Good one Lubin - love these flats vids. Never had a crack at eating a sharkie, growing up in FNQ there were always better things to chew on. The were great marlin bait though.
Many thanks Peter! Yep I was surprised with the sharky after all that I’ve heard. Beautiful white flesh, great tasting but everything tastes good when you cook it on the beach!

Enjoy the surface fishing for Cod, but i enjoy these stuff WAY better. So what was the issue with the Merc Loob. Judging by the fact the tools still looked new with no signs of corrosion I'm guessing they don't come out very often & are packed away well. I've never had luck with tools in the boat staying like that.
Like others, I too am keen for Part 2 & any other parts thereafter.
That’s awesome to hear. It’s great being able to travel and film different stuff like this! The solenoid was a bit corroded and jammed up. I have the same trouble with tools and although they don’t come out often I’m always maintaining/replacing them just so I don’t get caught out on the water

Thanks man, definitely a stack of fun! I think all year round is pretty good up that way. More permits during summer but the bastards are there all the time

Yes! Unfortunately I forgot to mention it but I remembered on the next video. The rod is a Primal Mega 9wt Lamson Litespeed reel. It’s an Airflo floating line, 30lb platypus fluorocarbon tippet and bastard shrimp fly
