That’s a sick set up Lubin it’s given me some great ideas as my boat is pretty much the same but it’s awesome to see how you change it for camping that’s what I’m missing cheers mate very helpful
Good on ya mate nice rundown, just got to say love the double barrel downpipes into the water tank 🎉 and hope you did that big load of towels on the hillshoist man’s work is never done hey.🍻
Renegades are a great versatile all-rounder boat. Looks like you have a great setup and I love how everything is interchangeable and removable. Looking forward to seeing your video of your punt. I have a renegade also but also looking to get a punt so very keen to see your setup on that boat
Handy thing to have mate, opens up a lot of spots where launching a larger boat is hard or impossible. Also some of the electric only places where you can't have a petrol motor mounted, can be good spots. I also recommend a pedal kayak for some of the skinny rivers around here. 😆
I wondered what your boat was. The extra decks hid that it's a Renegade. I have the same boat in the side console, same trailer and a 50HP Merc. Very stable, handles a bit of chop and decent amount of room and storage.
Hi Lubin, I,love all your Cod river videos so really great to have a detailed walk through of your boat set-up and explaining how it all comes together. I was also interested in your tent set-up as keen to do similar but haven’t yet find one to suit…any chance you could share the details thanks?
Nice to finally see your layout. Just wondering where do you store your lithium batteries and how do you charge them when your out. Also how long does a lithium battery last with your lowrance active target as I'm just in the process of buying it.
The batteries are stored the front compartment. I usually put 4 in there and then keep a couple under the big hatch as spares if I need them. Usually I'll get 2 days out of a 100amp lithium using the AT
@thefullscale-fishingadvent2917 Thxs for your reply about the batteries I think I might have to upgrade to lithium then as I've got a 120amp deep cycle battery. Or I might have to start carrying a generator and charger
Great addition to your other content Lubin. Always interested to see how you set up your stuff. Also shows you're more than just a pretty face ... 😀 Cheers PP
Thanks mate been waiting for this 👍
Nice boat mate

Ive always needed a good rundown of a Cod Boat. Turns out I was on the right track! Thanks Lubin. I'm gonna follow your experience on this. Cheers

Cool boat, how many hours of use do you get off 1 set of batteries just using electric motor when cod fishing specifically the drifting trips?
It depends on the flow. In lower flows you’ll usually get 2 or so days out of a set
What a weapon for a gun fisherman , love it 👍
Hey Lubin,
Do you take all 6 batteries and work thru them on yr Dampier island trips? Or do you have a method of charging them whilst camping remote?
Hey mate, on the latest trip I could do 6 days on the flats with 2 sets of batteries. I’ve got a foldable solar panel but didn’t need it
