I think Vanuatu is already part of a continent - the submerged continent, Zealandia.

@@brettmoore3194 On maps without the ocean, you can still see where massive rivers ran on Zealandia during the last ones - look east of Kaikoura (ie. go right at the top of the South Island, and down a bit)
