhood!

The Power Rangers games were definitely a favorite of mine, I rented them all the time.

2020: Nope!
Terranigma the best RPG game
Nice list bro, I really like your videos :)
Thanks for watching! :D
Gundam Wing was so damn good! It was so fast paced with the dashes and air combos. Later on Marvel Super Heroes made that fight system more popular.
THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHH I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND ARDY LIGHTFOOT BC I FORGOT IT AND ITS BEEN MY CHILDHOOD GAME AND I STILL LOVE IT
if you have lufia and terranigma on this list, your list is a true gem! well done sir!
Technically, I have Lufia II, not the first Lufia on this list. Does that still count? If so, thanks :)
@@GaryRetroGamer of course It counts!! 👏🏽
