    3.08TB - that's how much footage I boiled down to get to this. I genuinely hope you have enjoyed the process so far - If you want to have a look at any of the build process in more detail check out the playlist in the link below;

    Great to see another Dora / GriftCo video and unseen footage. Building up my new Explorer 390 (also my first tinny - moving up from a Hobie PA) and can't tell you how many times I've rewatched the Dora Project vids during the design phase. Your content is some of the best and most entertaining on RUclips for tinny / boat mods. Congrats and keep it up.

    Nice work mate. I have modded the crap out my little Smartwave 3500 too. So good for fishing now. One of my fav mods was draining the rod holders to the outside of the boat, just above the waterline.

      Thanks mate!
      Ya know what - I filmed the whole thing (obviously) but got too embarrassed about the final result. Been meaning to re-do the wrap and re-shoot it showing how I went wrong etc, just never got around to it. Maybe one day?!

    Nice job bud, what’s the model of your welder does it do mig as well cheers

    • @GriftCo
      @GriftCo  Год назад +1

      Hey Mate - it's a Lincoln Powercraft 200 AC/DC TIG - wish it could do MIG as well but it can't. I think there's an equivalent now that can do MIG though

    Nice Build and vids mate, out of curiosity how did the Bunnings connect-its on the rear deck hold up?

    • @GriftCo
      @GriftCo  Год назад +1

      Hey mate- they're still holding up without any trouble at all. When I get asked this, I do try to labour the point of the way I had constructed the build didn't rely heavily on the strength of the plastic connectors, as I had reinforced the joints with rivetted gussets etc. If I had my time again (and knew how to weld etc.) I would want to weld that entire assembly instead. A lot of room is wasted due to the 90° joint requirements as well as the thick 1" extrusions.

    How is the performance of the boat now with all th weight and the 25hp? Top speeds etc

    • @GriftCo
      @GriftCo  Месяц назад +1

      Probably much the same as before with the timber deck - the plywood is pretty equitable. However, with a full livewell and two large individuals on board its a slog to get out of the hole. Just myself, a full livewell I can peak at about 24 knots, average usually 21ish
