Thank you for watching! The baking season is here, let's make the most beloved pie; Apple pie! I hope you'll find the tutorial helpful to make it successful at home🧡
Dear Aya thank you for your videos I’ve learned a lot I made some of your receipes all are so good ! One question how long does the pie crust last? I would like to make it in advance blessings for you and your pretty daughter 🙏🇲🇽
Hi Aya, your gingerbread, and apple pie recipes are so fabulous, I shared to X so that more people can go and look your wonderful recipes up on RUclips, I do hope that you do not mind... I only found your youtube site this evening and I am so very impressed at your artistic ability when making your pies etc. well done!
Because I have an immense pie making fear, I’ve watched many apple pie videos with varying crust and filling instructions. I even bought a pie recipe book. However, it is your instructions and attention to detail that have captured my attention. I will be making this pie - trying to follow your directions exactly! Thank you for sharing! Patricia
I love all your tutorials and I look forward to watching new ones. They are very helpful and easy to understand. Please put out more because I truly love watching them.
Hi Aya! I just made apple pie using this recipe yesterday and I want to thank you coz me and my family loved it! I only have red delicious apples, it was amazing-glad i did not overcook them lol. I only trust few chef on YT and you are one of them. You teach very well that's why I get amazing result every time. I cannot wait to make cookies using your recipe this coming christmas 😊
Funny how habit makes us not think about how to do things better. I've always struggled decorating pies because I learned from my mom, who always cut steam holes *after* she put the top crust on the pie. Watching you use a cookie cutter (?) to do the steam vents while the crust was on the counter... 😅🎉 So simple, and so effective. Thanks for the great tips as always!
Aaha 😋😋, amazing. If you don't mind a genuine question, what do Americans usually eat for lunch and dinner? ( last many years I'm thinking this😄) thank you🙏.
I want to eat apple pie !! This recipe is from Aya-chan, who loves apple pie, so you can`t go wroug with it.!! 👍🥰 The pie baked in a single person bowl is cute.❣ Apple are expensive in Japan now.‥‥😂 I hope it becomes cheaper from now on.🤗
Another fantastic recipe I love apples I use stick cinnamon to cook the apples in and add powdered cinnamon I also use ground Allspice while cooking the apples. My Grandma had a apple tree I dont know what kind except She called them cooking apples they were small to medium and red and not sweet but they were sure good after cooking them with some sugar they weren't tart just a strong apple flavor.....Thank You very much for sharing
Your videos are such excellent quality. So so good. I would love to know where you get your cooking and baking implements. Do you shop off of Amazon? If so, it would really be great if you had an Amazon store front so we could buy the things that you use 😉 😉 😉. I have never seen a rolling pin like that with the texture. Do you mind sharing where you got that? Also, the large chopsticks you used in your crêpe video. Thank you and please please please don’t ever stop making videos lol.
Thank you! I mostly buy on Amazon but I also have tools I’ve got from others; I got the rolling pin more than a decade ago in Japan at a shop called Cuoca. They don’t seem to sell it internationally😣 And I think I also got the chopstick in Japan but you can also find it at Asian/international market. Or even online! I still don’t have Amazon storefront but I show a small selection of what I use currently on my website, pastry living.
I got it at a pastry tool/ingredients shop in Japan called "Cuoca". They unfortunately don't sell internationally (they should!!) but you might be able to find something similar online.
Hello amazing teacher! These pies look wonderful, and I’m not much of an apple fan, lol. Could you possibly do a video about langues de chat? Maybe with a classic version and a matcha version filled with thin white chocolate? A friend brought some back as a gift to me when she returned from visiting family in Japan, and they were spectacular! I’d love to be able to make them
Thank you! I shared a tuiles cookie tutorial this year, it's actually perfect for langues de chat as well. Spread thinly and bake until the edge is nicely golden brown. Adjust the baking time accordingly!
Oooh ! Another yummy seasonal dessert! Thank you! Just returned from Portugal and tried their famous Portugese egg tart. Love the pastry crust that is paper thin see thru but the filling was way too sweet and ....sth is missing I guess. Ha! Are you intrigued to try to show us how to make one! Would love to taste your version.
Thank you, Katalina💓 So nice, I'd love to travel and taste all the yummy sweets from each country again! I had Portugese egg tart before but I'm not super familiar with it. I need to taste more from the best to study!
Have to say it was not what I expected. I m more familiar w Asian style w custard/eggy fillings. Portages has sugar burnt flavor which is unique! But the puff pastry crust is unbelievably thin! 😂❤🎉😅
Супер! Люблю яблоки в любом виде! Мало теста и так много ЯБЛОК ! Спасибо Шеф!👍👍Super! I love apples in any form! Not enough dough and so many APPLES! Thanks Chief!👍👍
Everything looked amazing! 🍎 🥧 Would love to try the minis! Wondering if handpies are possible too? Personally, I love a more balanced and equal amount of pie crust and filling.

The little apple on top that was made from the extra dough is such a cute idea!!

Aya, you are so incredible! I love your videos, do you think you will ever do some savory bakes?
Thank you!! I'd love to sometime. What kind of savory bakes would you be interested in watching?
Thank you Aya! This looks delicious! 😊
My pleasure 😊
I can’t wait to make it! ❤
Aya, how much more dough and filling is required for 5 individual pies like in your video? Thank you! 🙏🏻😘
