  • This review is for the brand new JMGO N1S Ultra 4K Triple Laser projector with Google TV and pre installed, native Netflix. This is a 3000 lumens long throw projector that may quite likely be the best projector ever made in this reviewers opinion.
    The pixels you see in the third part of the video when projecting on screen are not the projector and it's image but are the side effect of the camera...
    This is a collaborative in which JMGO provided the N1S Ultra for me to review but have no control over my review itself or my opinion of said projector...thanks for watching.
    Such a huge thanks to the JMGO team for this great honor of being able to review in my opinion, the greatest lifestyle projector ever made at any price point and quite possibly the greatest projector period.

      Thanks for watching! Lack of DV is very disappointing but with the addition of an HDFURY you can have LLDV. I get that it isn't the same and especially because the chip they use has the ability to do DV and the higher lumens just make sense to take advantage of it but it is what it is. In the end the color and contrast is so far beyond anything I have ever seen that the lack of DV is more of a shame than it is a deal breaker. Please keep me informed with regards to your C2 Pro and its contrast as that is the common complaint if any about the C line.

    Seems strange that I can't find this model on the JMGO website. They have an N1s but that's only 1080p. The only full 4k one they have is the N1 Ultra 🤔

    Thank you for a nice impression video. Would you consider a comparison for video and audio against n1 ultra?
    I was holding my breath on purchasing n1 ultra about a month ago, since I realized n1s ultra is coming soon.
    Google TV is nice to have, but not so much if it's much more expensive.
    So the brightness seems the only meaningful upgrade here, and I do care that. Brightness is one of the major reasons why I was considering n1 ultra among the lifestyle projectors.
    If this new version is not so much brighter, then I guess I will choose n1 ultra, or... something else!
    Haha, again, thanks for the super early impression video. Cheers.

      @OlyGoalie67  24 дня назад +2

      First off, thanks for watching, I appreciate that very much. As far as comparison videos, the N1S is definitely a better projector as it just isn't brightness but also the Google TV is much more stable than the android 11 with almost no jitter on the OS. There are also nicer features like a brightness control in the picture settings which the N1 did not have. The added ability of having the projector turn on to last input versus always having to select HDMI1 for those who use streaming devices such as Apple TVs etc. also, native Netflix for those who don't want to add a streamer is a big plus. Lastly, and I know there are more things I am forgetting is improved audio quality which is also definitely more noticeable as well. Would I spend a few hundred dollars more off of retail to get the N1S, yes I would, if I could get an N1 for considerably cheaper then I would likely go with the N1...I hope that helps.

      Thanks for watching, I am using the Elite Screens A8k Accoustic transparent screen and it is spectacular with zero laser speckle. 3d is mind twisting as the extra 30% brightness makes the 3d that was already spectacular on the N1 even better on the N1S, such amazing depth, better than the Epson 5050UB which used to be my favorite 3d before the JMGOs.

    Oly, the N1 Ultra is really 2000 ANSI lumens when converted from the 2200 CVIA lumens measure they claim , so there’s a 1000 lumens difference in the new N1S Ultra, it should be noticeable ! Or isn’t not? You should do a comparison video.

    Hey Oly,
    Aha! So This is the big reveal you were hinting at for June! Congrats to you for your relationship with JMGO. I am still enjoying my JMGO N1 1080p ,but after waiting so long to finally make my purchase, I can't help but be disappointed that the N1S version was released just a little over a month later. Grrrr. I still love it. I'm was still holding out on the 4K version to see what the next version of the N1 Ultra 4K would feature. From your review of the features here's what I'm disappointed about.
    1. JMGO still hasn't added Dolby Vision?!!. What in the world are they thinking ?. Boooooooo!!
    2. Still no Optical Zoom. Booooooooo!
    I still dont really know what the advantage is of having Google TV versus the Android OS installed on the N1.
    I hope this is a beta prototype with more features to come. They dont have any new specs for this on their website for the N1S Ultra yet.
    Thanks for another great video, Oly!

      @OlyGoalie67  24 дня назад +1

      Thanks Bruce and for watching buddy, I am grateful. I am not going to say I was also disappointed in the fact that we are still not seeing DV on this projector. Again, based on the image quality and the fact that you can add a used HDFURY to allow for Low Latency Dolby Vision, I am ok with it. I was watching Dune 2 last night and wow, what a visual feast. The image from this new N1S is, well as I said in the video, incredible. When I first turned on the N1 I thought to myself I don't know how it could get better but they pulled it off. Brighter image, better audio and the added benefit of a stable OS with native Netflix making this truly a portable lifestyle projector but even more so, the best one to shine in my home theatre room.

    • @OlyGoalie67
      @OlyGoalie67  24 дня назад +2

      It is pretty nice having the Google TV being stable versus the Android 11 and optical zoom would be amazing but I am certain this would reduce the space internally and would likely affect the light path and its ability to produce the color and contrast this beast puts out.

      @@OlyGoalie67 Rob from "TheHookup" channel, gave high ratings for JMGO's image compared to Hisense C1's DV image. I could image that the JMGO's New N1S Ultra 4K being more than satisfactory. I will consider the HD Fury if necessary. Since the 4K version will be my final purchase for awhile, I will still do my "holdout" thing until I can see the reviews on the Hisense C2 and XGIMI Horizon Max slated to be released in the next few months. Both expected to have IMAX enhanced feature, DV and Optical Zoom. I mentioned to you that I a have the long throw situation that requires that I use allot of digital zoom. Still very nice image.
